    Waiting for the HVAC guys to come … one week+ before they can make it. We picked one of these up at Lowe’s, so that we can at least sleep comfortably. Damn, it actually works. We’re in southern AZ, and its 100+ daily. Mind you, it is loud, but in a white noise kind of way so I don’t mind it. It’s cools the room off in about 15 - 20 minutes. We’ve slept comfortably and deeply.

    Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! th-cam.com/users/postUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

    Have you found an easy way to use the drain? I hate how they made the drain so damn close to the ground. I have to pick it up and hold it while someone holds a bucket under to drain.

      How often do you need to drain it

    • @irisheyes3056
      @irisheyes3056 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yezkaholic not very often. I think it depends on the humidity. When we first got it it filled up pretty quickly and we maybe drained it 3 times. Haven’t had to since. You will hear a sloshing while it’s running and if it gets too full it will stop and light will flash. Great machine! Best purchase ever. Has been such a comfort on those hot days.

    • @yezkaholic
      @yezkaholic ปีที่แล้ว

      @IrishEyes nice! I'm still on the fence Wethersfield to get a portable unit or something I can put on the window. Did you Insulate the hose?

    • @irisheyes3056
      @irisheyes3056 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yezkaholic No, just using it as it came. We also don’t use the extra insert to completely seal the window. It seemed to cause negative pressure in the room, and so caused sinus pressure problems. We leave about 6” open on the screen and that has solved the problem. I have seen some that recommend the larger one with two hoses, one for intake and one for output. May be a way to go too.

    is there a water hose?

    • @CyberMagnetic
      @CyberMagnetic 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @CampingDad247 it evaporates most of the moisture and blows it out the tube. Any remaining drips are collected in reservoir. You will get an E5 error when its time to drain it.
      Unfortunately I need to lift it onto the counter to drain into the sink
