Hello Ray, to my knowledge this bike doesn't have a 6 axis IMU. Also it is made in India and not in Italy unfortunately. That's why all the Indian based youtube guys got it first months ago. Love your videos and thanks for the content you create. I think you are the first to review this bike in the US.
Fortunately this is made in India that is why many people can afford it. Otherwise you understand. Aprillia knows that well. Made in India means affordable with quality. Very few country can do that in2024.idiot.😊
@@shankarmondal3518 When i think of India, i think of disgusting food, smelly and noisy dudes. Yeah, fortunately you guys knows how to build quality motorcycles.
Here in the Philippines, It was just launched Yesterday August 5, 2024 around 4:57 PM starts at 348,000 pesos and Racing version is up to 358k I guess. But I really love the RS660
Wow! I was looking through both Italian and English content on this model and nothing really stood up, until I came there 👍🏻 Also the colour scheme looks fantastic, hope they have it also here in Italy and I'll be able to get my hands on that beauty 🇮🇹
I was finally waiting on you to do a review on this bike. I was wondering what you think would be a better beginner bike for an all round/ track beginner bike. Aprilia RS 457 or Kawasaki Ninja 500 SE? Love your channel and everything you do Ray! keep up the great work
Yippee, I want this bike. I was torn in between the Ninja 500 SE and thus bad mamma jamma. I was also checking out the CBR 650, and that bike is a monster too. But, I’m more than likely am going with the Aprilla 457, it just makes sense. The price, and all the gravy that comes with it. You rock Ray.
If you can afford it pay the difference and get the Aprilia, if you want something that's great but a little cheaper get the Kawasaki 500 Ninja. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Anymore questions give me a shout.
I'm in love with the white one, and the price is quite competitive. The only downside is that it's made in India (that's my concern). But we'll see, it's new on the market after all. Nice vid btw.

Hey Ray! I was looking at getting this bike as an upgrade to my current Yamaha MT03. Comparing the bikes, in your opinion is it worth it to “upgrade” going from 321cc to 457cc? Is there a big power and speed difference between the two? I’d probably make the purchase if there were, but if not I might make the jump to the 660. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated!!! 2025? How? I haven’t gotten my 2024 rs 457. Same color. I placed the order back in November. 😢 I haven’t gotten any update since June after being told they started shipping out to their respected dealerships. I live in Hawaii. 😢
Im trying to decide between this Aprilia and the Cbr500r. I want to lean towards the aprilia for the better looks and tech specs, but since I've been driving honda cars for years, hondas are somewhat bulletproof when it comes to motor longevity. Idk anything about Aprilias holding that kind of reputation, and that's where im torn 😞😞 if someone can help who has owned both that would be well appreciated 🙏
The 500cc parallel twin by Honda is well proven worldwide, has been there since decades. Aprilia's new engine in RS457 is recently developed and is fairly new for anyone to comment about it's reliability and it is being manufactured in India. Only plus point is they are manufacturing it themselves here in India, instead of relying on a local manufacturer.
I love your videos, so please keep them firing out. I want to share two negatives on the Aprilia 457. First, in 2nd gear there is this very noticeable drop between 5000 and 7000 rpms. Test drove two and both did it. The second is the one-piece triple tree. Should it be dropped, and you bent one side, you would have to replace entire thing vs just the clip-on to the hurt side. I love smaller displacement bikes and was hoping to add this one to the stable, but going to be a hard pass.
Thanks for the kind words James, I would imagine a flash is really going to wake this bike up. The triple tree thing is unfortunate- your wanting to race it huh?? Thanks for always being apart of this channel! Have a Great weekend James!!
@@RayBowdenRides it is by law the blinkers have to be visible on the side as well as the front I'm guessing they were just too small for most US state regulations
This is surely gonna be Aprilia's gateway drug to lure people into buying higher-end models. I've been looking for a bad angle on this bike and I can't find one. It looks so upscale for the price and doesn't seem like they skimped on it even if it was built in Piaggio's factory in India despite being developed in Italy. As long as it was put together properly by competent employees, in the end, place of manufacture is irrelevant. The price is so hot, way less than some Piaggio scooters. Sucks that in Puerto Rico it's gonna be over $10,000 just for the Aprilia name. The RS 660 is $*16,000. *Edit
Yes, they are making a pretty good product, but there is a definite difference in fit and finish between the Aprilia and CF MOTO. Thanks for watching and commenting, my friend. Have a great Sunday.
Take a closer look at the CF Moto 450 SR, the welds look sloppy, the swingarm looks like it was made in a garage. Plus you are supporting the CCP when you buy that. I'm not denying they are doing an excellent job capturing the market though, the new CFMoto Voom 500 looks amazing.
@@Reivbv I agree but considering the price difference plus lots of reviewers do agree that CF Motos bikes are now coming strong. More and more bikes from China are being released and even those well known vloggers are really accepting CF Moto nowadays. Dont really care about China's political issues. I am just here for the bikes and they really are awesome.
@@RayBowdenRides i dont own a CF Moto but a lot of their bikes are sold almost everywhere. Those people that review bikes agree that they are the next big thing in the motorworld.
@Champion2Manager ok. That's cool, no problem- it reminds Me of a 660 when it's being revved and riding it - sorry but it does to me. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Not that hard to understand. There are countries with very congested traffic especially in Asia. If you own a liter bike, you know how hot the bike can get at low speed and stationary position. Bikes like these are perfect if they want quality and decent power in a street with many traffic stops. Not every country has long stretch of roads like the US
@@thomasolson8417 I just thought you’d understand after reading mine. I want a small displacement bike but one that is a sport bike, has the latest tech, and looks exotic. I have lots of disposable income. What would you recommend then? Why do people buy a Cartier watch when a Casio watch can do the same thing? Why go fine dining for a $200 steak when I can go across the street to bob’s for a $20 steak when both can fill me up the same?

Test drove two and both did it. The second is the one-piece triple tree. Should it be dropped, and you bent one side, you would have to replace entire thing vs just the clip-on to the hurt side. I love smaller displacement bikes and was hoping to add this one to the stable, but going to be a hard pass.
Thanks for the kind words James, I would imagine a flash is really going to wake this bike up. The triple tree thing is unfortunate- your wanting to race it huh?? Thanks for always being apart of this channel! Have a Great weekend James!!
This bike is made in India. The first RS 457 was delivered in my city, Hyderabad, India.
Yes Sir, Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME rest of your week!!
Debating this or the Tuono 660. Afraid I'd grow bored of this pretty fast. Getting MSF next week and selling the V8 Lexus sedan.
Probably right on that one, Stay in Touch and let me know!! Have a great Sunday.
I would keep this bike in my stable forever as a track toy.
These are nice
Yes sir Alex!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Have a great Sunday.
What do you guys think is the best color way for this? That white one looks stunning :O
I love the Black with Purple stripes!
This is the best colour
Superbe ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 🏍
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻, Have a AWESOME weekend!!
What the hell, Where did those blinkers come from? Is it DMV rule to have blinkers in your country? We don't get it here in India
Yep, I believe so. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Stay in Touch and have a great rest of your week!
You don’t need them in India, nobody in India knows any traffic rules
@dutchdryfly your right from what I've seen on TH-cam. Thanks for Commenting!
The front indicators are integrated along with the DRL. Looks too cool than these hanging ones. Also, the back ones are thinner and very sleek.
@neel3297 thanks for Commenting
6799 in U.S.A😂, in canada out the Door is 9700$😳
Good to know!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻
why the external front indicators/blinkers on it ? it has integrated in the head though
Maybe a usa 🇺🇸 deal. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻
@@RayBowdenRides it is by law the blinkers have to be visible on the side as well as the front I'm guessing they were just too small for most US state regulations
@VigilanteMike Thanks for the Info, and thank you for Commenting about this!! Have a AWESOME Sunday!
Whats up Scott Kilmer? :D
Nothing much 🤣.
Bybre calipers on the rear?
That's it yes!! Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻- Have a AWESOME weekend!
@RayBowdenRides you too! What are you riding today?
Hi Ray 👋☺️
Hey Derek have a AWESOME weekend my friend!!
@@RayBowdenRides Have A Awesome Weekend 👍😊

Hey thanks for always being apart of the Channel!!! Have a AWESOME rest of your week.
The perfect beginner bike?
I think so! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a wonderful weekend!!
Its 48 bhp and 43nm torque
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
its a perfect competitor of CF Moto 450 SR. I think 450 SR has more features
@Reivbv yep no problem- THK YOU !!!
Those people that review bikes agree that they are the next big thing in the motorworld.
idk this flickering tft display is very disturbing
Yep it's because of the Camera, nothing I can do. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
Why does everyone say 2025 its the 2024 model not the 2025
The title says 2025, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
@@RayBowdenRides liked the vid no hate or anything but why do you call it the 2025 ? Its the 2024 right or am i trippin
How old are you dude
Why do you ask???

@skandabhatta1266 thk you🙏🏻,and I love Motorcycles!!
But does it sound like an RS 660?😅
I think it does , not as Deep - But Real close I think! Thanks for Watching this video High Value, Have a Great rest of your week!
Ray if you say it sounds like a rs660 one more time I'm done watching this video... please don't say it..4:52 in..
Sorry about that, I thought it sounds just like a 660, Thanks for Commenting though. Maybe I'm wrong- sorry about that my friend.
@@RayBowdenRidesit doesn’t sound like a stock RS660 believe me! 😅
@Champion2Manager ok. That's cool, no problem- it reminds Me of a 660 when it's being revved and riding it - sorry but it does to me. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
I don't understand the point of an ultra expensive beginner bike. 🤔
Everyone is Different- just depends on what you can afford and what you LIKE. THANKS for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Have a great Week!!
Not that hard to understand. There are countries with very congested traffic especially in Asia. If you own a liter bike, you know how hot the bike can get at low speed and stationary position. Bikes like these are perfect if they want quality and decent power in a street with many traffic stops. Not every country has long stretch of roads like the US
@@BHKG8818 ok. Buy a smaller displacement bike. But do you need to spend double another bike to do that? Seems like you didn't even read my comment.
@BHKG8818 True ,Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻! Great points.. Have a great rest of your Sunday! Stay in Touch!

japanese and now chinese bike sure r better of this crap
Huh?
Back that up with some facts or pipe down: performance, price, warranty coverage and duration, weight, tank size and mileage, etc.
Dude japs built different.but Chinese bikes wtf?
Is there a limit to how stupid you can be? Go stuff a pineapple pizza up your a$$ and STFU.
Do this dealer ship nationwide?
Yes!
