      Well said. Probably because he doesn't want it, or he grew up Canadian. I am a Brit who moved to Canada 30 years ago and they definitely don't believe in themselves the same way.

      @@bobsingh7949 What did u mean,"they don't believe in themselves the same way"?(not looking for argument,just clarification)
      .I understand "Canuck's" have a rep for being ever so polite and now somewhat "PC"but they always struck me as having a good sense of self!!..
      And this is from a former Londoner who has lived in the US for 21 yrs..
      Maybe Les is or has been treading lightly ever since those Sasquatch Docu's with Todd Standing(who is somewhat obsessive but I believe&hope is Legit?)
      He wants to further and maintain his career(he gets to make a living at what he enjoys& the way of life)and is aware of the sceptics and people who might think he's lost the plot(I think Joe Rogan&his massive macho ego implied something like that?)Me personally I think Les is a logical,clued in individual&is aware of what's out there..And I'm sure he's correct.

      P'shaw. This guy's entire, "The existence of these creatures is not yet proven. There's no proof. I remain skeptical.", horse shite is exactly that, super ignorant, false, horse shite!
      There most certainly is irrefutable proof, & of at least four different kinds, too. Period. There is. If you don't agree with that, it's only because you're either ignorant regarding the nature of the types of evidence, &/or regarding what evidence from those different types is available for scrutiny, or else you're just ruled by fear, in denial &/or willful ignorance.
      The idea that film/video, track, audio, & dental impression evidence cannot be examined & used to find irrefutable proof, at least of the fact that there is at least one as-yet unacknowledged by mainstream science species of primate living in the wilderness of North America(& most every other place in the world) is simply nonsense. It is simply not true.
      And the denial of the Sasquatch Genome Project & the over 100 samples they analyzed is also an absolutely illegitimate denial, they did everything correctly except A. trying to accomplish something unbelievably monumental as amateurs in the scientific community, & B. choose a subject for which regardless or how carefully & perfectly they conducted every step, that no journals would publish once they were informed of what the subject matter was.
      "The Sasquatch Genome Project; Truth Denied", by Scott Carpenter is a very good book that explains all of this in greater detail.
      And one final hangup many folks have surrounds the standard skeptical questions we've all heard repeated a thousand times, & so most folks don't think to question the questions themselves, but closer scrutiny reveals that in regards to all of them, either there are very good answers to the question which prove the state of things are actually not strange & are as we should expect them to be, or else the question is predicated by completely untrue presuppositions & false premises, & don't actually deserve weight in the first place.
      And furthermore Les's denials ring hollow, & if I'm incorrect about his sincerity than the situation is actually even worse than if he's being deceptive.
      But to begin with, I don't believe for one single second that in spite of everything, Les has any iota of remaining doubt that these creatures ineed exist, in
      spite of all of his own experiences, & all of the sincere friends he has who have had encounters, & all the other good eye-witnesses he's spoken to as well, & his awareness of Native American & First Nations knowledge & insistence of the reality of these beings, & his close friendship with David Paulides, & he has mentioned ThinkerThunker before, so it's almost certain that he has seen either his, or else Bill Muuns multiple videos in which they both prove beyond legitimate question or denial that Patty, from the PG Film, & other subjects caught on film or video cannot be a human in a costume &/or makeup, any more than legitimate footage of wolves, or beavers, or even gorillas walking around bipedally could somehow potentially be humans in costumes &/or makeup, & for the same reasons, which is that no human could fit the dimensions of the subjects filmed & move around in proper imitation of those subjects, & to even argue that a human somehow could is the worst sort of clear folly, as it is just simply not possible.
      And if I'm incorrect, & in spite of all this knowledge & experience & much, much more that Les has in regards to these beings, he truly remains at all skeptical that they exist, & he thinks that it might all just be based on lies & hoaxes & incredible types of errors, & in reality there is no true species behind the phenomenon at all, well then that would be even worse, even more unforgivable, than Les lying about whether he believes, because it would indicate an inexplicable level of stupidity & gullibility on his part; gullibility in being convinced of the absolute nonsense lie that there is any legitimate reason to be skeptical of these beings existence
      But again, I don't believe for one second that Les is that stupid or gullible, which means he is constantly lying about his knowledge in order to pander to a crowd of completely ignorant idiots & even racists(to discount all the claims & insistence of indigenous peoples does absolutely require a level of racism, even if an unconscious one, especially since everyone who denies the existence of these beings despite that native insistence chooses to accept without question all sorts of western scientists word regarding the nature of a great many supposed truths about reality, some of which are legitimate but many of which are actually not) folks who are all either completely faulty in their logic or else are extremely fearful & willfully ignorant & so blind to an obvious reality, the fundamental existence of has no business being questioned by any sane individual.
      So now tell me how great this guy is? He's certainly not bravely honest, is he? Unless he really is an idiot with a short circuit, which I doubt, but it's either one or the other?

    Okay I grew up in a northern Alberta oil town called Rainbow Lake. This town is in the middle of the forest, it's extremely remote and even more so back then (in the 90s). It's so isolated and small there's no police or firefighters or anything, and often there was grizzlies in town and we weren't allowed to go out for recess, and instead had to attend assemblies training us to never go near the massive cylinder live bear traps around town. That's how remote this place is. There's trails in the woods, going up more north, and there's no roads or highways or anything out there except dense forest and a few of these trails closer to town that people would hike or snowmobile on. Out in those woods though, I remember on multiple occasions walking with my dad and a few times with my school for field trips, and we'd see lights out in the trees, way off the trails into the bush. During the day, just super bright lights shining from somewhere through the trees, coming from places where there should be no one. Silence, and they'd move from place to place. As a kid I thought they were flashlights but had no real understanding - they didn't look like flashlights but that's how my mind made sense of them. Some parents and adults would say it was just "natives in the woods"(doing what?), but never any other real explanation. These lights were certainly there and weren't ever explained. Very, very ominous feelings were associated with them, like a a fear and to get away. A teacher of mine said it was because we sensed someone was out there. So again, everyone knew but the answers were vague and nonsensical. It was known and accepted, everyone in town knew about these lights but no one really talked about it seriously. But local native people ( there's a LOT of reserves and cree people up there) would always say never to go to the lights and to leave when you saw them. They associated them with spirits. It's so strange because I see it now in my mind, and I still just don't know what it was. Les talking about the orbs reminded me of it.

    Sorry if this is a long story, I just don't know how to tell it in a shorter way. Sometime around mid 2016, my son and I were hiking in area of Desolation Wilderness in the Sierra Nevada's that I had never been to before and we were heading back to the car. It was later in the day, and the shadows were starting to get longer. I spotted this just enormous boulder with a tree that appeared to be growing out of the boulder and I decided to go off trail to take pictures of the rock and tree and the shadows that were being cast. We were roughly 150 yards off of the trail and were taking pictures basically around the boulder in a 360 pattern. After about 20 -25 minutes or so, we decided we'd better get a move on, as the sun was setting and it was getting dark. In a bonehead move, we realized that we couldn't find the trail, we hiked towards the direction we thought we had come but the trail was nowhere to be found. I told my son that we needed to stop for a minute, breathe, not freak out and panic because we were essentially lost.
    I decided that we would walk for about 10 minutes down the mountain and then we would stop, we'd both do 360 turns in opposite directions to see if we recognized anything, footprints, cairns, other people, anything. We had enough food and water for overnight if that was the case, but my cell phone was close to dead, so I turned it off in case I needed it the next day. We had no service so no need for the phone to be on. Okay, so after 3 stops and about 30 minutes of being lost and doing these 360 turns, it was very close to dark now and we were of the mindset that we were going to have to find a place to hunker down for the night and started looking for some type of wind break and wood we could use for a fire. We had been stopped for about 5 minutes just looking around trying to hear a car, a person, a river, anything we thought could be of help. The tree line was quite a ways away, and we were just about to head towards them when we heard the loudest, deepest guttural scream that made the hair on the back of our necks stand up.
    We looked at each other in disbelief as to what ever it was that we had heard. Not sure it was panic, but it was a startling feeling as it was unlike anything I've ever heard or experienced before. Because of the area we were in, Desolation Wilderness, and they call it that for good reason, we couldn't pinpoint where the scream came from. After looking around for a couple of seconds or so, I saw what I thought was a cairn, and told my son that I thought I found the trail. We started to run towards it, and sure enough, there was a trail and while we weren't sure if it was the trail we were looking for, it was a trail. We started to jog as we were losing light rapidly. When we got to the parking area, it was dark and we hopped in the car and locked the doors, I still laugh about that part. As we were getting back on the road out of Desolation, my son looks over at me and says, "Dad, I think that that was a Bigfoot."
    I'll never know for sure I guess, but the scream we heard doesn't match up to any animal or human that I have ever heard of and I pretty much know what all the animals in that area sound like. It was so guttural and deep(I'm guessing it lasted at least 20 seconds) that it just wasn't human or a bear or mountain lion or even an owl, it was something big. We laughed a bit and decided that whatever it was, was telling us that we were in his house and we needed to leave, and in doing so, I saw the cairn and we high tailed it out of there. I have gone back to the area on several occasions with others, but have never had that experience since, so I just don't know what it was, I just don't know.

My Yeti was very comfortable in the woods and didn't require a lot of upkeep - I could afford that. Alas, I took my Yeti down to Arizona's Sonoran desert and things didn't go well down there. My Yeti simply couldn't handle the desert terrain. I don't own my Yeti anymore and sometimes miss it, but it did go to a good home. So cool I came across this video. I used to live in Portland, Oregon and I had many an encounter 60 miles east of Portland. I went camping every weekend for 5 years out at Bagby Hot Springs. I’ve heard the whoops, tree snaps, seen the rock/boulder throwing first hand and the stacked/angled teepee tree limbs. One used to mess with me at night when I was in my tent from time to time. Had some sleepless nights sometimes. I took a spiritual approach to my camping by speaking/thinking to it when I entered its territory. I think we developed a relationship of sorts. It did not want me there, but it knew I wasn’t going to try to harm it or bring attention to it. I left it alone and for the most part it left me alone also. I was not a danger. However it let me know I was not welcome. I was trespassing. But, I was not willing to leave through its fear tactics. This may sound kind of weird, but I think it respected my decision not to be intimidated. I am not a brave person. I just wanted the same right it enjoyed…doing what it wanted to do in peace. To exist together without any problems. This is why I believe no harm came to me. Why I was not run out. I truly think it could feel my emotion and intent.

      I agree with you COMPLETELY! Aside from ads being put in our face everywhere, what you mentioned about the phone calls is called spoofing. They will program their phone to give a no-longer-in-service or a totally fake phone number that shows up on your caller id, they RARELY ever leave a message on your answering machine, and yep when you try calling the number back, that number will either always ring busy but most most often the numbers will say "the number you have dialed is no longer in service."
      Not sure if you know, but email providers like yahoo and a lot of others do this too whereby providing users the ability to create a fake email address that shows up to you instead of their real email address.
      Goodbye to youtube? YOU BET! Me n wife been growing more n more SICK of being ghost banned! If you dont know already, this is where you think your comment posted but it only shows you posted it while youre viewing it from the user account which your signed in and made the comment with. We dont use vulgar language, dont threaten people, dont go around insulting/harassing people, and dont etc etc but just one of things that causes you to get ghost banned is if enough people simply dont like what you say and they report you, this will cause googles/youtube to put you on the list to ghost ban you from certain videos.
      Sorry for the book but we want others to know whats going on and then spread the word even though ghost banning has been around for quite a few years, not many know it because of youtubes CLEVER way of tricking you into thinking your comment actually posted when it didn't

      It’a a difference of perspective. In the jungle you know there’s shit out there flying and crawling around all night. You can hear the millions of insects drone on and on incessantly. In the forests of North America it’s different, it’s quiet and ominous. Anything that breaks that quiet is definitely unnerving and worth mentioning. Again, depends on what bothers you more.

      In north america at worst youll get a black bear running from you like a little bitch (cuz they are all as scared of people as birds are) but for 99% of those sounds in 90% of north america, (excluding alaska) they are harmless animals/insects... as opposed to amazon, where 90% of the sounds you hear are shit that can kill you. Sorry, if you camp out in the amazon with North American national park camping equipment/experiencre chances are you're gonna die. In NA 100s of thousands of people camp every year and you may get a couple deaths cause by wildlife out of all of them.

Its the contrast in your senses that amplify the experience. I've never been to a jungle but I can imagine its horrifying in its own way. I assume its more of a constant fear as the noises never cease rather than long periods of quiet perforated by unsettling breaks by sticks or creepy calls n such.

    I’ve always believed that humans have a sixth sense. Like when people say, “it feels like I’m being watched,” or like how Les mentioned the hair on the back of your neck stands up. It’s like humans can sense things they don’t even consciously notice.

    • @kelleybutler9720
      @kelleybutler9720 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Absolutely and most completely fill their minds with useless information or other distractions, there no counting for how much actual sensitivity ability most of use humans have lost over time!!! Yes we’ve advanced for the better but so many try to laugh at or such down anything that’s uncomfortable or doesn’t conform!! Virtue, values, laws....etc we absolutely must have, however remember how until January 1st 1995 many thought the tell of rogue or killer waves 🌊 just appearing in the oceans and seas was nonsensical and then scientific equipment measured the huge one in the North Sea 🌊 that crashed into the oil rig and now satellites are watching them happen all the time!! They’re only explainable through quantum physics and that’s why we must be open minded with critical thought about Sasquatch and other things but never just dismiss everything as we can’t just accept anything without critical and open minded thinking!!!!

    • @RaptorJesus
      @RaptorJesus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@JesusMedrano12 er. That's not what the "It feels like I'm being watched" sensation is. It's your standard, empirical senses and instinct picking up details you don't consciously notice, like if previously there was a bunch of background noise in a forest that slowly goes quiet, you don't realize it has happened but your brain has, and it's aware that generally animals only stop making noises if they're trying to hide, meaning it's likely there's some manner of predator nearby. Nothing as "mystical" as the Force or any other sort of supernatural explanation.

    • @RaptorJesus
      @RaptorJesus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      As I mentioned in my reply to Medrano, that's exactly what's happening. Your senses *have* noticed, but it's not something you're actively aware of. We're taking in massive amounts of information all the time and the brain is deciding its priority, and everything that isn't relevant to your immediate circumstances is filtered to the subconscious mind rather than the conscious mind. It's the only way we can function because otherwise we'd be forced to give *every* stimulus the same level of concentration. If memory serves that's more or less what's happening to people with the most debilitating cases of autism(I think it's autism, it may be another developmental disorder), their brains are processing every stimulus as if it requires immediate attention.

    For any out there who may not believe in the subject, I would like to share a personal unexplainable occurrence. When i was younger around 11 or 12 i believe, i was out exploring in the woods out in rural Oklahoma behind where our family lived off in the middle of nowhere. After walking through the woods for quite some time I found a big old oak tree that looked absolutely perfect for climbing around 30 to 40ft tall or so. I started to climb and had made it maybe 10 to 15 feet up and I heard a twig snap, i got extremely nervous because in that part of the woods we have a lot of bobcats and i feared the worst, in a rush i frantically climbed faster adrenaline fueling my every movement and i made it damn near to the top when one of the branches snapped, time slowed as i realized i was falling, i reached out trying to grab anything in front of me to no avail. And i remember seeing the ground getting closer and in an instant i saw a flash of something burly and brown but do to fear of dying or whatever I fainted before i hit the ground. I woke up disoriented and confused as to how i was still alive i had just fallen 30 or more feet face down and yet i was alive, then as I'm sitting there on the ground looking at my bloody fingers from trying to grab the branches i realized i wasn't in pain. Like my body didn't feel like it hit the ground with a heavy impact i just felt the pain in my fingers and a few spots from hitting branches on the way down. As i collected my thoughts i started to remember that i had seen something big and brown move beneath me and a realization hit me. Whatever it was whether guardian angel or Bigfoot, something caught me before i hit the ground that day, otherwise how did i sustain almost no injuries from something that should have been potentially fatal. I was unconscious before i hit the ground from how scared i was and maybe he was sensing my fear and came to help. To this day i am convinced Bigfoot is real. And for anyone who doesn't believe, well me being alive is enough proof for me. And as an adult i think that maybe the twig snapping wasnt a bobcat at all, it could very well have been the Bigfoot investigating what was going on from the noise I was making!

    I have a friend who is an acupuncturist and holistic healer. He is one of the most sincere people I have ever met and a very private person. He told me that he was visiting his brother in New York and took his brother's little dog to a state park for the afternoon. He was tired from the drive and dozed off beside a large fallen tree a short distance from the hiking trail. He was awakened by the shivering of the dog. He realized it wasn't cold and the dog was trembling in fear (this dog was usually a barker but didn't make a sound, it just kept shaking), so he looked around to see what was terrifying the dog and saw a very large figure walking just down the hill from the path in the moonlight. As he watched it moving, the thing swiveled its head in a very unnatural way and looked in their direction with glowing red eyes. He was in disbelief, thinking he was dreaming. It continued on its way and eventually turned its head forward. He said it had a conical shaped head, was about 9 ft tall and covered in dark heavy fur. I don't think he even told his brother the story. He told me because I once asked him if he thought Bigfoot was real. Even though he told me the story, he never said Yes or No. That was his way of answering the question.

    Les. Have been a fan since the early 2000s and watched just about every Survivorman episode. I was aware of your encounters both in Ontario and on the Coast of Alaska with what certainly were both Sasquatches. However when you came out with your Bigfoot series a few years ago my respect for you went to a high level for having the balls to take on this subject, full well knowing a majority of your fans and casual watchers would think you to be nuts. Society and the stay in the lab academia has always stayed away from this subject, just casting it aside without doing any investigating of what is really going on, and knowing the thousands of years Native American interactions they have had with the Sasquatch, let alone the pioneer stories from the previous 3 centuries. People have become conditioned also by the perfect haired news casters that would do a 2 minute segment on this subject from time to time, only to snicker and make jokes about the people they interviewed. This is a great quest you are on and you are doing it in a very appropriate method. I myself have had a sighting, circa 1975 on opening day of deer season in Roscommon County, Michigan. I have had numerous encounters that were even more amazing than my long distance sighting, both in Michigan where I grew up and here in SW Ohio where I now live. I have friends that have seen them close up and it scared them to no end and one even stopped hunting on that day in Michigan 20 years ago. So I am a knower and nothing can change that. I am amazed that your sons did not wake you up while the hitting of the cabin took place. And this is a common trait of these hominids, which I imagine is usually a game to them. It has happened to me also. I look forward to more information on this Oregon area. It takes a long time for the Sasquatch to get accustomed to strangers in their territory. And it may take numerous trips before you actually see one, or at least a silhouette behind a tree or bushes at night. I would continue with that guitar and harmonica and they will know it is you and you mean no harm to them, and they will come around. But it is always on their terms. Best of Luck and continued success.
    Chuck in Ohio.

      Yep,I've heard them stories quite a few times..And I think this happens more often than not,but goes unreported..The Foremen and Bosses at the Logging camps really don't want to hear about anything that may bring in the local Authorities,and if proven credible,would mean their logging Op being closed down..
      Much easier to listen to those who say they've had some kind of experience &then tell them to"anyway,u had better get back to work"!

      And full 50 gallon drums thrown off down the mountain. And log truck drivers seeing and occasionally hitting one. I live in OR and have had numerous experiences with them over the years of hunting.

      @Sandy V. There was a time where I would have seriously doubted you, but 2 years ago on a country road in Warren oregon on a daily trip to a barn to take care of a horse I saw a big black rectangle floating above a house to my right. I stopped on the road and it swooped down silently and flew over my car slowly and disappeared. my pregnant roommate at the time saw it as well.
      I still have no clue wtf I saw
