@Auuuughhhhh it's Deck of cards (1-15 cards) that you take with you to tournaments and locals for best of 3 matches. After each round you are allowed to Side out cards to counter your opponents Deck. However you can't just put the cards straight into your Deck you HAVE to swap each card 1 for 1. If your Deck had 40 cards round 1 you can't have 41 going into round 2

15:41 technincally u have 5 interruptions, because of holeutea in the GY, which u can banish during ur opponent's turn to special summon pudica, and when pudica is special summoned it lets u banish 1 special summoned monster your opponent controls
Konami has been upping their game with these structure decks recently. This and branded are so good just out of the box. Hope we continue to get this quality out of the structure decks
@@DBRX5 Conclave control is dope, but it really requires game knowledge players won't have as beginners which is imo the intention of structures as a concept. The other decks all provide something that has a low enough skill floor for players to win consistently at locals off of knowledge of just their own deck, and a high enough skill ceiling to grow with your deck and improve.
On God the crystal beast structure isn't even that bad. Me personally, I have a lot of fun playing the deck, of course you'll get the occasional brick but at least we got ash 🤷♂️
My family and I just started playing again and we've been able to pick some of the structures deck X3 to create some decks that are semi competitive in today meta since my wife and I decks from 15 years don't work at all anymore. My son choose 3x Crystal Beast Structure Decks, I went with 3X Dark World and, my wife went with 3X Albaz. We'll be pick up 3 of this deck later this week.
Honestly I didn't expect to see this video I was literally sitting down and building a three structure deck traptrix deck of my own to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh and here this. Video pops up.
I actually think I'd prefer the triple evenly in main deck over raigeki, it's more discard fodder for traptantalizing tune or holeutea + I feel the deck struggles more going second than it does going first
Should be picking up mine tomorrow. Never thought I'd get excited for the archetype but good reprint value and very little filler-y cards make this a winner in my book.
this deck is genuinely so good especially if you are trying to start and want both staples and a decent strategy, really glad my friend who i am trying to get interested said traptrix looked interesting now
At 15:13 you can activate Traptrix Mantis's other effect bouncing the newly set trap back to your hand and resetting it avoiding the "banish if its still on the field at your next end phase" from Traptrix Dionaea. (Dang, how did I miss this video!?)

Nice to see the structure decks have been getting better. Getting back into the game after over 10 years. Picked 3 of these up along with 3 fire king structure decks. Getting 3 ash blossoms is great and this deck looks fun to play at locals.
I have bought 3x traptrix decks few days ago because nostalgia for yugioh hit me and last time I played yugioh was beck then in 2018, and I want relearn yugioh and this is so far BEST explaining video how to play this deck but I would like to see more, how interruptions works when and how to use them also other link and xyz monsters from this deck, anyway here is a sub from me it's not much but why not, especially to a person who explains very good :)

I strongly recommend playing 3 copys of trap trick. As at locals what i do is set it turn one if i have it in hand wait till endphase of my opponent turn and set grave diggers trap hole so if they handtrap me i can negative and burn for 2000 which is usually enough for lethal
100% better than albaz, not because albaz is bad but it has no opening, aluber, red and so many other necessary cards for despia that you might as well buy the singles instead of 3 SD
@@mesiagamer5217 It really isn't. Any normal into Sera -> Special exceed = Double. You don't need to trigger anything that would lock you. Neither Holeutea nor Brigandine lock you either, so even without exceed it's not that hard to get 2 level 4 without locking yourself.
Used this exact same deck profile against my friends Darkworld and Albaz deck. Albaz was tough and I certainly had to work to get that win, but I won against both. Traptrix is a very deadly deck when used correctly.

15:13 there, always Mantis bounce back to hand whatever trap was set by Dionaea to prevent it from being banished my only personal addition to the deck honestly the only good missing Hole traps as 1 of, treacherous (perfect for rafflesia shotgun) and Void (since it negates its effects bypasses destruction immunity and floating)

Hello, not an expert but I have recently started playing this deck also and am playing imperm in the main deck. Best bet is to cut down on the number of hole traps in the deck, really just look at the best decks of the format and cut down whatever has the least Interaction. I also am playing 1 trap trick in the side deck as I am playing heavy storm duster and d barrier in the side. Hope this helps! 👍

Also I don't particularly care about the structure for advanced format, as I've already been playing labrynth since release. However, I am picking up 3 of these for HAT format as it has almost everything you need for that aside from some other generic rank 4s
I JUST bought 3x Albaz strike and absolutely love my Choice. imo, I love the whole branded archetype, the art, the archetype and the play style. (Prefer combo over control) The traptrix structure doesn’t excite me and I believe that the Albaz Strike has a better whole package

Branded structure deck out of box is almost unplayable anymore it was really tough in locals upon release needs a lot of add ins just to be great out of box traptrix sd is best sd konami ever made but to each their own I do play branded and I do like the deck but to make it a playable deck at locals where I could consistently top or make top 3 cut (sometimes out of a 14 player locals) I needed about 75 more dollars in playable adds and if we included the bystial package when I finally added that when lubellion was like 70 a piece I ended up just paying meta deck prices and the 30 was irrelevant I just recently got back into the game and bought for that branded deck price about 4 fully functional decks cards I needed for my hero deck cause I love heros to the point I've just always kept my hero deck and added and removed stuff as I'm able to afford it since money is tight atm I built floowandereeze dinos traptrix and gren maju I just like a lot of different play styles lol
Competitively albaz structure is way better but this structure has so many more good reprints so it's better to buy just for the reprints and have a not bad deck to take to locals

Pudica allows your opponent to special summon one of their banished monsters during the next Standby Phase after using her effect. It doesn't have to be the special summoned monster that you banished. Holeutea is pronounced the same as colutea, but with hole and not col. I guess Holeutea is based off of colutea. Strongest structure released imo. Both in terms of reprints and out of the box viability.
I have some shinier versions of some of these cards I pulled from the mega tins so I'll definitely pick this up and put in the rarity bumps
One kinda techy thing i do is. I side utopia Drachenar and N.38 for game two when the opponent sides Backrow hate. Its summonable over utopia double
As a potential going second option, utopia double is a good otk consideration.
That Might actually be tricker then it firsts seems as a good Chuck of the new support tribe locks ya into insects and plant monsters.
