The ice-bath Lucy was taking is basically water-cooling for Netrunning. There are also specialised Netrunning chairs that do the same thing, but not all Netrunners use them for a variety of reasons (with cost probably being a major one).

The gang that kidnapped Rebecca are called Maelstrom, they're a bunch of psychopaths who augment themselves to the point of being more machine than human but I can't help but like them. Unlike some other factions they don't pretend to be better than they really are.
Yup. The guys with the holomasks are the Scavs. The worst of the worst. At least Maelstrom can be bargained with. Gangoons in NC are an...interesting bunch.
@@thedarkstarr11 Scavs are kill on sight. 6th Street are probably my second most hated gang because of the hypocrisy. Only real good gangs are The Mox and arguably The Animals.
The bar that David snuck Rebecca into is the Afterlife. It is THE preem bar in NC for edgerunners and fixers. It's run by the older lady with the yellow shirt and grey hair, Rogue (Rogue Amendiares), one of THE best solos in NC aside from Shaitan, Morgan Blackhand and Adam Smasher. The edgerunners who end up dead, and do so in legendary fashion get a drink named after them. Like NC Legend Johnny Silverhand, to name one. Silverhand had to blow up the first Arasaka Tower to get HIS drink. So being accepted in there means you are hitting the big time.
EDIT: For the record, Maine and Becca are Solos. Pilar is a Techie. Lucy and Kiwi are Netrunners. David is still figuring out his place, but with his Sandy, he's probably going to be a Solo.
