I'm loving it already But what have you learned after driving round a car park and flashing your lights at other couples in cars ,,, is it an experience you will be trying again... messing aside I have an HID conversion on the dip beam on my r1200gs , and I never even bother with high beam any more , its so good . And no one ever flashes me so all in all its been great .
Led fanny In a dark car park that is where the action is 👍 bit Dodgy leaving the Johndom off the back of the headlight unit, will we see a C1 fish tank headlight modification next Saturday?
Just H4 LED bulb. There’s many on the market, under different names and manufacturers, but look for one that looks physically the same and you should be into a winner I’d think.
In my experience you get better results from h4 Lee's because of the shield for the dipped beam, I have some fitted to my Vivaro and not had one flash from oncoming vehicles 👍
Yes I agree, these do have the shield and make a really good pattern. The last H4 ones I tried had no shield, and were just awful in every way. These ones: th-cam.com/video/mUIeQ8e7hnE/w-d-xo.html
@@CurtF94 yea they are but as long as you get decent ones you shouldn’t have any issues. I run these ones in this more recent video. They’re the best I’ve tried th-cam.com/video/uZgGU0vYyRs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fL9F7HCIXZmiBzJr
@@CurtF94 most of them give terrible beam pattern and dazzle oncoming road users. The ones I show in the other video are really good and give a perfect pattern
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos oh I see,il check mine when I put them in. I see an a45 earlier in the daylight and that proper blinded me. I only got them because I’m gonna have a powerful subwoofer in the boot so these shouldn’t dim
@@CurtF94 yea my LEDs don’t dim with my sub, but my bulbs in the heater panel do. I’ve changed my sub recently. I had a 12” Fli all in one with an amp built in before but it never sounded great. It didn’t hit the low notes like there was a crossover filtering them out. I fitted ab 10” pioneer off a half decent JBL amp and it sounds WAYYYY better than the 12” Fli ever did
Looking at these for my C1. There are a lot of brands on Amazon ranging from £30 - £80. Other than ensuring there is a shroud for the headlight. Is there a particular brand that's any good?
I’m not sure what brand these even are as I didn’t buy them and just acquired them second hand with no packaging. The shroud and the size/positioning of the LED light source are the important factors from what I can tell. Small thin lighting circuits that resemble the bulb filament seem to be best for beam patterns. If I was buying some more I would probably try these ones, as they look like they should work well and the Novsight brand I fitted to the BMW work well without being too expensive. www.amazon.co.uk/NOVSIGHT-Headlight-15000LM-Conversion-Replacement/dp/B099ZK15ZZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?crid=V7LZ2YQFQFOV&keywords=h4+led+headlight+bulbs&qid=1668943023&sprefix=h4+%2Caps%2C76&sr=8-16
“but there ileggal for mOt”
😁
Another excellent instalment meaning yet another project added to my C1 to-do list. Thanks.
Just make sure to go for ones with that little shroud around the dip beam else you’ll end up with no beam pattern!

Ah, it all becomes very clear now…
Hi mate, what‘a name of the screen display showing your speed etc, looks amazing
It’s a HUD mate. Just plugs into the OBD port

I just installed these on my 107. Love them!
Decent led headlight bulbs are good, but the cheap nasty ones are horrendous! Have you seen my other led headlight bulb video? 😬
This is the other video if you’re interested:

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos I have yeah, the ones you ran over at the end!
@@Lunar_Films that’s the one, they deserved it.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos 😆 I’ve seen you run other stuff over that deserved it more. Some engine diagnostic tool which was meant to give more power.
Very nice beam pattern - and more mpg too. I'd guess between 15-22w per bulb as opposed to the 55W of the halogens.
And the car now hits 60… kph in sub 6 seconds!
2nd question is about the parking lights? Did you change those too? Or are they still yellowish?
You mean the position lights? I put led 501 in there a while ago

Those lights are blinding 👌👍🤠

Maybe I was out dogging, but due to the lack of willing participants I gave up and pissed about with my headlights instead 🤷♀️

I recommend checking out what Auxito ones are available. They’re great
Left side LED is already aims quiet high than the right side one.
I probably had it set wrong. These ones in this other video are actually a lot better.

Autixo are great
I had no idea fitting LED bulbs is a MOT failure, I’ve had 2 MOTs since I fitted mine 🤨
They only became an automatic failure earlier this year. They keep changing the rules.
Led builds are a fail but led projector replacements are ok by the rules.
