I don’t get Aprilia. If you are going to buy an Italian V4 Superbike, why would you ever buy anything other than a Ducati. A red Ducati is like the Quintessential Superbike. Additionally, their 660 middleweight is Waaay overpriced. You can get a Japanese Supersport with more power and better tech and better looks for less money. Honestly, the 457 is the most compelling product in their line-up.
Jap supersports don’t give you all the tech a flagship bike has. The RS660 has everything a 1000cc bike has😂. It has cruise control; 6axis imu, anti wheelie, tcs, ebm, etc. an R6 has none of those plus the only way for you to get going is to be at 10000rpm. The Japanese super sports have their merits but for the road the RS660 is the best imo.
The RS660 is way better for the road than Japanese supersports like the R6 or Zx-6r. The RS660 is also equipped with flagship tech like 6axis imu and all the electronics the RSV4 has. Its the best middleweight imo
Ah yes, the racetrack. The place most people aspire to, buy products based on, and lust over the idea of. Yet the same bunch rarely or never go to a track their entire lives. So why don't we celebrate the road instead? Why is it that a beastly 1100cc V4 engine today has to rev to stupid RPM to make most of its power? Why can't manufacturers today produce 1100cc engines that generate the sort of STREET BIASED thrust of say...... a 1996 GPz1100?... a bike that couldn't quit leaving a black line on the pavement until you hit about 80mph? The engine was based on the ZX-11, but tuned for mid-range torque. Smooth as glass (couldn't feel a single tingle even at 9,000 rpm). No. Gotta pour all the money into track engines, with track ergos, and track technology, and track gear ratios, and track fuel capacity, and market the whole lot with track scenery and track riding with track leathers. And again, most motorcycle owners will NEVER ride a track their entire lives. It's like marketing a sea vessel to people who will never touch salt water.

Will buy in 2025
My gosh the cat really distroys the sound of the exhaust if I was basing my opinions on how the bikes sound here I wouldn't touch them however I've heard them without and sounds night n day.
Cool bikes But just checked and the rsv4 1100 factory costs £21.150 and a base bmw S1000rr costs £17.150 and is still quicker and allegedly more reliable has cruise control and heated grips standard so which would you buy?
Errrr wha? It isn't cheaper at all. Am I missing a really obvious joke here? 😂
RSV4 sounds waaaay better than
@@-Eternal-Damnation-think you should research a bit more before trying to make stupid not obvious jokes mate ;)
@@gpzfan5272not in my opinion though.... I prefer screaming 4 cylinders ;)
@@marcoaguiar3226 the RSV4 has 4 cylinders 😂
The 660 in the US is only 94HP.
Built in Asia? It's built exclusively in India bro. Asia is a huge continent.
Correction: The RS 457 is made in India not Asia!!😊
Is India not in Asia? 😅
@@motobob it is in Asia, but Asia generally refers to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore & so on. So just wanted to be more specific!😉
In Britain we refer to India as Asia. People from India we also describe as Asian. We are more likely to describe what you would refer to as Asian (assuming you are American), as Oriental (from East Asia).
I rode a dirt bike once. I dont think the rsv4 1100 will have enough power for me. Trust me bro.
Bob. All my buds love your vids. A small suggestion. Help us yanks not have to do the math when you use metric. Please put the conversion in the chyron script when feasible for measures.
Thanks !
TVs eurogrip protorq is a good tyre
Compared to what?
@@TheOriginalCoda it's good for entry level bikes used widely in duke390 rc390 speed400 etc in India recommended by bike reviewers as well
The Akra exhaust does NOTHING! WHAT a waste of money
Slip-ons have been doing nothing for ages, except drop some weight.....from the bike and one's wallet.
of course you should buy the big one😂
The footage from the DJI is pretty bad
Tbh TH-cam compresses the hell out of all action cam footage especially when there’s a lot of movement, so it’s hard to show it at it’s best
@@motobob TH-cam's compression and bitrate at 1080p is atrocious. You should export and upload at 4K (even for a 1080p project). You get a much higher bitrate and quality
6.2 feet it's ok on these bikes or i will look big 😂?
104 Ashly Locks
RSV4
Easy, the championship winning RSV4
🙌🏽😎
The RS660 need dual disc brakes
Finally, First
I know it's not this video's topic but Tuono 660 is probably the best Aprilia you can buy overall.
The tyres on the 457 are the tvs protorq ...and they are pretty good for the road .... And the bike is made in india .....
660. RSV4 is too much for the road.
The world is a smaller place on an RSV4
Built in 🇮🇳 not "Asia"
Of the three listed you should definitely buy a Japanese bike 😂
wouldnt buy any as theyve started doing that stupid demo/unlocking of features bullshit on some of their bikes. cant support that business model. dont charge me for shit thats already on the bike i bought.
Why does everyone rate Akrapovic exhausts so much. They're overpriced dumb down mass produced nothings!
A jap supersport makes all its power at the top though doesn’t it? Great on track but the 660 is a brilliant road bike IMO
@@exothermal.sprocket hey man naked bikes exist you know 😂 also you don’t have to rev adventure bikes and sports tourers to the moon for power. Some people just like revving it out on sport bikes with their super compromised riding positions and ridiculously low clip-ons 😂
Neither off them
There's 3 of them mate 😅
@@-Eternal-Damnation-haha what a silly dummy
Why do they look like the same size bike?
I'm happy with my RS 660. Don't think I will enjoy the RSV-4. Just too dangerous for me.
Always, ALWAYS:

The 660 and 457 are pieces of 💩 rsv4 all day
