    Really helpful video! I have longer hair on the sides and back instead of a disconnected hairstyle, so I ended up with more of a vintage James Dean-type of pompadour.

    My stylist showed me how to rock my new pomp, but it was rather complicated and intimidating, involving a blow dryer, multiple products and a lot of time. I just tried this method and feel about 3000x more confident in my ability to achieve the desired effect with ease. Thanks a bunch, great tutorial.

    Hey Robin, love the video's, man! Quick question, or for anyone... How do you get your hair so perfectly formed when you just wash and dry it? I feel I can never get it as clean. I usually shampoo every other day and I use an Uppercut Deluxe Pomade. I have 2.5 inch hair if that matters. And I usually do a lower level pomp. Thanks for the response in advance, brother!

    I have thin hair right, and I also have that swirly thing on the crown of my head. That swirly thing I don't know what it's called but always cause a problem for me to do any styles like pomade, the up and over. My hair cut is a comb over. Any suggestions?

  • @Imwatching420
    @Imwatching420 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have the same style with the "part line" (quoted because with the disconnect it isnt truly a part) on the right side rather than the left and my hair is a bit longer than yours, the front just reaches my top lip. Personally, I like to put my product in then start by combing all the hair to the left, very neatly. Then, starting at the very front, I use my comb to take only a small amount of hair and comb straight up, then back in one motion. I continue doing that, bringing in more and more hair from the front, until I have the basic shape. Then I move so the left side (side without the part line), and bring the hair up and back onto the top. Once all that is finished, I go back to tue front and just make minor adustments.and straighten it out. It usually takes about 15 mins.

    Robin!! I was at walgreens yesterday and I picked up two products. First, is L'oreal boost it volume inject mousse. It is amazing! I gives you volume and hold! The second which is really interesting is Infusium leave in treatment. It is a spray, you spray it into your hair before you style it and it conditions the hair through out the entire day which is little neat. You should check them out!
