Competitive build: 3 power bond, hound, 4500 semi towers fusion and 1000atk towers fusion, over 9000 otks consistently, sometimes 13500
I h a v e c r i p p l i n g d e p r e s s i o n. but think about this "link summoning" I myself am trying to decks that don't need extra deck like the dinosmasher so ill probs be buying them
lol... the Chaos Ancient Gear and Howitzer and the monster that fusion summons from Raging Tempest are dirt gravel cheap... might as well include them in here as well.

Rafa hard to decide because I want the reprints from the dino structure deck but I reallyyy want this ancient gear deck
I personally prefer Ancient Gears, but I've found that generally the only worthwhile build is one that focuses on summoning Chaos Ancient Gear Giant, which isn't in the structure deck... plus, you kinda need an Edge Imp engine in the deck, consisting of 3 Edge Imp Chain, 3 Polymerization and 3 Frightfur Patchwork... and we don't have Patchwork yet.
If you're only using 3 copies of either structure deck without anything else, I'd say get 3 Dinosmasher's Fury. However, if you have the necessary cards to upgrade the Ancient Gears, I'd say it's definitely worth investing in them.
i completely agree. the worthwhile build for ancient gears is the one specifically summoning chaos giant

Destroy your own field and continuous spell cards to special summon the boss monsters, that's the main goal of the Ancient Gear deck.
Already pre ordered my 3 structure decks can't wait to play them :)
get rid of one Gigantes and replace with a 3rd card trooper. This way you can easily overwhelm the board early game if you draw a machine duplication and a more likely drawn card trooper and have have 3 by turn one! This is usually very hard for your opponent to deal with.
Jessica Batterson I don't know if you know what a limited/forbidden list is, but card trooper is semi-limited, which means you can only use 2 of it.

Whichever one interests you more, but the Dinosaurs just work much better than the Ancient Gears, unfortunately. If you don't care which one to go with, go Dino.

Been looking all over TH-cam for a deck similar to the machine one I made for my girl. You can turbo out VFD with the gear town catapult play with reactor dragon. I added it to a Machina/Infinitrack deck to make a machine mash VFD turbo. Hope you see this
Plays through hand traps because of the multiple ways to make VFD first turn (I think faster than VW) and the occasional VFD and Earthslicer turn one. Would love to email you the deck profile so you can tweak it. Think it’s a relevant rogue strategy this format
All budget too except if you want to run Zeus of course. My girl is obsessed with ancient gear so I’ve been testing for months trying to make her a deck that can compete

you don't need polymer for the deck if you run ancient gear hunting hound, also chaos golem is a dark attribute so he's makeabe with overload fusion

Cool, maybe I can finally get my gf into yugioh. She loves dinosaurs and these decks seem actually decent from just 3x structures. With the Dinos having more of an edge which she will need when vs me. I think ancient gears are cool anyway.

Does ancient gear reactor Dragon counter Ultimate Conducter Tyranno or does his effect kick in before agr Dragon can attack ? Besides obviously the fact that uct has more attack.

It's pretty funny I more or less made a machine deck that works almost identical to this ...the funny thing is....it's all commons.
-__- I'd just have to swap a few cards out for the dragons and ancient gears also I'd recommend at least 1 deseperado barrel dragon instead of 2 hydras trust me it's saved my bum a lot. also having at least 1 or 2 non machine EARTH monsters is helpful.
Have a question if you Got 2 ancient gear town On your hand if you put the 1st On the field and you want to replace it by the other one, would it destroy it or How does it work?
XxsoftraxX Ps4 actually you aren't able to replace your own field spell by activating another one anymore. The original field spell on your side of the field must be destroyed first

With geartown, yeah, only tributing that card to summon reactor dragon would be useful, but i dont know if it works that way...

Saul Good of course it can, but that doesn't negate the effect. Destroying a card only negates the effect, when the card is a permanent spell/permanent trap or a filed spell.

Yeah, definitely go at least two of both gold and silver if you have them. I recommend getting 3 Ancient Gear Hunting Hounds, Howitzers, and Chaos Ancient Gear Giants. Lastly, get 2 power bonds.
The above mentioned cards will surely allow you to dominate with Ancient Gears and make Dr. Crowler proud.

I know your trying to explain everything, but its vary hard to follow along, if someone has 3x of the structure while watching he/she would want to have the deck list first the they can follow along when your explaining combos

You Should play more Permanently Cards that are open like Pseudo Space and a second Jar of Avarice recycles the Ancient Gear Town (the 3 Terraforming do their job in this case better)
