    I watch your videos everyday trying to learn more and more about the whole disconnected undercut hair-do. I sort of have one at the moment but it wasn't cut the way I imagined it (like yours). Your videos are great and very helpful, I thank you Jordan!

    The length on the top of my hair is about 5" at the front and 2.5" nearer the back. But what I don't like are the small hairs that are part of my hairline on my forehead. I'm so temped to shave them off to get a 'box' look like you, but I don't want to get into the habit of shaving them every week in order to maintain that look. Also, I don't really want it to appear as a receding hairline by shaving them off. What do you suggest? Also, what is the length of the top nearer to the back?

    i got this hairstyle just mine isn't as long as yours, the length of my front is touching my nose at the moment. put a number two on the sides, although a 3 is what i should have used straight up no blend my back is like yours but shorter hopefully in a couple of months i have the exact length im after. haven't been to a barber in ages, lol. haven't had the top cut in about 6 months just been trimming the sides myself and trimming the back so it flows nicely.
    thanks for the tips man, i love this hairstyle reminds me of the jimmy darmody hairstyle in boardwalk empire.

    Hey so theres a lot of talk about products being really unhealthy but it looks like your hair is suuuuuper healthy! can you please explain?!

    • @thejobrien
      @thejobrien  9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      yomomdabomb A lot of the time healthy hair comes from genetics and diet. There are other products like natural oils out there (argan oil) that really help the hair get more nutrients and minerals. But a lot of it comes down to not stripping the hair from its oils due to shampooing too much, eating healthy and supplementing it when needed :) I'm editing a video as we speak about argan oil so stay tuned!

    • @yomomdabomb4529
      @yomomdabomb4529 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you talk about Coconut oil in your hair?! PLEASE! Love your videos btw, BEST hair channel on youtube.

    • @thejobrien
      @thejobrien  9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hmm I havent tried coconut oil but I know its good. You can get some and grab about a dime to quarter size and rub it in your hands and put it through your hair as a "get" if you want. But it'll get really oily. Argan oil is much better because its a "dry oil" so it wont get super greasy

    Hey Jordan, what do you recommend for a medium to strong hold that gives some shine but not too much, more of a natural shine I guess. I currently use Starwax's Clay which is awesome although it leaves my hair kinda frizzy and dull looking. Out of all the products you've used and reviewed what is the best? Thanks again.

    Hey Jordan, just wanted to ask if you could do a G-Eazy hairstyle tutorial. I'm a huge G-Eazy fan, and he's basically the reason I found out about you, because I was searching for his hairstyle tutorial. Even your and his looks are similar. It's a really slick back pomp, but still can't do it like his, even my hair is kinda the same, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. BTW, because of Eazy, I've became a huge fan of yours. Could you help and do the tutorial? Thanks, keep up the amazing work you've been doing, cheers from Lithuania, Europe!

    hey nice done mate! I like your videos and I have never worn a long hair stye like this so I would like to ask you one question. How long does the hair have to be by the way? I can always only imagine when I watch your videos and it looks like 7.5 - 10.0 cm. Is this kinda correct? I also would like to know if it can be also made with a bit shorter hair like 5.0 to 7.5 cm if my first number was correct. Would be great if you answered me on that. Thanks in advance and keep doing your sympathic style! :-)

    My top is a lot shorter than yours and I'm trying to grow it out but it is getting thick. When I ask the barber not to trim and just thin it out am I sacrificing length anyway? Or is it necessary, like a one step back, two steps forward in order to achieve length without bulk?
