I bought the 1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica ampoule and I wasn't impressed. I didn't repurchased it. I'm sticking with the Instree mugwort ampoule which works better for my sensitive, damaged skin. Thank you for another great video Yuhee!
Hi Manon! Yes it is SKIN1004's one of the most viral products that didn't quite live up to the hype for me too. Mugwort is a great ingredient for sensitive skin and so is CICA. Skincare is so personal, I think mugwort must be the right match for you. I’m so glad you’ve found the perfect ingredients and products for your skin. I always forget that Korea is a “winter” country with similar weather to Montana USA in the mountains. At 54, my skin is finally getting the right kind of products. Practically Everything developed in the US is formulated for southern California or high humidity! Even the dry skin formulas are wayyyy too mild. Discovered skin1004 randomly, no idea it was trending, but i was so impressed with the mist that i ordered a 2nd one for my bedroom/purse & several more products as our snowy season is well underway! I’ve got my arsenal stocked tho 😊

I've had the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Watergel Sheet Ampoule Mask and loved it so much! I wanted to buy the Centella Ampoule, but seeing it in the so-so category, I now want to see if there is any mini version for me to try 😅 I've also had the Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, which I was very wary of at the beginning, but ended up loving it and is now on my shopping list for 2025 ❤ The Light Cleansing Oil was really nice for me, it was especially nice when I had breakouts as it was very soothing. Thank you so much for reviewing so many SKIN1004 products ❤
Also had the clay stick mask...oh boy I can't agree more 😅 It was nice and smooth on the first use, but once I got to the second and third uses, the particles were stuck (?) somehow in the stick and were scratching my skin 😢 It was more on the drying side, so I would say a big NO for dry and sensitive skin types. I think it would be good for combo and oily skin types, just make sure you get any stuck exfoliating particles on the stick before applying 😅 I also thought the amount of product is not good. You might get several uses out of it, but would rather go for clay masks you can apply from a tube/container.

My favorite I had tried and use to this day are the Probio- Enrich Cream, Essese Toner, Hyalu water-fit sunblock, and my favorite of all (that I have tried) is the Tone Brightening Capsule Ampule. I layer is with the Jumiso Snail 95+ as my deep drink of moisture before I add my moisturizer.

Hi, I don't know the full ingredient of that cream from Dr Althea but I believe that it's designed for strengthening skin barrier. Centella asiatica is also a great ingredient for the skin barrier so I think combining both is a good approach 🙂
I used Madagascar centella hyalu-cica blue serum all summer on my mature skin and loved the light texture and how it worked under the water fit sunscreen
I've been using the Centella Asiatica ampoule, it's fine, won't be repurchasing. I'm waiting for the Probio Cica cream and eye cream in the mail, can't wait! For next summer I'm trying the sun serum, I didn't have time this summer, there won't be much sun here in Norway until April 😅

Hi, great video! I am enjoying the probio-cica intensive ampule, however it does leave a bit of a sticky residue. So I don’t feel like it gets absorbed into the skin… do you perhaps have any advice for this?
Hi my lovely, try using a smaller amount and patting it into slightly damp skin, so followed by another serum. This should help with absorption and reduce stickiness. Let me know if this has helped 🙂

For breakouts, I would suggest you not to use a cleaning oil, but instead use a cleansing water or gel and a gentle cleansing foam with ingredients like green tea or mung bean. The one product that I wasn’t a fan of was Hyalu Cica First Ampule. It doesn’t feel good on my skin and hasn’t done anything really. Although I gave it a fair try. I am a huge fan of skin1004, especially their sun cream. Previously I used sun cream from Roundlab, I like the light and not oily feeling from their suncream, but my skin gets a lot of cyst acne and terrible clogged pores. After I switched to skin1004's sun cream, all the cyst acne is reduced and my skin feels really calm, it feels like my skin thanking me for not making them suffer anymore. Now I want to stock up on skin1004 because it's on 50% sale at yesstyle, that’s why I watched this video 🤭

Just soaking in skin1004 sheets mask and this popped up 😂. For my dry mature skin - niacinamide is a no no - it dries the skin, I didn’t know why my skin doesn’t like the toner, but as soon as I saw that there is niacinamide in the ingredients l. Aldo I absolutely wouldn’t buy an eye cream with niacinamide. Also no chemical sunscreen for me. I love the ampoule. I liked the cleansing oil though, but it has a fragrance in it, so not repurchasing. Pore minimizing toner - somehow not my favorite. Glycolic acid is better for me for pore minimizing. I really liked cream cleanser though.

I have that stick claymask and I don’t like it, I like brightening ampoule and pro bio cica Toner and sunscreen , that cream is comedogenic because of isostearyl isostearate, cleanser also good and poremizing ampoule as well, but there are better cleansers on the market, thanks for video
@@oneeyebeauty No, you need at lease 10 to 12 swipes to cover the area. I tested on my arms, even with 10 layers I only able to used 1/4 of recommended amount. There is a video by lab Muffin Beauty Science than explained why spray and stick sunscreens are not reliable. I understand why the Sun Stick is popular, it has very smooth and silky texture, and looks matte on the skin, maybe it would be a good makeup base?

I heard that the concentration of peptides in poremezing ampoule is very low , so we can’t use it as a peptide serum.. Is it true ?
Yes that's true. I'd suggest using a proper peptide serum like from the ordinary if you want a peptide serum. Skin 1004 has lower %

I am a huge fan of skin1004, especially their sun cream. Previously I used sun cream from Roundlab, I like the light and not oily feeling from their suncream, but my skin gets a lot of cyst acne and terrible clogged pores. After I switched to skin1004's sun cream, all the cyst acne is reduced and my skin feels really calm, it feels like my skin thanking me for not making them suffer anymore. Now I want to stock up on skin1004 because it's on 50% sale at yesstyle, that’s why I watched this video 🤭

Wow, aren't you lucky? Cos de Baha has a serum with 2.5% retinol. It is effective, but my skin is unfortunately too sensitive so can't handle it. I have shown it in one of my routine videos here :) th-cam.com/video/UEEtqnk59Ag/w-d-xo.html

Yes, their main ingredient in all of their products are Centella Asiatica which is highly antioxidant. Would recommend to young skin 🙂

Just soaking in skin1004 sheets mask and this popped up 😂. For my dry mature skin - niacinamide is a no no - it dries the skin, I didn’t know why my skin doesn’t like the toner, but as soon as I saw that there is niacinamide in the ingredients l. Aldo I absolutely wouldn’t buy an eye cream with niacinamide. Also no chemical sunscreen for me. I love the ampoule. I liked the cleansing oil though, but it has a fragrance in it, so not repurchasing. Pore minimizing toner - somehow not my favorite. Glycolic acid is better for me for pore minimizing. I really liked cream cleanser though.

I have that stick claymask and I don’t like it, I like brightening ampoule and pro bio cica Toner and sunscreen , that cream is comedogenic because of isostearyl isostearate, cleanser also good and poremizing ampoule as well, but there are better cleansers on the market, thanks for video

Skin1004 is really good for sensitive and acne-prone skin. I tried Cerave and Cetaphil products but they always make me break out. Never going back.
And the Sun Stick is worse, you can't get enough product on your skin.

@@oneeyebeauty No, you need at lease 10 to 12 swipes to cover the area. I tested on my arms, even with 10 layers I only able to used 1/4 of recommended amount. There is a video by lab Muffin Beauty Science than explained why spray and stick sunscreens are not reliable.
I understand why the Sun Stick is popular, it has very smooth and silky texture, and looks matte on the skin, maybe it would be a good makeup base?
