    Just installed them on the front of my XJ. Smooth on the pavement, but I have not been able to test them on the trails as of yet.

      @@arielvela4262 I have been very pleased with them. I would recommend them. I still have them and they still ride great.

      @@SkyjackerSuspensions so far so smooth but I had to change the bottom "dowel pin" because it was too short. I took the old ones from the old shocks and put them in the new shocks and fit fine.

    I have a question man ? I own a rwd/2wd mega cab 1500 megacab basically a 2500 frame. I’m currently running the 2.5 coils from maxtrac. The lifted the front but it still sags about 1.5 inches lower than the back. I’m still running stock wheels and tires 17x8 on 265/70/17. I’m running the maxtrac shocks that were made for that lift. The shocks are shot and need replacing so I plan on getting the m95. However my rubber insulator was bad. So I saw you guys offer a 1.5 polyurethane spacer. Will it work with the coils ? The shock will still have about 7 inches travel. It’ll bring up the front level to the rear

      What's the year and model of the truck? And typically, our spacers are designed to fit the bone stock factory vehicle, and we couldn't say it would fit other companies' springs. Feel free to call our customer service at 318-388-0816, and we can get you squared away.

    How does it hold tension if it can be compressed by hand? If it gets compressed out on the road how does it decompress to hold its suspension to the ground?

      It doesn't. Look up reviews on these.

    • @SkyjackerSuspensions
      @SkyjackerSuspensions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Since Black MAX has a Foam Cell, being filled 100% with high temp shock fluid, they can be mounted either Up or Down per customer preference.

    🤔 if it can be compressed and extended by hand. Doesn't sound like a good idea for shock technology to me. I'll stick with ranchos for my 4x and kyb for my 2wd.

    Which series of shock do you recommend most for ride comfort?

    • @SkyjackerSuspensions
      @SkyjackerSuspensions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on what type of vehicle you have and your usage. We recommend our Black MAX shock if you use a light-duty truck, and if you have a heavy-duty truck, we recommend our M95 Monotube shock. If you have any more questions and want to speak to one of our tech support, feel free to call us at 318-388-0816.

      @@SkyjackerSuspensions so I was doing my research and I read a bunch of forums that hydraulic is always going to deliver a smother softer ride due to it not returning and instead letting the coils work while the gas charged are compressed and give a much stiffer I think you said for towing and heavy duty stuff n95 is better, because it has charged. I don’t tow at all. i daily my truck and I’m actually looking to have a smooth riding truck. So I’m really interested in the black max. Would that shock be my best choice for daily and smooth rides ? Hydraulic ?

    • @SkyjackerSuspensions
      @SkyjackerSuspensions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@6nzchencho752 We apologize for just now responding to your comment. If you want a smooth ride, we recommend using a gas-powered shock on heavier-duty trucks, as hydraulic shocks will give you too much bounce. If you have a light-duty truck, then the BlackMax shock would be the way to go unless you do a lot of towing with that.
