Will Serial-1 make an upgrade kit so that the Gen 1 bikes are 100% compatible with the new app? I've read many reviews of upset Gen 1 owners who thought it their bikes would work with the new app...but sadly no.

Very informative and the thoughtfulness shows as you take a close look at these bikes. I loved my test ride!

Are you kidding me. After less than a year you introduce a new "version" bike with an APP that provides features promised with the bikes already sold but it doesn't work with any of the Serial bikes sold/made in 2021? As an owner of a Serial 1 Rush City Speed (Nov 2021 purchase) I am outraged at this unforgivable slight and deception! Shame on you Serial 1

Absolutely beautiful bike. Very interested in getting this product. I will be hoping to be contacted in Roseville California about a purchase.

Hi there! Currently Serial 1 eBikes are available in the US, Canada and throughout Europe. We're working hard to expand to more countries as soon as we can!

    Hello. #Serial1
I was wondering if this e-Bike is considered to be a hybrid ir just a city rider. I mean... I am definitely not going to use it as a BMX or fully mountain bike, but... Can it really handle some off-road and off the track rides?
The reason I ask this is because i am considering buying the BMW Active Hybrid e-Bike, and i just found out that the Serial 1 is already shipping.
Can I actually pedal or use the bike even without battery left?
    Thank you very much.

Hi Javier! The /CTY lineup was designed for city riding, but can handle some light off-road trails. You can still pedal if the battery runs out. Feel free to reach out to support@serial1.com or give us a call at 1-844-SERIAL1. Our support team would be happy to answer any of your questions!

Could you possibly talk about the non-comapitibilty with bicycle trailers? I'm curious why the decision was made to use a non-standard axel that will not support any common trailer hitches. If somebody wanted to use this to take their kids anywhere, it's basically impossible because of the engineering choices made here, without a custom adapter, that nobody makes.

@Mr Mr That's how I understand it. It's just the rush. I did finally find a machinist to build a custom bracke at the cost of a small fortune. It's mind boggling whey serial 1 just completely ignored this. You can go into a bike shop and basically 100% of all bikes are trailer compatible, except this one...

That's a major bummer... The main reason I want an e-bike is to make it easier to tow my 2 kids up hills. oof.
