Hi you have to be the most positive and happy person on Utube that provides videos for CWS, Artspira, and of course Scan and cut. You are a very good instrcutor. I say that with some experience of being a US Army Training instructor for Artillery Software and a daily trainer of line unit soldiers.. Great job everything I watch one of your videos.

I am very new to Brothers ScanNCut2 I received it as a gift just 2 weeks ago. I have been watching your tutorial to learn how to use it. You are a very good teacher. I used the same owl image you have and followed your instructions. You are so easy to understand that I was able to do everything all the way to saving the image to my computer. I have a laptop with Windows 10. I was doing so good until I tried to open the file I saved as a fcm. It keeps asking me "how do you want to open this file?". I tried all the different choices but I still could not open the save file. Could you help me please?

So did the grouped owl cut as one piece and you colored it or did it cut each piece and you layered it on the whole owl?
And don't you have to ungroup to cut the pieces?

I tried to download the owl image from shutter stock and ran into problems. First, after clicking on the "visit" button, I was redirected to a url that wanted me to download the app "unzippy". Since you thought it was ok to download files from that website I went ahead and downloaded and installed unzippy. Them my mac gave me several unwanted programs like Opera and WOW.com and some app for cleaning up my Mac. I finally got rid of all of those unwanted programs. Is there a safe way to download free images from shutter stock?

I am trying to do this, but she seems to have a totally different tabs and options on her screen, mine looks nothing like hers to edit that out. I can import an image, but that is it. The company logo has a square around it (like the owl) and I tried calling customer service, they told me this can't be done, and I need to do a bunch of experimental projects before I try to make a tablecloth logo for my company, she then sent me an email and then hung up on me. Honestly, I asked for a Cricut for Christmas, but my husband wanted to get me this instead. He said I could do more with it, I haven't been able to do anything I wanted to do with it, it's nothing like what the videos are showing me. Everyone I know has a Cricut, so I can't even reach out to friends for help. I feel like my husband wasted his money, and I still didn't get what I was aiming for. I am so disappointed I spent all this money on rolls upon rolls of vinyl and heat transfer that are just going to sit there.

This seems like the only way to reach you people at BROTHER regarding your videos for the DESIGN 'n' Cut (COMMENTS THERE are BLOCKED!!!). P-L-E-A-S-E, for the sake of us quarantined folks -- PURCHASERS of YOUR PRODUCTS -- re-do the videos you made for the DESIGN 'n' Cut WITH A CLOSE-UP "WINDOW" IN THE UPPER CORNER!!!!! Even in expanded mode it's tough for us "low vision" people to discern WHAT the presenter is tapping on. And I have YET to find a CONCISE, step-by-step procedure check list to tell me HOW to cut out an image. What are the STEPS. And, are there truly 2 ways to get a cut out? (Ie., One: NOTHING on the page but the machine cuts "outlines" anyway -- OR -- Two: An image is present and the machine "knows" where to cut around the image? On this last one (if true), can we select HOW FAR from the edge we want to cut? Will the machine cut PRECISELY AT the edge, with no border outside the line? See, LOTS of questions but BROTHER doesn't seem to have an "answer person" for us DESIGN folks!!! P-L-E-A-S-E H-E-L-P!!!!
