I feel the same way about the titanium white when I knock things back or add it to my pieces! Love when others do it but just never feels right with me! I have started to use titanium buff that I really like! It’s softer and a bit warmer I feel like. I see myself using this in just about everything! Yes yes and yes to imposter syndrome and the wandering with each piece!

What kind of paper are you printing the ink jet on?

Such a great video- I've not seen this technique of image transfer. So cool! I have a laser printer myself and still don't have consistent success with transfers. I think I will try this method with it. Thanks so much for the share and for trying it out so many ways- gives us so many great ideas of ways to play!

I got home from running errands and said, “Ooh! Melissa will have posted her video by now!” I couldn’t wait to watch! Thank you so much for doing this video. I had heard the exact same things that you did, and hadn’t had the energy to do this experiment myself! Knowing that we can do an inkjet transfer, it also tells me I can photocopy a magazine page on an inkjet, when that magazine page doesn’t have the right ink to transfer on its own. I’ve been running into that lately as well. Older mags transfer great but many newer ones don’t.

Why did you put so much space between the dark figure and the two light figure? Is there an artistic reason or something else? The far left white figure has a hood reminiscent of the KKK.
