Hello Courtney👋👏. Oh boy… i know you provide us with excellent tips and advice…i now know to make a little note book and keep with machine with all of your advice😉. You are awesome! Sure wish i lived closer for a face to face class…but I continue to grow in my new found knowledge of scan n cut from each of the videos you present thank you so much.
I have the CM 100. And dx230di. And it’s frustration that brother changes stuff so drastically, don’t get me wrong, love the Bluetooth capability. (Game changer). But sometimes I have to go to my old machine to get a task done then go back!
Thank you for doing this video. I just purchased a new blade for my holder so I'm glad you showed how to use the spatula to remove and install the blade. 😀
Hi Courtney, thank you for your honesty and this is why I bought my dx325 and accessories from Allbrands. Customer service care Staff are very helpful and professional. 😊
Thank you for the informative video. Being new to the scan n cut machine world, I purchased the SDX85. Have another brand of cutting machine so I thought I'd try one with scanning capability. Although the SDX325 seems to be an excellent machine, it doesn't fit my budget. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed with my purchase.
Do it! I didn't get my very first machine out of the box for a couple of months, this was way back when Scan n Cut arrived in the UK 2012 or something. I did hardly anything at first, but, I do so much now.
hello courtney im from the uk, i just got a sdx1200 im just wondering wether u know if can do wood cutting on this and if so what wood to recommend please
Thanks for this helpful clip! I have one question: Is it possible to edit the vector cut lines in the SDX software itself by adding or moving single vector points? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello I need your advice. I brought the wrong mats for my Scan n Cut and didn't realize until it was to late to return them. I have had them over a year now but I would like to give them away. They are for the CM model. Do you know of any one I can give them to or should I just put them in the trash?
You are not suppose to have a favorite child :( . I do have a question: I was trying to make some Avenger stickers I had downloaded and printed on sticker paper. I did a scan and cut and it made the character into a dozen objects, I tried welding and it tells me it cannot because they are over lapping. I scanned it into the scanner and tried to use the software provided and still could not. Can you show me how to weld overlaping objects. Thanks!
Hi Courtney, I'm trying to figure out which machine would work for me. Is there a single chart listing all the machines with pros and cons of each? I couldn't find it on All Brands site. Thanks.
My SDX85 is cutting too far to the right of my stamped image. (It has a white border on the right side of the image BUT cuts inside the left line. Is there a way to adjust the 'registration? I don't think the 85 has 'shift ' does it?
Hi I don’t know if this will help you. There is a TH-cam video called Brother scan N cut tips and tricks aligning your scan N cut, by Papered chef. She states all scan N cuts ...have the ability to adjust.
Actually, you are incorrect about the blades. You can use CM blades in a SDX, I've used both the manual and auto blade holders and blades. I haven't tried the other way around. My first time doing HTV I forgot to do the half cut, never made that booboo again. Another mistake is if you want to draw a design that you've created in Canvas and sent to your machine make sure it's set to draw because if you haven't then the screen on your machine will be blank when you set it to draw, a heartstopping moment and you have to go back to Canvas and reset it draw before retransferring to your machine, that's the mistake I make most often.

Hi have you cut stacked layers of fabric by basting the layers.
Wish I would’ve saw this before I bought my machine lol but Christmas is coming might buy me a Christmas present lol a different machine 😊
Can you direct me to your “welding” tutorial? Thank you 🙏
❤ new subscriber love this type of videos I’m looking foward to buy the scan and cut will be my first but still have no clue what machine yet ❤
We recommend the SDX325 it is by far the most popular model. - Barbara

I have a cm model
Do you have a video for the CM550?
Can the scan and cut cut through cork and fake leather?

Which model would you recommend to cut quilting patches
Do you recommend a low tack mat for paper scanning or cutting?
I still have a working cm model

Hi Carolyn, We're looking for one now.
Hi.
I have a new CM300.
What mats do I need?
Thanks
Dear Courtney can I take a design from the scanncut and transfer it via usb to my dream machine for embroidery?????
Your Dream could send to the ScanNCut but the ScanNCut could not send back. The Luminaire and Stelairie machines can do both ways. - Courtney
I wish I had waited because I got the dx230d seem like several machines have come out since then. 😢
Just the SDX325 and SDX330 but your machine is still one of the best! Anything with a auto blade is always leaps ahead. - Courtney
