Alice! Hi! I love the tone brightening line minus their cleanser that irritated my skin. I also adore that soothing cream it’s definitely like honey that’s non sticky! I love the texture and find it hydrating enough mixed with a few drops of hemi light sugarcane squalane oil during colder months… hated the blue sleeping pack! Immediately got itchy after applying and had to return! 🥴 . I agree about the cream cleansers! Love them! and that sunscreen is really amazing! Alice, I must say I appreciate your thoughtfulness of other skin types, even though you and I have a fairly similar type. There are other channels with much wider audiences, with creators who’s opinions and knowledge I respect…but they’re always so focused on only their skin type. When they do come across products for dry skin it’s always glossed over or they get all dramatic about how suffocated their skin felt in a product someone like me would genuinely love. I feel like others could learn some things from you. That is all. You and Ara stay safe.

I usually go for brightening lines and I was excited to try something with Tranexamic Acid. But sadly, it didn't do anything noticeable for my skin, even after finishing it all. At first, I was annoyed at myself for having bought two bottles (the white one and the pink one) but after trying the pink ampoule a couple of times, I realized that it actually helped to keep acne at bay and made my skin feel more plump and smooth. Maybe it was the pink salt and the peptides? I don't know if the concentration is even high enough. But it definitely did something 😊
I'm currently trying the poremising ampoule, and omg, my rosacea and pores love it! Its literal magic! Redness...gone. Just gone. All day. From one use in the evening. The sunblock is also amazing. I have that currently. It really does just sink into the skin. Doesn't pill under makeup or sting eyes either.
My issue is mainly blackheads and sebaceous filaments in my T- and Butterfly zones, and the texture of the pink pore ampoule is just perfect! I love that it’s not tacky, similar to the original ampoule, plus the peptides-my skin is so happy. I got this in the mini, so once I finish it I’m heavily considering repurchasing! I also have the brightening ampoule, and it definitely works for my PIH (in combination with the BoJ rice+arbutin), but the little beads in it are a bit difficult to dissolve, even when I warm it in my fingertips first and can be abrasive to my skin if already compromised. It’s also thicker and dries down more tacky than the original and the pink pore ampoules-think Milk Makeup grip primer tacky. Thankfully I also only got this in the mini, so probably won’t be a repurchase.
@@Storm411z cannot highly recommend enough getting your hands on the petitfee blackhead melting mask. Very inexpensive. You get five per pack. Loads of extra serum in each one, and it just melts those filaments right away. Absolutely amazing product, and it doesn't involve ripping anything off your skin to remove the filaments. The treatment mask is filled with serum (it does tingle)
@@MoonLightt57 I actually find the absolute best soothing and hydrating mask for an insane degree of pore minimisation, is the Mary&may cica clay mask product. Comes on a very pretty (recyclable) jar. Tip to use is to make your face wet and reliquify on the skin before rinsing. Or it's hard to remove. The little bits of plant matter in it exfoliate as you gently rub to turn it back to ...mud. The poremising ampoule I noticed some pore reduction. But paired with that clay mask the result is uncanny valley.
The 100% Central ampoule... It saved my face. I wanna try the whole line now. This brand really called my attention. If the other products are as good as the ampoule, this brand will be in my life forever 😍...
I'm about to end of 1 month usage of the Skin1004 brghtening toner and ampoule and so far I am seeing results. My acne scars haven't completely faded yet, but my face brightened. Not too bright of course since I am still in my first month and going on my 2nd month. I bought the original centella madagascar toner and ampoule and will use it once I am done using the brightening line. SKIN1004 products are definitely promising. I'm excited to continue using it for the rest of 2024. :)
Those amps will last me 6 years per bottle. I love they actually sell large sizes. Less waste in packaging and less pollution with shipping. Thanks for another great brand review. Hope you guys are doing well after the storm. 💜
The 100% centella ampoule is amazing! I have type 1 rosacea and my cheeks are VERY sensitive to anything but basic products, and I would always have some redness. Within a few days of starting that ampoule my cheeks were calm with barely any redness. I never want to be without it now! The cleanser from that line is nice on my oily areas but the smell is too much for me!
@kc5881 It reduces the redness and inflammation of acne but it won’t prevent acne. The things that have helped me most to prevent it are Adapalene, the Ma:nyo Bifida Biome Complex, and the Lion Pair cream.
Such a great review! I've been intrigued, confused and excited all at once about the Skin1004 line for a while. I've tried the Madagascar centella line, but have yet to try the other lines, but they have such a great line up, so I'll have to slowly work my way through the other lines. This was a great help to see which products I'm drawn to next.
Tea tree worked really well for me for my acne and paired with Salycilic acid they really cleared out my face. My make up artist even told me that my skin looks amazing and what I was using 😆 The make up really spread out well
My husband is very difficult to please when it comes to sunscreen. He has dry, sensitive skin like me, but he cannot tolerate any skincare that feels greasy. I got him to try it and was amazed when he told me he liked it. I don’t have to cajole him to use it. That is huge! Of course, it’s my favorite, too.
The ampoule foam has to be my favourite cleanser ever, I adore the texture! For a long time I was using a salicylic acid cleanser in the AM+PM, shaving every day and using the ordinary's peeling solution twice a week. My skin is looking so much better using this in the AM. I also really like layering the soothing cream under a heavier moisturiser at night. Can't wait to try more from this brand. ☺
I added the Centella 100 ampoule on a whim, i was impressed purely by it's size, and my skin is just in love with it already! Definitely going to be picking up the tone correcting ampoule and cream, and probably the oil cleanser too when i run out!
The SPF is PERFECTION!! Also my current favorite. Ohh on the topic of cream cleansers.... have you tried the Isntree Yam cream cleansers!? I'm not usually a cream cleansers lover myself but this one is GORGEOUS!! AMAZING video as always!!

Glad you’re doing ok & thanks for the review! I’ve actually recently purchased a few more of their products and have enjoyed most of them, excluding only the Hyalu-cica mist. The smell very much gives the sensation of using household cleaning spray on my face… Unless there’s room in Korean labeling laws to not disclose certain types or amounts of fragrance, the fragrant extracts in that one are STRONG!
Did you try anything else from that line? I wonder how it compares in the scent aspect. The sleeping mask was the strongest out of all of these and WHEW it’s a lot of scent to my nose!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole I do actually have the ampoule from the line as well! I’ve enjoyed it so far, it does have the faintest bit of a scent but it’s nothing compared to the mist or even a similar smell- intriguing considering it contains all the same suspected fragrant components

This makes me so happy!! 🥰 I'm so tired, I'm 🤪 so I'm going to watch the rest from the bathtub. 😂 OMDog I must try out that brightening ampule, and the pore one...😍 I always like to have gentler forms/choices of my higher strength actives. That way I can rest my skin, but not ditch the actives. I admit though that I wish they'd offer a package of all the ampules at smaller sizes, like BOJ, Some by MI, etc...

The Soothing Cream was my introduction to the Skin 1004 line and is a lovely gel cream texture that works well for my mature, somewhat dry skin with complicating rosacea. I like it well enough to have repurchased and to keep a back up, if I don’t use it for a few days I will notice my skin is missing something. I do use it as one of my moisturizer layers, because I prefer to add layers of lighter products to adjust to the changes in my skin, I then will end with a more occlusive moisturizing cream. I have tried other Centella Asiatica ampules/serums, but I want to introduce the 1004 ampule from the original line next, and possibly alternate the tone-brightening ampule. I can’t wait to try the sunscreen you covered in a recent post, because while I may have a dryer skin type, I don’t love how shiny sunscreens look or feel.
The soothing cream really is such a unique product! I found myself layering it as well, which made me really appreciate the large size. I tend to go heavy on application with lighter moisturizer (even when layering, it’s a habit I suppose). I can finish a 1.7oz gel moisturizer in a couple weeks if I’m not careful haha!
Love love this brand! Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun WAS my favorite sun screen ever until I found the haruharu (the yellow one)! Just perfect!

I wonder if the fact that it’s specifically Madagascar cebtella is just used for marketing. Is the brand transparent about why they use that specific centella and what are the benefits and how it compares to other centella extracts. My first impression is “this brands specialty is centella so it must be better” but I’d love to learn more and have some stdies/science on that

I had always heard that cica was a shortening of centella asiatica (get it c-ica lol!) but I’ve heard others say that cica can refer to additional calming ingredients. This is all to say: there does seem to be some confusion around it’s meaning!

Which ampule or serum would you recommend of any brand that will target wrinkles and aging issues as well as hydrate my skin and give my skin that glow question Mike, I do have syndromes that have done a wonderful job on getting rid of my molassmo. I looked through this line. I ❤ the toners as well. I appreciate the breakdown of the whole line. It’s true that I used to treat my acne with tea tree. I more recently discovered a strong retinol, adapalene, and then Tretinoin. I found that going back to tea tree to treat any breakouts caused redness and inflammation. I agree that essential oils have a place. Tea tree and lavender can be very irritating and it is surprisingly common to find them on the ingredients list. Skin1004 should concoct and send you a soothing milky cleanser.
Yep, totally agree - stronger retinoids changed the game for me in terms of acne. I used to have such a complicated approach (bha, sulfur, tto, bpo, can’t mix this with that, some if->then programming…my god it was the always Sunny meme lol). Now the focus is adapalene and calming. Worlds easier! Someday I’ll work up to tret; it sounds so worth it.

I haven't tried the sunscreen yet, but at the end of a hydrating and moisturizing routine a moisturizing sunscreen just sits uncomfortably heavy on my face.

Hi currently im using the 100% centella asiatica aampoule and the soothing moisturiser as previously my skin barrier was damaged and combi dehydrated oily skin. But i also have tiny bumps clogged pores and quite obvious pore size. So can i use this poremizing serum & its mosturiser in the morning, while the 100% centella ampoule & soothing moisturiser at night?

The oil cleanser has bergamont oil 😞 I have been thinking about buying it but then I saw bergamot oil and got scared . Did u get any reaction from it. I like the fact that it is so light u don't even have to do a second cleanse I do it alot with the farmacy cleansing balm I don't really need a second cleanse and it doesn't feel heavy or leave a film. I tried the sew cica bio cream , it kinda smells like burning plastic and that bothers me abit it goes away but that is all I can think of is burning plastic when I put it on.
Strangely, this one seemed to work for me. So I got overconfident with cleansers containing that ingredient and…I’m not sure the same rule held true with manyo’s cleansing oil? This is why every so often I just go “I’m done with all fragrance!!” (Until I miss it again 🤐)
Thank you for the review last night I used timeless vitamin c serum and it really ripped up my skin I should have known better tonight going to work I went in with this soothing cream and then went over the top with cosrx cica cream as I knew I'd be outside all night mite take few days to get my skin back I allso have the cosrx cica toner on the way. No more vitamin c serum for me il use alternatives .you look great in black by the way 🌑
honestly My.experience is that its best not to use any serum or toner on skin with retinol. The moisture can make it penetrate more deeply and cause irritation. Best thing to do is wash, dry thoroughly, apply retinol, wait half an hour, moisturise. This minimises reactions. Keep your other products for another day or your morning routine.
I cant use niacinamide 😢 it took months to realize this causes itchy redness and pustual irratation. I have eleminated it compleatly and my skin is clear within a week. But that brighting ampule will be here today. I can't use it. 😢
Agreed about not liking the super glowy sunscreens. When I get to the sunscreen step I want it to be like...a barely there kind of deal. But I've seen that the alternative, especially with mineral sunscreens, tends to be the mattifying sunscreen and I don't like that too much either because even with a moisturizer underneath it tends to dry me out. So....question for you: if this isn't glory, is it matte at all? Or does it hit that sweet spot of being perfect for dry skinned gals who don't wanna feel their sunscreen?
Nope, it’s not matte! I very much relate with the mineral sunscreens, but I’d say there does exist an in between. If you’ve tried the Canmake, i would actually say it wears the most like that - but canmake is still a tad more drying (I assume due to the mineral filters?) Different application though.

I find the cleanser drying, I prefer the Beauty ofJosean cleanser. The cica ampule is one of my holy grail serums, I prefer tbe centella cream over the soothing cream.
Interesting, we have the same cleanser preferences! I feel like I’ve become very picky with cleansers - that’s something I would not have predicted at the beginning of my skincare journey. Turns out that it IS important to find the right one for our skin’s needs!
I haven't tried this line yet but it's very intriguing now that you're going over it I thought it was just a bunch of essential oils and just playing stuff but now that you're explaining it it sounds pretty cool but big question what should I purchase.. The soothing cream that feels like lighter petroleum jelly - I named such consistency product a gel-balm. Like we would have gel-creams. I have not tried the Soothing Cream, but now I am really intrigued. It sounds like this cream that I liked - VILLAGE 11 FACTORY - Derma Clear B5 Cica Cream.

It has a bit more of oompf in it when comparing to other pure jelly creams. It does not immediately disappear from the skin, but actually feels hydrating and enough moisturizing for oily skin AM routine. This is a great product, thank you for recommending it!
I forgot to say this the first time around, so I wanted to come back and just make a note that 5% tea tree oil has been shown in studies to be the most effective topically!
I have dehydrated acne prone skin that looks oily. I wanted to try out the hyalu-cica line 🤔 should I try the trea cica as well? Or poremizing? All these options overwhelm me
It kind of depends on what you’re targeting. All the products are multi-purpose (in that they hydrate and contain ingredients to help balance sebum production), but the hyalu cica will target dehydration a bit more, the tea tree will target acne a bit more, and the poremizing will target inflammation a bit more. I do not personally think you need all 3, but you could consider making different steps in your routine more dedicated to specific purposes (ie: essence targets dehydration/serum targets acne)

don't disodium EDTA cancel copper peptide in that poremizing ampoule? it is absurd high in ingredient list and it is a chelator so it can react with copper ions if tripeptide is not stable - and it is really hard to make it stable when the product is open
I have this same dry, acne-prone and sensitive skin. And i recommend using the original 100% centella asciatica toner together with the ampoule plus moisturizer all in the original centella line. Because these has saved my skin! Acne-free for years now. I mean no breakouts ever, and it feels really moisturizing to my dry sensitive skin. I promise you it is holy grail for our type of skin!

It's all about what ingredients are in the toner?Don't Mix: Retinol with vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide, and AHA/BHA acids. AHA and BHA acids are exfoliating, which can dry out the skin and cause further irritation if your skincare routine already includes retinol.
I didn’t notice the beads creating any exfoliating in the tone brightening ampoule, so that is an interesting observation. I want to try the moisturizer version now. I really liked the cleansing foam in the sample I got and want to try the oil too. And as a frequent commenter on the sunscreen, I’m so happy you like it!
I have the centella soothing cream and honestly it is NOT a cream. At all. So for my dry skin, it’s not enough but it does feel so nice and cooling on the skin so I love to apply it then apply a thicker moisturizer or during the day I’ll use just the soothing cream and a moisturizing SPF

@@Storm411z cannot highly recommend enough getting your hands on the petitfee blackhead melting mask. Very inexpensive. You get five per pack. Loads of extra serum in each one, and it just melts those filaments right away. Absolutely amazing product, and it doesn't involve ripping anything off your skin to remove the filaments. The treatment mask is filled with serum (it does tingle)

@@MoonLightt57 I actually find the absolute best soothing and hydrating mask for an insane degree of pore minimisation, is the Mary&may cica clay mask product. Comes on a very pretty (recyclable) jar.
Tip to use is to make your face wet and reliquify on the skin before rinsing. Or it's hard to remove. The little bits of plant matter in it exfoliate as you gently rub to turn it back to ...mud.
The poremising ampoule I noticed some pore reduction. But paired with that clay mask the result is uncanny valley.

I'm about to end of 1 month usage of the Skin1004 brghtening toner and ampoule and so far I am seeing results. My acne scars haven't completely faded yet, but my face brightened. Not too bright of course since I am still in my first month and going on my 2nd month. I bought the original centella madagascar toner and ampoule and will use it once I am done using the brightening line. SKIN1004 products are definitely promising. I'm excited to continue using it for the rest of 2024. :)

Those amps will last me 6 years per bottle. I love they actually sell large sizes. Less waste in packaging and less pollution with shipping.

The 100% centella ampoule is amazing! I have type 1 rosacea and my cheeks are VERY sensitive to anything but basic products, and I would always have some redness. Within a few days of starting that ampoule my cheeks were calm with barely any redness. I never want to be without it now!
The cleanser from that line is nice on my oily areas but the smell is too much for me!

@kc5881 It reduces the redness and inflammation of acne but it won’t prevent acne. The things that have helped me most to prevent it are Adapalene, the Ma:nyo Bifida Biome Complex, and the Lion Pair cream.
Such a great review! I've been intrigued, confused and excited all at once about the Skin1004 line for a while. I've tried the Madagascar centella line, but have yet to try the other lines, but they have such a great line up, so I'll have to slowly work my way through the other lines. This was a great help to see which products I'm drawn to next.
Tea tree worked really well for me for my acne and paired with Salycilic acid they really cleared out my face. My make up artist even told me that my skin looks amazing and what I was using 😆 The make up really spread out well

My husband is very difficult to please when it comes to sunscreen. He has dry, sensitive skin like me, but he cannot tolerate any skincare that feels greasy. I got him to try it and was amazed when he told me he liked it. I don’t have to cajole him to use it. That is huge! Of course, it’s my favorite, too.
The ampoule foam has to be my favourite cleanser ever, I adore the texture! For a long time I was using a salicylic acid cleanser in the AM+PM, shaving every day and using the ordinary's peeling solution twice a week. My skin is looking so much better using this in the AM. I also really like layering the soothing cream under a heavier moisturiser at night. Can't wait to try more from this brand. ☺

I always had oily skin…. But I started using products for dry skin and it actually balanced my skin out and it’s no longer oily!
I added the Centella 100 ampoule on a whim, i was impressed purely by it's size, and my skin is just in love with it already! Definitely going to be picking up the tone correcting ampoule and cream, and probably the oil cleanser too when i run out!
The SPF is PERFECTION!! Also my current favorite.

Glad you’re doing ok & thanks for the review! I’ve actually recently purchased a few more of their products and have enjoyed most of them, excluding only the Hyalu-cica mist. The smell very much gives the sensation of using household cleaning spray on my face… Unless there’s room in Korean labeling laws to not disclose certain types or amounts of fragrance, the fragrant extracts in that one are STRONG!
Did you try anything else from that line? I wonder how it compares in the scent aspect. The sleeping mask was the strongest out of all of these and WHEW it’s a lot of scent to my nose!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole I do actually have the ampoule from the line as well! I’ve enjoyed it so far, it does have the faintest bit of a scent but it’s nothing compared to the mist or even a similar smell- intriguing considering it contains all the same suspected fragrant components

That way I can rest my skin, but not ditch the actives. I admit though that I wish they'd offer a package of all the ampules at smaller sizes, like BOJ, Some by MI, etc...

The Soothing Cream was my introduction to the Skin 1004 line and is a lovely gel cream texture that works well for my mature, somewhat dry skin with complicating rosacea. I like it well enough to have repurchased and to keep a back up, if I don’t use it for a few days I will notice my skin is missing something. I do use it as one of my moisturizer layers, because I prefer to add layers of lighter products to adjust to the changes in my skin, I then will end with a more occlusive moisturizing cream. I have tried other Centella Asiatica ampules/serums, but I want to introduce the 1004 ampule from the original line next, and possibly alternate the tone-brightening ampule. I can’t wait to try the sunscreen you covered in a recent post, because while I may have a dryer skin type, I don’t love how shiny sunscreens look or feel.
The soothing cream really is such a unique product! I found myself layering it as well, which made me really appreciate the large size. I tend to go heavy on application with lighter moisturizer (even when layering, it’s a habit I suppose). I can finish a 1.7oz gel moisturizer in a couple weeks if I’m not careful haha!

I wonder if the fact that it’s specifically Madagascar cebtella is just used for marketing. Is the brand transparent about why they use that specific centella and what are the benefits and how it compares to other centella extracts. My first impression is “this brands specialty is centella so it must be better” but I’d love to learn more and have some stdies/science on that

I had always heard that cica was a shortening of centella asiatica (get it c-ica lol!) but I’ve heard others say that cica can refer to additional calming ingredients. This is all to say: there does seem to be some confusion around it’s meaning!

I looked through this line. I ❤ the toners as well. I appreciate the breakdown of the whole line. It’s true that I used to treat my acne with tea tree. I more recently discovered a strong retinol, adapalene, and then Tretinoin. I found that going back to tea tree to treat any breakouts caused redness and inflammation. I agree that essential oils have a place. Tea tree and lavender can be very irritating and it is surprisingly common to find them on the ingredients list. Skin1004 should concoct and send you a soothing milky cleanser.
Yep, totally agree - stronger retinoids changed the game for me in terms of acne. I used to have such a complicated approach (bha, sulfur, tto, bpo, can’t mix this with that, some if->then programming…my god it was the always Sunny meme lol). Now the focus is adapalene and calming. Worlds easier! Someday I’ll work up to tret; it sounds so worth it.

I have dry skin and agree with you on the Centella Ampoule foam; perfect for my oily-skinned daughter though. I haven't tried the sunscreen yet, but at the end of a hydrating and moisturizing routine a moisturizing sunscreen just sits uncomfortably heavy on my face.

Hi currently im using the 100% centella asiatica aampoule and the soothing moisturiser as previously my skin barrier was damaged and combi dehydrated oily skin. But i also have tiny bumps clogged pores and quite obvious pore size. So can i use this poremizing serum & its mosturiser in the morning, while the 100% centella ampoule & soothing moisturiser at night?

i've just purchased SKIN1004 - Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule. Would you say it best to apply before VitaminC serum in the AM and before Retinal in the PM?
The oil cleanser has bergamont oil 😞 I have been thinking about buying it but then I saw bergamot oil and got scared . Did u get any reaction from it. I like the fact that it is so light u don't even have to do a second cleanse I do it alot with the farmacy cleansing balm I don't really need a second cleanse and it doesn't feel heavy or leave a film.
I tried the sew cica bio cream , it kinda smells like burning plastic and that bothers me abit it goes away but that is all I can think of is burning plastic when I put it on.
Strangely, this one seemed to work for me. So I got overconfident with cleansers containing that ingredient and…I’m not sure the same rule held true with manyo’s cleansing oil? This is why every so often I just go “I’m done with all fragrance!!” (Until I miss it again 🤐)

Thank you for the review last night I used timeless vitamin c serum and it really ripped up my skin I should have known better tonight going to work I went in with this soothing cream and then went over the top with cosrx cica cream as I knew I'd be outside all night mite take few days to get my skin back I allso have the cosrx cica toner on the way. No more vitamin c serum for me il use alternatives .you look great in black by the way 🌑

honestly My.experience is that its best not to use any serum or toner on skin with retinol. The moisture can make it penetrate more deeply and cause irritation.
Best thing to do is wash, dry thoroughly, apply retinol, wait half an hour, moisturise.
This minimises reactions.
Keep your other products for another day or your morning routine.
I cant use niacinamide 😢 it took months to realize this causes itchy redness and pustual irratation. I have eleminated it compleatly and my skin is clear within a week. But that brighting ampule will be here today. I can't use it. 😢

Agreed about not liking the super glowy sunscreens. When I get to the sunscreen step I want it to be like...a barely there kind of deal. But I've seen that the alternative, especially with mineral sunscreens, tends to be the mattifying sunscreen and I don't like that too much either because even with a moisturizer underneath it tends to dry me out. So....question for you: if this isn't glory, is it matte at all? Or does it hit that sweet spot of being perfect for dry skinned gals who don't wanna feel their sunscreen?
Nope, it’s not matte! I very much relate with the mineral sunscreens, but I’d say there does exist an in between. If you’ve tried the Canmake, i would actually say it wears the most like that - but canmake is still a tad more drying (I assume due to the mineral filters?) Different application though.

I find the cleanser drying, I prefer the Beauty ofJosean cleanser. The cica ampule is one of my holy grail serums, I prefer tbe centella cream over the soothing cream.
Interesting, we have the same cleanser preferences! I feel like I’ve become very picky with cleansers - that’s something I would not have predicted at the beginning of my skincare journey. Turns out that it IS important to find the right one for our skin’s needs!

The soothing cream that feels like lighter petroleum jelly - I named such consistency product a gel-balm. Like we would have gel-creams. I have not tried the Soothing Cream, but now I am really intrigued. It sounds like this cream that I liked - VILLAGE 11 FACTORY - Derma Clear B5 Cica Cream.

It has a bit more of oompf in it when comparing to other pure jelly creams. It does not immediately disappear from the skin, but actually feels hydrating and enough moisturizing for oily skin AM routine. This is a great product, thank you for recommending it!
I forgot to say this the first time around, so I wanted to come back and just make a note that 5% tea tree oil has been shown in studies to be the most effective topically!

It kind of depends on what you’re targeting. All the products are multi-purpose (in that they hydrate and contain ingredients to help balance sebum production), but the hyalu cica will target dehydration a bit more, the tea tree will target acne a bit more, and the poremizing will target inflammation a bit more. I do not personally think you need all 3, but you could consider making different steps in your routine more dedicated to specific purposes (ie: essence targets dehydration/serum targets acne)

It makes sense, since serum penetrates deeper, to therefore use a serum that targets acne.. for some reason in my mind I was thinking toner for acne and serum for hydration 🤣🤣😭😭 i suppose bc although I have acne, getting back moisture in my skin is more important to me than clear my acne lol

don't disodium EDTA cancel copper peptide in that poremizing ampoule? it is absurd high in ingredient list and it is a chelator so it can react with copper ions if tripeptide is not stable - and it is really hard to make it stable when the product is open

I have this same dry, acne-prone and sensitive skin. And i recommend using the original 100% centella asciatica toner together with the ampoule plus moisturizer all in the original centella line.
Because these has saved my skin! Acne-free for years now. I mean no breakouts ever, and it feels really moisturizing to my dry sensitive skin.
I promise you it is holy grail for our type of skin!

I almost wish I wouldn’t have bought the full size of the original ampoule! It’s good, but it’s basic.
My issue is mainly blackheads and sebaceous filaments in my T- and Butterfly zones, and the texture of the pink pore ampoule is just perfect! I love that it’s not tacky, similar to the original ampoule, plus the peptides-my skin is so happy. I got this in the mini, so once I finish it I’m heavily considering repurchasing!
I also have the brightening ampoule, and it definitely works for my PIH (in combination with the BoJ rice+arbutin), but the little beads in it are a bit difficult to dissolve, even when I warm it in my fingertips first and can be abrasive to my skin if already compromised. It’s also thicker and dries down more tacky than the original and the pink pore ampoules-think Milk Makeup grip primer tacky. Thankfully I also only got this in the mini, so probably won’t be a repurchase.

It's all about what ingredients are in the toner?Don't Mix: Retinol with vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide, and AHA/BHA acids. AHA and BHA acids are exfoliating, which can dry out the skin and cause further irritation if your skincare routine already includes retinol.

I didn’t notice the beads creating any exfoliating in the tone brightening ampoule, so that is an interesting observation. I want to try the moisturizer version now. I really liked the cleansing foam in the sample I got and want to try the oil too. And as a frequent commenter on the sunscreen, I’m so happy you like it!

I have the centella soothing cream and honestly it is NOT a cream. At all. So for my dry skin, it’s not enough but it does feel so nice and cooling on the skin so I love to apply it then apply a thicker moisturizer or during the day I’ll use just the soothing cream and a moisturizing SPF
