@@pcman3158 These are a cheap sleeve. If this is your price point then there aren't a great deal of options. But a few extra dollars/pounds will give you a dragonshield matte or an ultra pro eclipse sleeve, which are pretty decent. For shuffling specifically, Gamegenic Matte Primes scored highest in our testing, but they are not a tough sleeve and foils look pretty terrible in them. Sorry I can't give a straight forward answer 😅
I'm not sure what to use between the glossy and the matte version. I wamt to sleeve a big board game with maybe 10 foil cards/1000cards total. Since theres a lot of cards, should I go with the matte version for easier shuffling and less slipery stacking?
I don't want to invest more since I dont think its much worth it. (If I go with DS I double the price) (They offer good protection and i'll buy an extra pack for broken sleeve)
Ultimately these sleeves are not unusable. Depending on what is required in the game, some of the factors will be different in your purchasing decision. If price is a key factor then these are a great solution, Matt being almost always a slightly better option if super shiny foils isn't overly important. 👍
@@DoubleSleeved foil isnt that important since its like 10 card, but I dont think ita worth to sleeve in higher quality since the the game dosent required a constant shuffling
Fantastic video, and super helpful that you also reviewed the matte sleeves so they could be compared by look and quality. Would you happen to know how well these would work with cardboard tiles instead of cards? I was looking into getting some 53x53mm sleeves for tiles that are 51x51mm. From what you said, these did great with even 10 cards in 1 sleeve so I’m assuming they would work fine with a tile piece. I was just wondering if you had any experience with something like that. Thanks!
Thank you 😊😊 That is a tough one. We specifically look at tcgs so don't have access to tiles. However, as you observed, you can fit a lot of cards in the sleeves if you try. Depending on the fit you required on the tiles I would expect a few mm would be able to squeeze some tiles in, of the tiles are a few mm thick you should be ok. 😊
Hi, just sleeves are a separate thing. They are different and a more budget version. I believe we have done some just sleeve reviews but not 100% if we have done them all. 😄
Hi, i have one question. Do you think the sleeves (Gamegenic/Prime Board Game Sleeves - Tarot (73 x 122mm)) have enough room to put a Pokemon booster pack in it?
We don't have any in stock, so we will order them. Researching it is possible, but I as they do not seal the benefit may be limited. There are other 'team bags' that ultra Pro do that will suit better but will be more expensive.
One issue I have with those sleeves is that even if I push the card to the bottom, the card will ride out pretty quickly. Like the top mm of the card will be exposed and so you are constantly trying to push back the card. I would not recommend those sleeves for valuable cards.
Do you mean just a card in the sleeve and not inner sleeved? This is not something we have noticed in our testing but everyone's experiences can vary for sure. Thank you for sharing that with everyone to help their purchasing decision 😀👍
@@DoubleSleeved Yeah only the card in the sleeve, no inner sleeve. I bought 2 of those packs, at a different time and place, and it happened with both. It's strange as they are recommended by FFG.
@@guillaumepoulin8188 Same exact experience for me, plus the sleeves that came in one of the two packs that I bought were definitely cut slanted on the top. Without a doubt the worst sleeves I ever bought, which is weird because their Just Sleeves value pack on the other hand are very good, thinner, wider but better for sure.
Thank you so much for the review! I was looking for sleeves for my binder cards and now I've found it!
Awesome! So pleased we could help! Make sure to let us know how you find them if you get some! 😊
Helpful video, no fluff, lots of good information
Thank you. That is our aim. 😊👍
i really like these sleeves. use them all the time. not always the most cost effective though...
Not always? Why do you say that? Seem to be a pretty decent price for 200.
@@DoubleSleeved sometimes I cant afford them lol
That's completely understandable. It's a tough decision of accessories or more cards!
@@DoubleSleeved What would be similar choice with better shuffling?

That makes a lot of sense. Sounds like you've sorted that out then 😊
Wow amazing review, bravo 🙌🏼
Thank you. We try our best. We are pleased you enjoyed it and maybe found it useful 😊

Hello ! :-) Do you know if this sleeves pack is the same as the "Gamegenic Just Sleeves: Standard Card Game Value Pack: Clear (250)" ?

Well. That's a great question. We haven't tested this, and so cannot give a good answer. 😕 Let me have a look into it.
