Black&Decker will be my next portable air conditioner. Serenelife lasted 3 months. The temp display says my room temp is 85 while outside temp is 72. May the sensor is what is causing it not cool anymore. All filters are clean and also getting E4 code.
Wanting to get one of these since I'm not allowed to put a window unit in my apartment. Here in Houston, it's hitting the 100s in Fahrenheit, how hot was it outside your home?
my most concerning question would be the water condensation, i see a lot of reviews, saying that unit produces 5 gallons of water and you need a bucket next to it. is that true ?
The Black & Decker feels like it used the same material as the Serenelife. Alos, 8000 BTU on Black and Decker VS the Serenelife 8000 BTU are identical when it come to pushing out cold air.

Sure doesn't look like the oval is taking up "less room".
The part where you install it on to the Widow does take up less room there for makes the window install fit better.
