Great video as always Joose! Truly living your guys' best life out there. Me and my wife are working towards becoming digital nomads and will join you guys in Bali soon!
Really pleased your thriving and in a better place now , that takes really courage to get through the difficulties. Can I ask do you have a permanent residence in Bali ? We are moving to Asia in June and unsure wether to pay the rent on a permanent place and travel around or just find places when we travel . Thanks m I like your videos and LOVE you are vegan too 😀
Thanks so much!😊🙏🏽 I don't have permanent place anywhere. It's really nice to rent a place for 1 month minimum in every place to get much cheaper price but not to be tied to any place for longer than you want :) Hahah thank you that's so lovely to hear🌱🙊🙏🏽
Hello. From your experience, I'd like to know what you think about remote entry level jobs, like virtual assistant/proofreading/data entry/customer service, how they apply to the digital nomad lifestyle, and which cities/provide a good quality of life-environment-safety-transportation balance. I know I'm asking a lot but I'd really appreciate your insights on the topic. Thanks in advance.
I think in the beginning it cab be hood to any job like that to start earning money online. It's possible to live in Bali or Thailand with just $500-1000 so you just need a job/freelance work that pays at least that. I always think Canggu is the best place to start as it's the easiest to meet lots of other digital nomads and learn from them :)
Do you see any forigners doing travel agent work remotely? I read alot about that in the community. But on my 8 trips to thailand i never once used one myself
@@JooseTheNomad and do you know how to make a booking? Also I'd love a recommendation for koh phangang and cangu if you've got a few good ones. Your page is epic
Inspirational video! I’m currently trying to build out my online projects so I can embrace the digital nomad lifestyle one day. Just have 1 question, what work were you originally doing online that allowed you to take the first step to working from anywhere? Before you were able to set up your coaching and travel blog etc.
Great video. What type of work do you do, if I may ask? I'm from Finland too, and quite frankly you piqued my interest to try out being a digital nomad.
Thank you! Nice hahah! I do lots of different things with social media and content creation :) Yeah I highly recommend! It has been such amazing experience after living only in Finland for so long!
Thank you!! I'd recommend doing something you're passionate about so you'll stay motivated and inspired for years to come. Building any successful business takes time so this is very important in my opinion! It should also be something that is needed and you're good at🙏🏽 Nowadays what I have seen the "fastest" ways from people I meet in Bali are usually something about social media management, virtual assistant, or video editing. Hope this helps!
@@Tylersbrand yeah it's not always so clear how to do it but it doesn't necessarily need to be any more difficult than making money with something you don't enjoy!
You can try finding clients from Upwork but probably the best is to message your network & potential clients showing the value you can provide to them! Figure out how much you need to make to live in the destinations you wanna go and that's your first goal😊🙏🏽
It's sometimes a bit of a struggle😄 Shipping takes weeks sometimes and always need to deal with the customs. At least to Bali it has been like this. But it hasn't stop any partnerships really.
Thanks so much!! We make money in many ways like partnerships on TH-cam, Bali Life Video Guide, coaching, photoshoots, having different clients for content creation & other work, etc. For coaching, I charge $150 for 90 minutes lesson🙏🏽
It was tough sometimes tbh. I made lot of friends and tried to form deeper connections but wasn't super successful with that. I think I made the mistake of trying to force it to happen fast instead of letting it happen naturally🤔
@@JooseTheNomad stay home with your current position or join the local job market if you want to travel. The places you visit ARE NOT your country. Another solution would be having a tax for nomads, since they’re not paying any tax to the country they live in. That’s specially sickening from US citizens in Phillipines after what they did in XIX century to local population.
@@arcabuz "stay home" is quite offensive suggestion😅 And yeah making TH-cam videos is the job I enjoy to do and I want to provide the information for people interested in it. What's your point of saying it's not my country? So you propose people can only stay in the country they are born at?
@@JooseTheNomad I don’t care if it sounds offensive. YOU are offensive to the locals in the moment you have disposable income to play fiercer competition in the local housing market. And please stop liking your own comments, it is ridiculous
