Installing a new, shorter, thicker Clearview Shields Windshield on my 2023 Kawasaki Voyager

  • My OEM original windshield was fine on my Voyager but even at 6' 4" tall, I still had to look through it and I prefer it when I am actually looking over the top of a windshield.
The Company "Clearview Shields" allows you to measure up from the ignition switch to wear you want the top of the windshield to be and I settled on the 14 inch tall windshield vs the 18 inch tall OEM. Now when I ride, I see over the top but in heavy rain I can still duck down a bit for full protection. The top edge has a molded "flip up" feature that allows the wind to blow over and above your head to reduce or eliminate wind buffet depending on the length you choose.
You can order yours in the length you want and they even have special aesthetic design features no one else has for a more custom look, plus, the windshield itself is literally twice as thick as the OEM one.
Another great feature buying this windshield, it is less than half the price of the competitor's windshield and to me, 500% better quality, fit, and finish.
No, this is not a paid promotion rather the honest truth to share with my fellow motorcycle riders out there, and as you can tell, I would highly recommend buying this windshield for your ride.

I have 2022 Voyager…and like you I prefer NOT to look through the windshield. I am 5’11” so I got a 12 inch windshield that works perfectly for me. Thanks for this video, and all your Voyager content. Also I appreciate the tip about not pushing the nuts out of place 👍

Thanks Dave, I will keep the videos coming, you and I have a great, reliable Kawasaki bike and I wouldn't trade it for anything 😀 It's a keeper for sure!

Glad to hear it helped a bit, I've purchased a bunch of these rubber nutserts from Amazon since this video in case I ever need them in the future.

I may have missed it. How tall is the new windshield?

Use that link for the windshield then sit on your bike and measure as Instructed as to how high you want "your" windshield. I am 6'4" and chose the height to suit me. I like to have my eyes just above so I went with the 16 1/2 inch tall. You may want a different height. - Tank
