    Not having a huge mess of wires on the handlebars is a huge bonus for me.

      Agree - having the cables tidy and integrated into the frame adds to the overall look of this bike

    Just received my Serial 1 Rush/CTY Speed on Monday and I’m loving it! I’m a former Vanmoof rider and there is no comparison between the two bikes!

      Both are great bikes so good to have a comparison- thanks for the comment. What was the range like on the Vanmoof?

      @@electricbikebuyer7352 Like most electric bikes it depends so much on how much assistance you use and the terrain you’re riding on but I’d have to say that I would get on average 60-70 miles.

      @@edl6016 Overall though what would be the pros or cons between the two bikes? I am thinking about one or the other at the moment.

      I also have a Ruch/City Speed on order. Can't wait for it to arrive. Just curious, How hard is it to get the bike up to the mid 20s MPH like it is supposed to?

    • @edl6016
      @edl6016 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Superdummy803 It depends on what kind of shape you’re in. It’s not very hard to hit twenty MPH but you have to work pretty hard to get to mid or high 20’s. But keep in mind I’m in my early 60’s.

    How well do the seatpost suspension and the spring saddle work together? I've read that they might counter the effects of each other. Do you notice a greater benefit of both? ... great looking bike, btw!

    Thanks for the review. Would you reccomend this bike to someone who is a first time eBike owner? It is currently on sale at Best Buy for about 1799 USD before tax.

    Do you have links to the accessories and upgrades you bought? Specifically interested in the handlebar grips. Thanks!

    Thanks for your review; it’s very informative. May I ask how tall you are? I’m 6’2”. Would the absence of an adjustable stem be an issue?

    • @electricbikebuyer7352

      Hi, The stem is indeed adjustable. Buying the correct size model and adjusting the seat height will accommodate your 6’2” frame without issues.👍

      There is a sizing calculator on the Serial 1 website. Correctly take your measurements as instructed.
      I’m 6’ 1/2” and best size was the XL.

    Hey there. I got a serial one over there Black Friday sale. Before I purchase it I reached out to my local Harley shop to see if they serviced it. They indicated they sell them as well as service them. Now I need service and they refuse to do so. I'm just curious, where are you get your bike serviced? Have you looked into your local Harley shops and what are they telling you? Other local bike shops will not service e-bikes they did not sell. A huge selling point for me was having the local dealership service it. And now I'm having problems. So disappointing. Just wondering what your experience is

      Hi, response from Terry : It’s a SR Suntour. Again, really not necessary. I purchased it for my first ebike and it raised the seat to high for me. It takes up about 4”.

    Thanks for this review. I went to a Serial1 retailer today and took the Rush/Cty Speed for a short ride. I loved it! After putting up with my Brompton’s hard Brooks saddle, the stock saddle for Serial1 felt gentle and more than adequate on my bony derriere. The bike also didn’t require a lot of pedaling even when the motor was off. So all my fears that the bike would feel underpowered given its 250w motor was unfounded. I look forward to riding in my neighborhood’s hilly terrain.

    Hi, would you be so kind to send me the links for some of the customizations you did? I have the Brooks saddle in black. Are the rest from brooks as well?

    • @MrEstudios
      @MrEstudios 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question. Both the saddle and saddle bag are Brooks. The bag on the back and the grips are low end and found them randomly online. Brooks had grips with the copper finish but I haven’t been able to find them as of yet.

    DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE! Company lies to owners about updates to make sales, and replacement parts are impossible to get.
