About the cruise, you're going to absolutely LOVE New England and Canada during October!! We've been spending every other summer in Maine (1,700 mile drive) It's so beautiful, I can't imagine it in the autumn! Bring a warm coat and t-shirts! It's impossible to know what the weather will be one day to the next!

I would love to see a project on a smallish canvas using your techniques, like an 8x10”. This would allow us to perhaps display some art work in our craft rooms. And I absolutely love dimension. And, I would definitely love to hear more about this cruise you speak of. I have been following for many, many years and would love to meet you and learn from you in person!🥰
the link is in the description! The cruise is 9 days and 3 out of the 9 are without stops.. on these days we will be crafting. 3 mixed media classes by me and 3 by Farrel. Then on the days with ports we can all go and be tourists together! Fun!!!

It's the same process for canvas. Just glue the folded edges over the sides instead of trimming.

I love the Mixed Media Tuesday projects and am so glad you'll be doing them. I primarily make cards but these projects are such a refreshing break and remind me that I've got numerous journals with lots of empty pages. Thank you for continuing to inspire me.

Vicky, this was awesome. Reminds me of some of your old are mixed media pages that you had done before. Also really like the fact that you didn’t give a specific set of supplies to be purchased but it was use what you have and your techniques are awesome thank you!!

Vicky your two page spread is absolutely stunning. I love that rice paper. Blues are my favorite colors so I really love this. This would be such a beautiful home decor piece on a canvas. I would really like to get into this type of mixed media, but I want minimal supplies.

Vicky, that's lovely! I do like Stamperia's rice paper. i didn't have a place to put it, when I the first few sheets, but recently i put some time into the craft room and found I a nice little collection. With those and Tim Holtz's 6" tissue rolls, plus a couple of his older, larger ones, i have lots to choose from. And I like using the for backgrounds. Such a great jumping off point!

This turned out so beautiful! I love how all the little touches work together to make such a great finished product. I would love to see you do something like this on a canvas or a cradled board to hang on the wall.
