​@eastsiderc right before it ran low on go juice it started making a little bit of power. That may not be a fast engine but as you have it now it would be fine for short course dirt off road racing, with the stock gearset.

@thatoneguy2756 hey brother I agree! It was sooooo humid 83% that evening it was very hard to get that high cleaned up . That engine kept running in and it was not liking the fuel I wanted to give it lol. These stock engines want hardly any fuel in this heat. My modded TMR engines will take gobs of fuel ⛽️ in this heat and still make great power but they are really opened up and done right. This 36 is not done right by the Chinese but it runs okay for what it is. Its out on on the workbench now! The TMR 50 is going in! And the car is getting its full transformation! @@thatoneguy2756stock gears out of turns my get a bit Squirrley I would probably try 1856s if I was going to race it to soften that takeoff just a tad. This engine would get eaten alive, though racing being bone stock and not done right. When you look closely at this engine on the inside and looking through the ports with the piston at TDC you can see a major screw up lol. These Rovan engines are just slapped together to run and thats it. The dual rings bro were beaten so bad when they put this thing together they looked as if they were hit with a hammer 😂😂. They clearly fought it putting it together. Thats why it would not even idle before. It only ran because of the two rings , one single ring from the dual ring piston wouldnt even seal the engine to run it 😂😂! Junk brother dang junk lol.

Sure I did It just over reved and made no more performance. It was sooo hot and sooo humid no good power was going to be made. Plus this is a brand new chinese engine that maybe makes 4 horsepower ran in. But it was a turd 💩. Compared to what Im used to. Thanks for watching

@@eastsiderc This is one time i think 25-1 and 93 octane even though 2 -stroke don't recognize octane it would have had more power. it looked like it was doing 30-35 tops.

Listen to it at the end I finally clean it up. The high was at 1 1/2 out I didnt wanna lean it anymore than that.. It was rich its so humid she was not wanting fuel. It was also getting a little air from the tank I let the fuel get way to low in the tank.

Agreed! How ever that is a similar styled one in my 38. The billet easy starts are much better and you can also try RV85311 its cheap from fearless rc . You will need the flywheel with the center piece milled down to accept the easy start pawl assembly . Its all a very cheap set up and worth a try bro. I hope that help you out man. Yessir you saw the last short! A few teeth down did it. However brother it was sooooooooo humid and kept getting more humid as the evening went on that the engine was not wanting fuel. I had to lean it so much I finally said no more leaning but it could have been leaned more because it was just not getting the air it could with 83% humidity, air so thick you could cut it with a knife. However it made decent power and went much faster and got the tires bald lol. Gonna work in getting the two vids merged with explanation in between and show both gear sets so we can get this monster truck build brother! Wait till you see these sick nasty beef cake tires I got hahaha! And Im painting this widly!!!

Yup dont try n pull these tall gears it wont do it. I got 19/55 on there now Im gonna try it later today when the sun goes down and see if she will peak with that gear set. If it can’t pull those, then I’m just gonna take the engine out. Sit it on the shelf and start this new build. I’m tired of waiting. I can’t wait to get it started.

You aint telling me anything I dont know! This car will be lighter than my stock MAX T . The dog bones will not fit inside forever cups. The ball ends are too big.. my other car I’ve had for a long time and I’ve run it many times and I’ve never snapped anything. If you set stuff up right things don’t break. And you are correct that is a chainsaw cylinder head on that engine. This car will be heavy but not heavier than a stock one which is 40 pounds.

There are two different FLM forever cups. The one you are thinking of that does not fit is the one with 5 mm pins that has a smaller ball size.The other flm forever cups that have a bigger bore size runs 4mm drive pins. If you like, I can post a video showing flm forever cups on 710 Max dog bone as what I use. I do not run these 710 max shocks as I use irc shocks, so i have a lot less of an angle on my dog bones. I do have a video showing this on my 5B Max, but I can do for you is do another video showing the correct flm forever cups to go on the dog bones you are using.

Because it dont make enough power to pull those gears 22/52 is 5 gear sets above stock . No stock engine can pull these nicely except big bores. My modded engines are a different story
