    I run VP C12 and saber in my TMR engines and primal MT stock engine. They love it! And you turned me on to that mix.

    Great vid, been wanting to go with a more fuel rich mix but worried I would goof stuff up. Been using the VP "power mix" 25:1 stuff. Just got a 5gal pale of C12 to try out. Thinking of 50:1 to start with. I know it is an old vid but always good info, thanks.

      Yessir 50:1 more fuel which is more lube as well in a sense because the oil being suspended in the fuel. You cant go wrong with 50:1. C12 is awesome best fuel to use for these engines! Hope are enjoying your Sunday! Thanks for watching and commenting!

    this video is over a year old. Do you still feel that the saber Amsoil is the best in watching a lot of your old videos. You have an excellent channel. Thank you.

    • @eastsiderc
      @eastsiderc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well thank you Judda and I will say there are a whole lot of very good synthetic oil‘s out there today but I do, and will always use Amsoil saber simply because of the sheer test. I have put it through and it has proven to be some excellent oil. And on a sidenote, Amsoil is the very first company to bring us synthetic oil’s in the whole entire world so that’s another reason that I will stick with Amsoil. If I had a second choice, I would probably go with motul. Oh, what essentially I like to run my engines in on a conventional oil because that helps the rain sheet to the cylinder much faster. I hope you have an awesome day brother. Thanks for the compliment.

    I run my RC airplane engines ( DA50cc) using Saber at 100:1 never had a problem.
    Desert Aircraft engine are one of the best if not the best RC airplane engines on the market. I had 4 , two 50cc, one 60cc and one 150cc and they are no cheap.

      Hahaha its bound to dry up soon! These cooler temps make for some awesome brappin with power!! And nothing wrong with Dominator bro I used all mine up before I switched to Saber. I like them both I just like saber better after trying it and my 45 not blowing up impressed me I wish I had of filmed me trying to blow it. I held it non stop full tilt around mom n dads land wfo for many laps until I saw smoke bellowing from the side of rhe engine then I stopped 🤣🤣😂 that was the clutch totally smoked and the seal melted 😂 so you knowit went lean when the seals went and bro that junk chinese 45 never hiccuped after I cleaned it put new bearings and seals in it. That is when I made the full switch. I was shocked chrome is some hard stuff!!

      @@eastsiderc yessir all amsoil products are great! The quality of the synthetic oils these days are amazing. Look how long a highway engine can go between services now! This is a controversial topic that I myself did a vid on months ago and people still grill me on (50:1). It’s in the tune bro good oil + fat tune =long life and most smiles per gallon.

    • @eastsiderc
      @eastsiderc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey brother 25:1 is a but excessive try 40:1 or 50:1 your spark plugs will last a lot longer. Even through 25:1 is fine for castor 927 its still a bit excessive for these tiny engines so I would try 40:1 or 50:1 it will be way easier to tune and you should get cooler engine temps because at 50:1 and even 40:1 your getting more fuel to the engine and fuel cools the engine as well as makes power. Let me know how it works out for ya bro! Cheers!!

    If you call amsoil and follow the oil instruction it's for lawn equipment low rpm which is why they have dominator but our engines are dif then dirt bike engines and other lawn equipment cause you have much higher rpm in fixed gear I listen to the engine builders thats what I tell new guys talk to your engine builders and run what they recommend! But every one has there preference and ultimately there our engines we can all do what we wish but for the green guys coming into the hobby best to start with more oil! Cool see old can oil! Hope you enjoy your new alx engine one day should also try rcmax or taylor rc you won't be disappointed 🙏

    • @TMRperformance
      @TMRperformance 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s extremely inaccurate information. Saber is NOT lawn equipment oil. We have an Amsoil rep that has been with Amsoil for many many years and has stated to us long at that it’s not lawn equipment oil . Some asshat paid an Amsoil rep to be on his video claiming it’s for lawn equipment, but that’s horseshit . For marketing purposes Amsoil pushes dominator , i have an early bottle of Amsoil that clearly states on the bottle that it’s for dirt bikes , go karts , atv’s etc. then to promote more dominator they removed all of that from the bottle. It also used to say on the saber bottle that it would not void any manufacturers warranty AND if there were any failures from their oil that they cover the repair . We will have to get that bottle on video to debunk the bullshit. We have proven this oil’s superiority despite what any label or TH-cam asshat pays someone to say .

      I called amsoil my self never seen any videos on it any way I'll stick to dirtbike oil and listen to my engine builder which is best advice which we should all be pushing just like you did for him but for the new guys to learn it's better to listen to the people who build the engine for you or use your instruction manual that comes with your rc if you want to later experiment with dif oil methods after you learn and get experience then go ahead do as you will!

    • @TMRperformance
      @TMRperformance 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jerseyjasongasrc2576 sounds like you should Definitely stick to your methods because that’s all they are is your methods . Your oil research is poor and lacking and if you actually did speak to a rep , he gave you answers based off your questions which i can guarantee we’re not those of which would support your decision in the oil preferred. The original label that has the same formula as it has now clearly states the opposite of anything any internet article of nonsense will read . And you can bet your ass Amsoil will NOT say that Their old label was misleading nor that the saber they are selling now won’t work as the old label states . And it’s funny you should mention builders , i happen to be personal extremely close with one of the very well known names in rc engines . 😁. And like i said , that older label will be posted on this channel for the know it all’s .
