Wow, I spend $7,500 per month as a single male in Santa Barbara California. Just gas, food, gym and rent. No drinking or going out. Contemplating quitting this nonsense
A growing trend it seems
Yeah that's insane🤯
Same in Dallas 😢😮

I came to Danang after seeing some of your videos before. Been here for a month got 6 more weeks to go! Love it, keep up the good videos!
Awesome man! Thanks, enjoy the rest of your time here🙏🏽
My wife and I own an upscale 1200-square-foot condo in a high-rise above a mall in Metro Manila, Philippines, and a nice home in Oregon, USA. My wife and I are snowbirds, and we divide our time between the Philippines and the United States. When it gets too cold in Oregon, usually towards the middle to late part of October, we lock our house up and go to the Philippines. When it gets too hot in the Philippines, usually toward the end of March, we return to the United States, and the cycle continues. My wife and I really enjoyed your video and just subscribed to your channel. Our plan is to start traveling to different parts of Asia and hope to learn from your experiences.
That's great to hear! Thank you, I hope you enjoy your travels! There so much to see and experience in Asia😍
The quality of the video is fantastic,we love it so much and thanks for your hard work

Depends... it's a high context culture, unlike the west. The idea of 'saving face' is important here. That creates all kinds of communication problems with Westerners.
It depends, some vendors charge the tourists overpriced products/items/foods
Cambodian people are even better!
Many thanks for such an interesting and informative video! I'm willing to come to Da Nang in the nearest future :)

Amazing video, I am glad it popped up I enjoyed watching it.
Thanks so much🙏🏽
folks good video. cool guy.
LISTEN: i worked ex pat for 15yrs. retired ex pat for 4 yrs. i lived for years in cambodia and thailand.
do NOT buy into any video that says you can live there (asia) for $1000 per month. PI, thailand or where ever. yes, IF you want to live a limited lifestyle and "squeeze" by each month.
OK-
IF you are there for 3 months and limit you activity's..eat only local food, bare bone room (maybe no AC) OR if you rent a condo you have to keep the AC off for 80% of the time to make "your" 1K budget work. go out a few times a month. not ever or every other month.
IF you are there for long term you will want a life. yes it is 50, 60% less that the US but you still have expences. a signfican part is where you live. i am not as familar with vietnam as i am with thailand.
in thailand you want bangkok? that is higher. chang mai (beautiful) much lower. korat (thai city) ever much much lower.
i did not even watch the complete video here.
very few speak of medical insurance in there "$1000" to live on video.
you will need that. IF it is for 3 months you can get a travel policy. IF you are really Ex pat you need a Expat policy (12months+). mine is very, very good..covers everywhere but the US and is about $250 per month.
you want to get injured and lay in thai government hospital with a 75yoa thai doctor that does not speak one word of english treating you?. those hospitals are suppose to be for thai's only and you still will get a bill OR Bumrungrad in Bangkok. world class, western trained doctors with your insurance.
vietnam might be less expensive. from what i hear they do not offer a retirement visa yet.
i would bet on for one person: $1700--$1800 for a decent, good lifestyle. yes can go lower or higher (see aboe).
folks, this could be a good guy here. i now saw a video for cambodia going down to $500 per month.
most of it is click bait. the person watching see's such a low number, clicks the video..producer makes $ and numbers advertising something that, for the most part, is not sustainable or truth..
enjoy.
AGREED. I ASKED ABOUT MEDICAL. THANK YOU.
Amazing video
It was nice to see you in Seaview Coworing Space 2 days ago.

Nice!! Yeah I am but leaving soon, also coming back for few months again next year😄
hey dude....nice video...thinking about going there for 2 weeks.
what s the name of the hotel u showing here?
Nice video!! From your experience is it worth going to Da Nang for December holiday during New Year’s? Or weather is not perfect?
The stormy season occurs from September to January 😊
I lived very well in Danang for $750/month
The reason that your sim card stoppped working after 2 weeks is because you bought in the airport, which means it is under the name of the previous owner (they take your passport just to make you think they are making it under your name), so after a while the sim is blocked. You need to buy a sim card in an official store of Viettel or Vinaphone on city center.
Okay thanks, good to know🙏🏽
I live in Florida - 15 minutes drive is NOTHING. That Elite gym is 100% worth the money for the amenities
Haha yeah compared to western countries😄🙏🏽
Cool video. Are you meeting nice people in Da Nang, or is it kind of lonely? Also, what's your current preferred filming setup (tripod/microphone/camera)? Thanks!
Thanks! I am definitely, lots of good people here this year😊 Iphone 15 pro with DJI mic!
@@JooseTheNomad What do you use for a tripod for those shots when you are standing in front of the camera?
@@earnheartgold just a random tripod from Amazon😄

Fire video, thinking of moving in sept, how accessible are activities outside the city? hikes, any historic sites etcc
Please note that the weather in Danang is not very good because it is heavily influenced by monsoons.
In January it is usually cloudy windy and rainy. Temperatures drop to about 17 degrees Celsius.
February and March are probably the best time of the year.
From April to September it is very hot and dry, especially it's scorching hot in May - August. There is very little rain, only hot dry winds coming from Laos.
October and November are months of typhoons and torrential / continuous rains.
In December, the weather is cloudy and windy with light rain or drizzles, while temperatures hover about 19-20 degrees C.
The weather can affect your outdoor activities such as hiking.
What about in September?
@@peterliam4850 The weather in September is hot, ranging from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius. It is usually sunny in the first half and partly cloudy in the second half of the month.
El Nino and la Nina also have an impact on Danang weather. For example, this year's April is hotter than last year's April.
