Mixed Media with Ransom Note-Style Text!!!

OK, so I used a lot of really cool techniques in this video!
I have had this idea in my head for some time now, that I wanted to try to use magazine image transfer to make ransom note-style letter blocks that I could then use in my mixed media collage.
I had no idea if it was going to work! (Anyone who’s tried magazine image transfer knows that it works when it feels like it, lol, which is not very often. 🤣🤣🤣)
I was so pleased that I got it to work, at least enough for this project! I hope you give it a try for yourself!

A truly fantastic art piece. I always learn something from your channel. Appreciate the explanation of the matte gel. I think I’m watching too many videos because I keep going out and buying more stuff then finding stuff in my stash. I’m looking at a growing collection of mediums on my desk . I have gesso down pretty well. I now have both the clear and white matte gel mediums. I also have matte Modge Podge and some Lumin Airte medium acrylic Medium (that’s what the bottle says) to mix with pigment powders. That’s a lot of mediums.
