This video was EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you so much for making this!
You're so welcome! Stay cool this summer
We have like an overhang so we didn’t get any water in it and it worked good no moisture as long as you’ve got your screen on it should kind of protect it from critters so yeah should be OK. Good luck stay cool.
Thank you so much. Very good information about this product. I live in a small apartment and on call maintenance man had to install this in my apartment. If regular maintenance came back and serviced my unit with Freon, perhaps I could have avoided this unit. Installing was done with less than half of what you've Instructed. 90°+ It's cooling but it's 😢 probably going to run up my bill. Nobody back to the office until Monday after 4th of July. Prayers needed. Very frustrated. I know it's not installed properly or tight enough.
Great to hear stay cool. It’s gonna be a hot summer.
Thank you, this was so helpful putting my unit together. 😊
You are so welcome! And stay cool this summer

sorry last question how does this work in the rain since its in the window.. does rain get into the unit or is there some type of flap that prevents it.. thanks again
Bob is my uncle!
He certainly is stay cool this summer
@@TomLeeman no seriously 😂 I have two uncles named Bob!
Thanks.
You're welcome
No, you can keep the screen in good luck. Stay cool thanks for watching.
I’m curious as to why you didn’t use the foam seals.
I’m only putting it in there temporarily while I fix the other AC so I took a shortcut good luck stay cool thanks for watching
Nice video thanks. What if I only need the dehumidifier feature? Will I still need to attach that hose to the window, etc. Please tell me more about the dehumidifier feature.
Yes, you wanna attach the hose to the window because it will blow the hot air out of your home wallet dehumidifies, or cools
@@TomLeeman okay. Thanks for your reply. 🙏
Can we get extra sleeves if our window is taller vertically then what comes with the ac?
You may be able to get them on Amazon www.amazon.com/dp/B093WC1936/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_WDMBH2GFH8HFT8F7RP38?linkCode=ml2&tag=tomleeman-20
You’re welcome
Do you know how to keep it running .Mine cuts off every 24 minutes .I justvwant to keep it on cool foe a few hours if possible
You have to lower the temperature as soon as he gets to that temperature it cuts off just like any AC would also check and make sure there’s no water in the drain port
Just got 1 today after how long to i have to drain it ? Will it shut off if its full !!
I believe that this one self evaporating, but after a couple weeks, you should check it
I guess you might be right. Good luck stay cool thanks for watching.
Do you know why my tempt stay at 31celcius? I changed it to 24celcius but it stay as 31c
Make sure that you have it on cool and not fan. Check the mode. Good luck thanks for watching.
In the back of it, there’s two drain hoses. One is for condensation. One is for dehumidification if you have it on dry so you have to check those by unscrewing them and pull the plug out and then the water will flow out. You could use a little hose to direct it into abucket or something good luck stay cool. Thanks for watching.
Just got mine yesterday, got the 6000 btu one. 250 sqft and I’m in a small apartment bedroom. Set it to 61 degrees and it won’t get under 72 during the day. At night it got down to 65 or so. It has been like 90 degree days or so. Not sure what’s going on.. I’d rather not have to take it back and get the 8000btu one. The sqft meets my requirements. The temp in my room won’t get down to 61, the temp I set it to. Is it just the quality of it? Completely confused.
I purchased a dual hose 8000 BTU portable AC and it works really good. I don’t think these things can get a room down more than about 15° from the heat outside. They do have limits if it’s 100° it’s tough to get that temperature down
@@TomLeeman yeah that makes sense. Maybe I’ll get a 8000 btu one and see how that does. Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately my window space is too small to fit the bracket. Do you have any solutions for that?
You would need a saw to cut the leaf so that will fit. It’s probably the only solution unless you could fabricate Aleve out of some materials from Home Depot and plug your exhaust port in there. Good luck thanks for watching.
That is strange. I will have to do some research to figure that out.
i got one but still Okay FOr 9 months. no yet problem. still Recommended for you all got this one.
Yes, I do believe it’s pretty good
I have some one i like it , but it keep shutting off after 5 mins , cant figure out how keep it on running all night with my remote?
Turn the temperature down and check to make sure that it has been drained Good luck stay cool this summer.
My thermo keeps cutting off and on fast.
@@donnabaughman2150 turn down the tempt I figured it out ahah , then put the setting on low and and double click the power button ! Hope it helps stay cool
@@TomLeemanhow do you drain it?
sorry i have the dumbest question ever but i have to ask do i need to have the screen window behind it pushed up as well while the glass window is pushed down on the tube?
No, it blows right through the screen, but you could take it out if you wanted to stay cool thanks for watching
@@TomLeeman awesome great to know thanks alot!! ♥️♥️keep up the good content 🙌🏾
I popped the screen out thinking that we had to!
I keep getting the e5 error, I'll drain it then it'll rin for 30 min-1hr before getting the same error any suggestions
I’ll have to do some research on that. I’m not sure what’s going on unless it’s super humid where you live and it keeps fills with water
Same here……
No such thing as self evaporate even if it claim to have it. Attached a hose to the air con n the other end to bathroom or outside for draining.
كم سعر المنتج وكم يسحب كهرباء
This was at $300 and you can buy it on Amazon. It does draw a lot of electricity. Good luck thanks for watching.
I just bought my Air Conditioner and now it says E5😕Me and my guy just hooked it up.
That can mean many things it could be the fan is not working properly. The control board may be not working or the coolant may have a problem. Would recommend taking it back and switching it out for a new one if you can.
Same here@@TomLeeman
E5 I think you have to drain it
@@le_karen08 We’ve done that multiple times.I decided to turn it in and now I have a window unit that can also work via WIfi.I love my new unit🩷
Worst air conditioner I have ever had... freezes, does not cool and extremely LOUD... absolute JUNK!!! And Cdn Tire will not refund my money. Too loud to run at night. Might run for one hour then shuts off!!! This is my second one. They both are the same and other Cdn Tire reviews agree!!!
They should take it back and refund your money. I don’t understand why they won’t if you purchase these off Amazon Amazon you can send them back and get your money back.
This happened to me as well but it if it turns off prolly cuz of it being to cold in the room no need for it to keep going I had this issue turned it up like 3-5 degrees fixed it
