Some countries has specific requirement for the gap between 2 turn indicators, and if there is any other lighting in close proximity. If you look at a bike and see their indicator looks out of place, that's the reason
I'm a 2022 RS 660 owner and I got the chance to test ride the 457 and it's a really good bike. I just don't understand how to justify that amount of money, if you want a premium sport bike you can find an used RS 660 for a bit more, if you want a beginner bike there are cheaper bike with similar riding experience. I live in Rome and a couple of days ago I brought my 660 for scheduled maintenance and there where quite a few 457, the owners were all young kids without any riding gear, with the bike full of stickers and chicken strips that made me think that those bikes never crossed the city limit. It seems to me that's a bike for those who want to impress without being too involved into morcycling, at least in my region, in some asian country it's probably the perfect premium bike and it's the equivalent of a 660 in europe or in the us in terms of desirability, road riding etc. The bike itself it's amazing, super easy and enjoyable to ride but the price put's it outside the beginner bike category.
Serious comment and question, but it’s a bike like this that makes me wonder WHY hasn’t Suzuki made a 400cc GXSR bike by now??? They did make one back in the 90’s but it was only made for Japanese audiences. I would also like Moto Guzzi to setup up their game and make a 500cc competitor as well. Shift their 850cc V7 class to 80hp. (Also Yammie if your reading this, I’m looking forward to your M-109 review!)
Who is it for? Its for European sportbike riders, that started on a 125 and are not the typical "beginners", they have 2-3years of riding experience, so the 457 is the perfect step up to have some more fun, but not at a rs660 price.
Just go between 2005 and 2015 or something. Raw bikes from the early 2000s are the real thing. Just make sure it's got injection and not carburator. Ride safe.
same here but i’m going for it, none of the other bikes in the class gave me the same experience this one did, so maintaining it and relying on it might be iffy but f it 🤷♂️

@@mociczyczkiDude ... no one is gonna read that mess. No ponctuation whatsoever, it's there for a reason, you know? We've got phrases so we don't get lost in a endless chain of cobbled words.
@@mociczyczki I ridden both the ZX4R base model, not the RR and RS 457, and I have to say the ZX4R is so much better. Power-wise, it's significantly noticeable, silky smooth, and easy to manage all up to the top end. I did a few pulls with my buddies on the Hornet 750, r7, and ZX4R, and they actually were faster; they get faster out of the line, but after 10k rpm hits, it catches up and passes them and has higher top speed as well. Compared to the RS457, the ZX4R is faster from any rpm pull, and the ZX4R has a smoother gearbox, In terms of ergonomics, they are about the same; both have a higher clip-on position, which you find on beginner's friendly sport bikes, and it's pretty comportable, and I'm a 6.4 and 230 lbs rider. I litterally see no reaon other than bugdet which aprilia is not the cheapest anyway to pick rs457 over zx4rr, thr zx4rr is obkectively a much better and more capable bike in anyway.
as a beginner (never ridden just a motogeek) i’ve been deciding on whether i save for a ninja 500 SE ABS or if i just get an aprilia rs457. what is the better choice money wise?
I started riding on a duke 390 about a year ago. Clocked 7000ish KMs including a bunch of track days, highway touring and city riding. I wanted something track focussed and looking at RS457. But conflicted should I get a fully fared proper sports bike with more power or get this and use as a track toy. I've been getting quick on my duke lately. What do you suggest? If bigger bike, any recommendations? Not the ZX6R
If you can afford the RS 660, you'll definitely appreciate the extra 50 hp. I got the RS 660 as my first bike about a year ago and have done 9 track days this season. A good portion of my appreciation of the bike is that it handles so well and is easy to ride fast. About a month ago I tested a RC390 as a potential track bike. Honestly it felt like a moped in comparison.
@@samanthagregoryurich4167 It makes a lot of sense. Thing is RS660 in my country is so expensive it's close to a Panigale V2 price. I can afford it but I'd want to get the V2 for that kind of money. @RahulKumar-up9fb Wow that's nuts...the V2 does happen to be my dream bike but costs 30% more here. From what I have heard, the newer ones are pretty easy to ride...just be careful with that warp drive!

i own a tuono 660 factory. dream bike for me. would get another one or meybe even a v4. since these bikes are best in theiri class
Clearly you haven't rode one.
I have Rs 660 with 11k miles
No issues
Nice pull
Comfortable enough
Great fun on track
Lol someone who just hears all the negative about aprilia even though they handle 10x better then the Japanese counterpart
Rs457 has integrated indicators but why they fix indicators in front 🤔sides of the bikes
So for what reason did you not make a comparison between this bike and the ZX 4RR?
Zx4rr has an in-line 4 engine it makes way more power than rs457's twin cylinder engine. Rs457 is supposed to compete with bikes like Ninja 400/500 ,r3 ,rc390 and cf moto's 400 cc
3:29 Ninja 500 is actually 451cc ☝️🤓
Hi there, Yami, my friend who’s been riding for a couple years introduced me to you because I am going to get a bike in a couple months (I have to save). I bought my helmet. I bought my boots. I bought my gloves. I bought my pants and jacket. The next thing I have to get is a new visor and a Cardo edge. What I’m thinking about is a ninja 400 2023 What are your thoughts I’m based in Houston my full-time work is videography editor. I work for TH-camrs all the time with millions of subscribers, if you ever ever need any editing done because you don’t have time, I would love to help you
Geez dude, lol a cardo before getting ur first bike??? Stop buying all the extras and save up for the freakin bike first! 😂
@@JohnnyDeezlifts I might hold off on the Cardo, but I just wanna have all the stuff so I can ride with my friend and talk back-and-forth while we’re riding. Any tips for when I first start riding though? I’ve only ever really ridden a dirtbike. That’s the closest thing.
haha, the drivers test on my country uses mt-07s
Do a video on 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401
the price of the rs457 is 1/2 of a brand new ninja 400 here.. so it seems to be the best
Can we get a chance to see CFMOTO 500 VOOM VS APRILLA RS 457
No! 😂
Question to any owner of RS457, is this bike a torture to ride on highway for 1 hour? I'm considering between this and Suzuki SV650 for commuting to office, my current KTM 250 Duke while capable, is not fun enough to endure long distance due to weak top end
Don’t ever stop doing your whacky end credits. 😂😂😂😂
It makes me sad he appreciated RS457 and not ZX4RR this much 😞

I ridden both the ZX4R base model, not the RR and RS 457, and I have to say the ZX4R is so much better. Compared to the RS457, the ZX4R is faster from any rpm pull, and the ZX4R has a smoother gearbox,
In terms of ergonomics, they are about the same; both have a higher clip-on position, which you find on beginner's friendly sport bikes, and it's pretty comportable, and I'm a 6.4 and 230 lbs rider.
I litterally see no reaon other than bugdet which aprilia is not the cheapest anyway to pick rs457 over zx4rr, thr zx4rr is obkectively a much better and more capable bike in anyway.
Beggars can’t be choosers. I’ll take it!
I neeeeeeed it
This is the bike I want. I don't think I'll use the full potential of a 660 it just makes me sad I can't win this bike being in Canada
as a beginner (never ridden just a motogeek) i’ve been deciding on whether i save for a ninja 500 SE ABS or if i just get an aprilia rs457. what is the better choice money wise?
"older , 35+" That's crazy I bought my first motorcycle at 58.
I want you to try a 400 cc naked touring bike called dominar 400 and tell ur experience about the indian brand
So as a second bike the 660 is ideal? I should I jump the rsv4😂😂 I know yam loves this questions
I want the cfmoto 675ss. Can u do a video on that haha
In India it costs less than $5400
I find it easier to call it the four five seven
How many entries do you receive on these short giveaways?
Performance + It's just looks amazing, not sure if 45bhp to 155bhp is too much. It's going to be primarily track day toy for me.
@RahulKumar-up9fb Wow that's nuts...the V2 does happen to be my dream bike but costs 30% more here. From what I have heard, the newer ones are pretty easy to ride...just be careful with that warp drive!
The rs457 in india is ALOT cheaper than the competition (Ninja400,500 and R3) only bike a bit cheaper are the ktms
That cause the 457 and ktms are made in India so no import tax
@@DaBinChe yup I know, all I am trying to portray is how good of a deal is rs457 in india, and considering Indian roads/traffic, rs457 has more power than a sensible will ever use here
Nah i want the RS660 extrema 👌🏼
how’d yk i was thinking tht
Yes, I do!🤚💍
No, I don't. I got R3 instead 🙂
clean
Can i win this bike even though i live in Europe? For example Denmark?
1 minute ago is harassment
No, I want a RS660 factory
I have an rs 457 and I have nothing but problems with it! Dealer service where I bought it was horrible. I just traded my old ninja 400 for the 500 40th anniversary. So I have both bikes. I am currently selling my rs 457. The Japanese bikes have been far more reliable to me. I will never go with another aprilia bike again!!
I wanted to buy an RS457 but bought a Zx4rr. Instead
I want a tuono 457
They all look like grown up kids of Ninja 300.
Would you look at that, I just hit 35!
It's a moped larping as a sport bike.
I don’t understand the 200-500cc Sportbikes in America. Get a R7 or a RS660 or a gsx8r or a Daytona 660. Don’t bother with these bikes as you will just end up selling it within a year.
Yammie I will give you my first born if I win this bike

In India this bike is nicknamed 'The Segment Killer'.
🏍️💨
Indian version is looking far better.....why there are those external turn signal indicators ?🤣
