I have to confess a big part of watching your videos is you. You’re such a joy to watch and so perfectly show how much fun all of this is to do. Thank you for sharing the way you do.
When you are selecting the objects you just scanned in, make use of the "ignore objects" button. If the object you want is 1", adjust the ignore amount slightly less then 1". This will eliminate all the little marks the scanner picks up.
Courtney, Thank you so much!!!!! I've been waiting for the making sticker tutorial to make my granddaughter stickers. Now I can finally make stickers for her and myself, the correct way.
Wowzer…Courtney…U did it again👏👏👏… i will rewatch to reinforce 🧐. My scan n cut machine is new to me… i am so excited with the many opportunities to continue learning the various techniques of this machine!
Thank you so much! I've been trying to find a good video on doing stickers on the scan n cut and yours is the BEST! I really enjoy your videos- you explain everything so well - thank you!
I have a Cricut for cutting stickers for my shop and I absolutely hate it. The reflective sticker paper has caused me so much suffering, and even just cutting matte paper has had the cuts go completely bonkers and ruin the project regardless of how many times I calibrate the machine. (and scream and cry for it to work this time) You video however, covers all the issues I was concerned about and was very informative. You've completely sold me on getting this machine, thank you for such a detailed explanation!
Really cute stickers thanks for the tutorial Courtney, I like the border stickers the best. Love the sticker paper holographic color. Can’t wait to see what you do next
I absolutely LOVE your energy, Courtney! Your videos are awesome! These are so freaking cute. I'm going to make stickers for my kiddos! Thanks so much!
Love this sticker video.😊 I make stickers too, I generally use the half cut now because of a new scan n cut machine. I love the idea of using the holographic paper. I have never used that so now it is on my list. Nice work around. Generally, when I do a shiny paper just put shiny side down. However not with the sticker making. Love what you did. Have a great Memorial Day. Thanks for the time you take to show us something new.☺
So glad I found this video!! I love your teaching style! Subscribing! I ordered a Brother ScanNcut it'll be here tomorrow, I'm so excited! Oh and I like the stickers with the border 😊
I clip the individual pics and drop them on a MS Word page (Narrow Margin settings) and move them around to so that I can optimize my scrap so there is not the excessive waste, then I print on the sticker paper. Before I cut I use Krylon UV spray (let dry) so it gives the stickers some water resistance and they do not fade in the sun.
Hi Courtney thanks for a very informative video. I have just bought a CM900 -old I know- but a lot of the tips I feel I can use too. I am very new to this type of crafting and am excited to learn about it. Many thanks. I had heard that you can cut images from DSP (Designer Paper) so will have to keep searching for a video on that topic.
Hello Courtney. I just recently found your video channel. Excellent information! When you are scanning in your images, you can change the scan area. That may be especially helpful when you are using the 24" mat.
Love your videos ! Do you have a link to make business card/ logos. I have felt so lost trying to learn how to use this machine! Love your teaching style!
Hi Courtney, I'm a new subscriber and new to Brother Scan N Cut, although I've had it for some time now. It's just been so intimidating to use, but I'd like to learn how to make stickers. I have a question, and it may seem silly. Can you upload pictures into the Scan n Cut that you like to turn into stickers and put a blank sheet of paper on the mat and make several stickers from the picture you uploaded onto the blank paper? I hope I'm wording it correctly. Also, thank you so much for your tutorial!
Hi Courtney, I purchased some sticker paper from Amazon (Stampcolour) before I had my ScanNcut and when I tried it, the parts of the backing of the sticker paper came off on my Low Tack board, not like paper tearing but like a layer of cake icing getting stuck on the board (Just saw your tip on using Totally Awesome so I hope that cuts down on the time I need to spend to save my tack board) and the ScanNcut didn't even cut through all the way through the sticker either on 1/2 cut or full cut. The stickers did say Premium Printable Vinyl Sticker Paper,Transparent 10 Clear Self-Adhesive Sheets,No-Waterproof,Dries Quickly Vivid Colors Decal Paper,Tear Resistant, 80 Microns. I would like to ask the community what brand have they had success with?
Courtney, i want to cut out stickers that have no black lines. The machine is not cutting the whole picture out. It is trying to cut out individual pieces? Help! Love your tutorials!
can i ask as i have a cricut and thinking of getting a brother one i make my stickers in photoshop and i put the white border around them in photoshop as i get a much smoother look. Am i right in thinking that when printed the brother machine will not see thos white borders as basically they are invisible? with cricut it knows they are there...or can the brother software on the pc see the white borders
Hi Courtney, love your videos! Do you use the print to cut registrated marks (activation) Is this needed or is it for older models?:) Thank you! -Lily❤
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Brother SDX125, and I’ve been searching extensively (across the USA, UK, and Germany) for the **CAPSKIT1** kit, only to find out it’s been **discontinued**. I even reached out to **Brother customer service**, but they couldn’t suggest any **replacement kit** that would let me **print images, logos, or photos on sticker paper and cut them using the machine**. I find it hard to believe that Brother would discontinue such a useful kit without offering a proper replacement. So, my question is: **Is there an alternative kit or method available that would allow me to achieve the same results (printing images/logos and cutting them accurately on my SDX125)?** Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

What a clever work around with scanning the images separate Courtney! You're a genius!!!
Thank you Joanne. You're still the best! - Courtney

Do you have a video on how you created your cut lines. I followed your step by sype and it cut all the text inside the design instead of an offset.
Love your videos ! Do you have a link to make business card/ logos. I have felt so lost trying to learn how to use this machine! Love your teaching style!
Have you tried using printable vinyl sticker paper?

Thank you for this wonderful video! Very informative. Just a question how do you change the color from pastel to brights?
I much prefer the borders. I always do that whether I’m using my SNC or my Cricut Maker. 😊
Thx for sharing! Can the stickers also be used outroors (Ink - rain etc.)?
Could you make magnetic bookmarks with the scan n cut?
Can I colour a stamp with an alcohol marker on glossy or holographic paper? Love your videos!!

Can you print magnetic paper?

Even though you have a 12x24 mat you could have put in 12x12 since you weren't using your whole mat. It didn’t need to scan the whole thing.
I forgot to tell you I do like the bordered ones.
