XL can be ran in any type of car.
The XL is designed for extended drain intervals 12000 miles one year

Yup that's the one going in to my 2 strokes water pump and my snow blower. It's very low smoke oil.

What you really want is Maxima formula K2 mixed 32:1. Your bearings will thank you!

I buy 100LL avgas from the local airport for my 2 stroke and atv engines. No worry of the fuel going bad in 3-4 weeks like the 10% ethanol gas pump fuel does. My chainsaws can sit for a year with the 100LL mixed 80:1 with Saber and they’ll start right up. Saber and no ethanol gas are key

Yeah it's amazing how much power the car is made back then my 59 Cadillac what that used to run in that thing made 325 horsepower 430 lb of torque way back in 1959
100LL is a gross fuel. You really don’t want to use it unless you HAVE to. Besides the health concerns of lead poisoning yourself from the exhaust you also have to worry about lead fouling the rings, lead buildup and deposits in the oil and the coating that deposits on the bottom of the plane. As the guy who changes the oil on our airplane and cleans the belly I can’t wait for aviation rated 100 unleaded. The one that just got approved by GAMI has a great shelf life just like 100ll.

I’ve been watching a lot of reviews & tests showing Stihl Ultra is horrible inside the engine. I’ve been using my bottles for 2yrs from when I bought the units for the longer warranty 🙄. So I dumped the Ultra & bought Echo Red Armor (known for cleaning ability) I’ll mix at 40:1. I’m going to run it for 6 months, then Il’ll switch to AMSOIL Sabre at 80:1, which the ope mechanics have a consensus is the absolute best oil & ratio for it. The long term tear down units were oiled & sparkling clean.

Ethonal shield is ASS I used it in my dirtbike and it fouled spark plugs left and right even on the right ratio!
Probably destroyed the cylinder, piston and piston ring on the non ams oil trimmer. Definitely not going to run my fuel mix this thin in my pro series Stihl or Husqvarna engines.

1000:1 for 500ml of gas is 0.5ml which is 1.6 pinch.

The Sabre worked better but it looked like the one with AMSOIL was shaking a more on the ground.
Yeah I really don't know why that would be all I can think is it was making a lot more compression I may have damaged the other motor on the previous video which you'll see I ran them at 192 1 and then I ran them at about 381 to 1
I will not touch the motors at all after this last video I will be disassembling them and doing a full inspection to show what it looks like inside
I think they both have overheating sensors on the motors and that's why the Amsoil one shut off is because it triggered the sensor

Great question I just went with my gut kind of one of the feel it out as I went and see how they sounded.
Really surprising midway through how much better the Amsoil one was running a lot more power more compression just way better

Hey Eben, I got a new, small suv. Tiny four-cylinder SUV. It says to use 0W20, but I've read that those oil recommendations are only to meet CAFE standards by the manufacturer, and that in a place that is hot all year like where I live, it might be better to use 5W20 to prevent wear at operating temp. I always de-activate the auto-stop/start when I drive, and I assume they want the 0w for constant on/off of the ignition with that feature for cold climates. Do you think 5w20 makes more sense in a hot climate assuming the auto stop/start is always off? And yes, I plan to AmsOil 'er. Got the catalog and all ~

Yes I would use the 5w 20 is good it's not a huge difference with Amsoil but yeah the 5w 20 will hold up a little bit better in the high heat

With out a teardown or even an oil swap i can't believe the oil is the difference. Especially because your claiming thermal runaway on an air-cooled engine that's not even under load and only 350f on the exhaust.
If you want to say the rings are losing their seal i might more Believe that. But 350f due an air cooled engine isn't that bad. For exhaust temps.

@@Syntheticoilprotection I found that brand in a leaf blower the cylinder was one piece with the engine block and I could not remove the piston to free up stuck ring. Hopefully the cylinders come off on your weed whackers so we can see what the pistons and cylinders look like for that next video. Good luck

You can 100% use the oil at 100:1. I have an entire landscape company using it at 100:1 for the past year. No issues.

i have to get my brain it metric for this, bc where i am, we use mostly 40 to 1 or 50 to 1 which just means you have 40 times more gas than oil.
Yeah this one is a thousand to one so it's 1 ml to 1 L of gasoline.
There is approximately 1000 ml in 1 L

Yeah the OEM ratio is 40 to 1 with this weed wacker and with Amsoil saber you can run a hundred to one and have more protection than running the OEM oil
