I did a bigfoot pilgrimage to Willow Creek in early 2019 and like Les says at 8:15ish... feelings aren't facts, but there's something about the woods there that just... feel... weird. Me and my girlfriend at the time went for a walk in an off season trailer campground; beautiful little spot with a small creek running on one side and a large mountain with slope full of conifers on the other. Beautiful, but mossy and kind of dark for a daytime hike. I wish I could have enjoyed it but I spent the entire time with my anxiety at 9 and this undeniable feeling that something was on the hill, looking down at us. We got to the end of the trail and I suggested we turn around. Soon as we got to the park entrance, I let the guard down and exclaimed to my girlfriend, "sorry I was acting weird but I just felt crazy anxious like something was on that hill watching us" and she looked back and me and said, "I felt it too".
I couldn't get enough of this Les Stroud filmed Bigfoot series when they were on TV a few years ago. Really glad he decided to throw them up on TH-cam recently and in good clear versions too! Thanks Les!
Alright, story time. So a few years back, I lived in the mountains of the pacific northwest, and I was going hiking/morel hunting with my dog. I was on this ridge called Bethel Ridge between highway 12/410. So after a few hours of mushroom hunting with my dog, we get back in the car and start heading home. As I am driving on this ridge, which was gorgeous, and on sheer cliffs, there was a sign alerting me to "Rocks Falling." and lo-and-behold the rocks were falling. I ended up hitting this MASSIVE rock and it ripped the oil pan apart. Immediately panicked I put the car in neutral and starting rolling down the mountain with the car off. Already being 40 miles from nowhere and no phone service, eventually the car came to standstill and I was stranded in deep woods. Gah, and immediately getting out of the car, my dog gets spooked and runs off on me and I feel pretty scared. A few hours passes, and then FINALLY the dog comes back and a truck comes into view. I flag him down and the gentleman immediately responds, "you hit the rocks and lost your oil pan eh?" He agrees to give me a lift out to civilization. "My name is Bob Gimlin! I discovered bigfoot!" First thought... oh fuck who is this crazy am I going to die. lol But talking with him about bigfoot on the hour ride back was eye-opening. Like he was just sincere and really.. patriarchal and kind. Apparently he and some Russian scientists were surveying the area because of reports of sasquatch sightings. It was very interesting. He maintains bigfoot is out there, and it was surprising to google him upon getting home and, holycrap it was really Bob Gimlin and damn is that video he caught convincing. Maybe the sasquatch threw rocks at my car. So yea, anyway, that's my story of meeting Bob Gimlin deep in the woods. Super nice guy and we lived in the same city.
My sister and her husband own a ranch in northern Washington state. As she says, you can walk 700 miles north into Canada, and never get out of the forest. And once you get there, choose a direction, and you can do it again. Yes, a creature of that size could easily live there.
to what end though, we know there real the more people expose these beings the more they get hunted and killed off by ?i dont know who the more we hunt them the more they kill us back, too many people go missing every year as it is be careful les
He found a live Bigfoot, filmed it and was paid off by the Men in Black or powers at be and footage taken to be "studied" and told not to disclose any of the truth but paid well to say nothing is just my theory??? In any case I respect Les S survivor man and like his video's
Bigfoot never gets boring ... I never get tired of the documentaries ... as long as they're not regurgitations and are well done ... out in the wild. Keep these coming Les and I'll keep watching.
Excellent! THANKS LES! LOVE YOUR SHOWS.! My husband and I have hiked in a dozen places. The Pacific Northwest Is BEAUTIFUL!! A pefect habitat for all animals to live, thrive, and hide.. My husband is half native and listened to stories in the 70S. He has encountered them in four states at different ages in his life. *ON A perfect 70 degree day no wind, We were done hunting grouse in GrandRapids, Minnesota. off hwy 7 in the Iron range and NEAR IRON mine. Walking down the road, within site of the house He built on a small lake. When we smelled a strong oder. BAD.! stopped us in our tracks, looked at eachother said "what the h is that smell".!? Then The hairs on our necks stood up. Instinct. 2 seconds after we spoke, there was crash crash in the woods, twenty feet away. Not a Dear. we saw a small tree go down. waited a few minutes, then went to house. Next day we had 4 friends come track the woods. no guns or dogs. saw matted foot prints in ferns for 1/2 mile then just vanished.?? never told friends what happened. Told them we saw a wounded Bear. This was 2005. next spring we sold the place and never went back.!! TRUE TRUE,
Love this series!! I had an experience more than 40 years ago in the mountains of Northern Colorado, I saw bigfoot cross a meadow... I received beatings for lying but my story has never changed...Les will find what he's looking for
Bless ya Mark. I am a native who wants to believe. 20 years in the Army mostly overseas. I need to get out in my mountains as much as i did in Europe and Korea....
Fantastic to finally see some serious bigfoot shows with out all the silly bullshit, I'm loving theses les keep it up and you might finally find some evidence of the legendary bigfoot and shock the world
@Dick White , His first BF shows the "creature" starring right at the camera, it never blinks. Try and see how long you can go without blinking, not very long. So he must of got a bunch of shit about it, because his next one is Blinky the clown, LOL Fake as can be.
18:30 Les: “Movies and TV Shows create an unrealistic, fearful image of the wilderness. Whether shrouded in mist and darkness or lit by bright sunlight, nature is where we all come from.” Producers: ... Producers: “So anyways, spooky music in black and white?” Les: Hell yeah
This is for those who don't know.... The TH-cam channel "Bob Gymlan" Is the single greatest channel for this subject. His name is a tribute obviously. But yeah... I just want more people to be aware. Such a wonderful channel.
It’s hard for me to believe this thing has eluded the camera for decades but at least all this shots of the wilderness are beautiful and worth the watch anyway!
Been watching these daily, my mom showed me your show when I was a kid and I’m so glad that your still making and posting content on a service like this.
This is the most beautiful blend of the concrete and abstract, the logical and the mystical. This is my favorite episode so far. I hope someday when you have some more time, (yeah, I know you have tons of that! LOL!) that you can do a director's cut of each of these episodes and tell us all of the many behind-the-scenes stories, observations and feelings that you had. I also hope that, in time, there will be many more seasons Survivorman Bigfoot. Each episode is exciting, dramatic, and intriguing. It combines the love of nature with the wonder of nature so eloquently. Thank you Les, so very much!
I love the way you are persistent even though you haven’t had a visual. YET.. as soon as the dead tree was laid at your feet, I knew your trip was dangling on the spiritual side of things. That was an awesome video. Having your Native guide adds to the spirituality of your expedition. Sometimes seeing isn’t always believing. Sometimes the hair on the back of your neck is all the testimony you need. But continue your journeys please. I love your videos. I love the forests. I love the “ knowing of the unknown”. There’s the possibility also that you will have an encounter and feel deeply in your soul that you should keep it between you and them. Be safe. And thanks again. ❤
Please people pick up a Bible! Genesis tells us that the angels the watchers lusted after the daughters of men! Came down and had relatuons with them but it didn't stop.there! Energy electricity never is destroyed! Just misplaced! We bieleve in things we cannot see more than most realize! We've just been programed to not see or aknowledge it! Goliath was one of many giants! And mythology wasn't such a myth after all! Aliens are nothing more than fallen angels! Or they're worker drones! I find it funny that Satan told God he will never serve those monkey's! Us! And what does darwinism say we evolve from?! Hmm
@@sage_morales8535 If you haven't already; read 'The Nephilim Among Us' by Scott Carpenter who is actually with Les in one of these episodes. Excellent book on exactly this subject as it pertains to BF/Sasquatch.

I took a wrong turn & ended up in the mountains on the reservation. It was a beautiful drive!! I eventually made it to the sequoia trees. I came down the mountain on the other side and ended up in a small town that had a bigfoot museum. Unfortunately they were closed! So I ate pizza across the street. It was a wonderful day!!

I caught that too! "Stick to the road. Stay off the moors. May God be with you." That was what the Englishman said when he drops Jack and David off just outside of East Proctor, right before they walk to the pub, The Slaughtered Lamb". That movie came out in 1980 and used to scare the crap out of me as a kid.
@@SurvivormanLesStroud just to let you know Les, when I first opened a MySpace page, yes MySpace, a million years ago, where you fill in the attributes section, I put my "hero/role model" is Les Stroud AKA Survivorman. Survivorman and Son, Survivorman and Bigfoot, and I've been watching your food foraging in the forest show recently. Thanks man you're awesome! You are the real deal.
I couldn't help but notice the Hoopa man's arms as he told his story about the arm in the window. You could see the gooseflesh on his forearm. That tells me that there was a strong emotional connection to the memory.
I just spent from August 13 until October 1st 2024 working on the forest fires around willow creek, this is very steep and rugged country, perfect habit for sausquach. I didn't see one,but saw one mountain lion and six bears. I was born and raised in humboldt county California...still looking forward to seeing one.
I would so love to see more Survivorman Bigfoot Episodes. There are a lot of sightings in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. Would be cool if he focuses there.
There's an excellent book written , I believe in the 1920's by a hupa woman, recalling all her childhood experiences and those of her elders, I had to order it as a borrow from the University in Boulder through my public library in Longmont Colorado, a little hard to get but so worth it, fascinating, she stated that the elders said the hairy forest people used to use fire and cook etc....but they stopped because it made them too easy to find...hmmmmmm
@@groovymike7582 i wish I could remember, I provided all the info I remember to assist in finding it, it's possible the title is something like: life as a Hupa Girl , a librarian should be able to locate it searching books written by native hupa woman written in the 1920's, I hope....
27:33 You can literally seen the goosebumps on this guy’s arm as he’s recounting his story. That’s a strong indication of the fear he can still feel all of these years later from this thing trying to grab him through the window.
“Most native cultures don’t fear Sasquatch. They respect them” Well … look up a list of native names for the creature and their actual meanings. You’ll find that between a quarter yo a third of the names mean demon, cannibal, devil, hunter of women, etc. Those names communicate deep fear. Also, Les should go up to Alaska, where most of the tribes describe a man-eating creature that actively hunts human. It specifically uses the sounds of babies crying when it wants to entice women, and mimics the sound of women in distress when it wants to attract men. Check out Subarctic Alaska Sasquatch channel and listen to the reports given to Fred Roehl up there. Eye opening and horrific.
Love this guy, Les your a beast yourself, it takes a lot of balls to do what you do and put yourself in these positions. Please keep pumping these episodes out, and I like bigfoot episodes alot, I think you should try another time and try to go in way deeper if u can

Les. i have been a bigfoot believe for a long time. Its been 42 years since that time happened, but will never forget it. This happened on the niobrara river south of spencer nebraska about 5 miles. At the time the river was really low but there was a main stream of the river that was apprx. 20 feet wide and about 5 to six foot deep. The average big man couldnt of crossed itto save his soull. I was hunting geese on the river with a friend of mine and we were on a sand bar right along the main channel. Wehad set out a few decoys and were beded down for night about 1 ocklock in the morning. There was nature at its fines everything was making noise. And the moon was as full as you could get it. You could walk and see your shadow. But a few minutrs later it was just like God shut the record player off. Every thing went deathly quiet. My buddy and i got up and was looking around and spotted a creature walking on two feet from our right to left. It was apprx 200 foot away from us. I looked at my friend and we both spoke profanity. But we both realized that this creature was going to cross the river. Well it hit the river and instead of walking across the stream it walked up stream. there was white water coming over the top of this creature. It went apprx 100 feet and crossed the river and went up into the hills and into the cedars. To our shock amd amazement we didnt try and find it or any tracks. But it had come out of a group of trees. with swamp between it and the river. I am assuming that it was traveling up the river to the rocky mountain.
I live in the desert but I love watching this series. Lots of beautiful shots of forests, rain, mist, etc. I believe bigfoot exists as I am from upstate NY which is all forests and lakes and has many sightings.
My experience happened about 90 miles north of this area. The entire area of Northern California is, from what I felt, Chiye Tanks’s ancestral home. They’ve been there for a very long time.
Thank you Survivorman, I really have enjoyed these Episodes on BIgfoot. In this particular episode I can clearly see the head and face of a Sasquatch up in the cedar tree in the middle of the screen at the 36:17 mark. I've been trying to find others as well and will try to post timestamps on possible sightings that I come across as I continue to watch the series. Thanks again

@@cutlasssupreme6984 I have been out with my Ghilley suit along busy hiking trails. With a number of people walking past me as I sat on a hill side. 5 feet from the trail and I was never noticed.
Ouff, good one! The only skeptical thought I may have had was that maybe that tree that fell was the dead head making the knocking noise. But if the noises continued after your fire was started, you KNOW, that's not the case. And I'm 100% a believer, just to be clear. But I'm also an Empath. When you said you were provided with dry wood, I was in tears because I knew instantly it was a gift and you had proven your worth. I'm also sure you found one of their, "knock," trees. Nothing more will send out that hollow thunk than a big ol' hollowed out cedar. That bark looked pretty beat up from the outside too. And it also just came to me that that's exactly the reason why they haven't had to interfere with you Les. You respect the woods while you're in there, you don't need to be reminded. 🎯❤️🇨🇦
Really interesting you mentioned your gear malfunctioning. We just had a similar experience while investigating a site here in Australia. A piece of electronic gear that has never played up suddenly decided to malfunction as soon as we began filming. It lasted several minutes before we were able to get it working correctly. It's never done this before and I tried to reason it away but I had this niggling thought in my mind that this was caused by something other than a basic malfunction. I've had gear fail because of rain and humidity but not malfunction the way this did. It was like something was making the controls react a certain way I couldn't override. Weird stuff!! Cheers, John
I love these episodes. So good 👍 I remember watching them when they originally aired. Bigfoot will be found when Bigfoot wants to be found. Humanity isn't ready.
I agree. It is crazy how humanity is, "waking up", and we are getting more and more B.F. vids and sightings. B.F. are inter dimensional spiritual beings that are capable of doing things that we have forgotten.... Peace

We will eventually develope our perception to a degree which will afford us a deeper perception and thus perceive the presence of these Marvellous beings
I’ve commented a few times but that ending was very powerful. I am still very sceptical watching this far in. And still haven’t seen anything that will convince me. But I still feel very strong about les’ opinion and will take it seriously as he is the one out there and I really feel he is genuine in his opinions about the situations he’s in. Love this shit and how raw it actually feels
And that is what makes Les da man. He does such a thorough rule-out that all you have left is undeniable proof or something that can't be rationally explained away by the skeptics.
It is fascinating that putting yourself in the state of mind of "searching for bigfoot/sasquatch" lets you see the forest through a totally different eyes. One that makes even broken branches in a forest of trees phenomena needing explanation. Or that shapes in the mud become footprints. That it motivates you to build a fire and not give up.
Hello. I'm not sure who from Les Stroud's crew will see this, but I hope they will. I'm not sure what Season it was but Les actually filmed a Bigfoot or something Bi-pedal moving across the trail behind where he and Todd Standing just left. I first saw it when the Episode first aired years ago, but found it again on TH-cam. The Title is: "Survivorman Bigfoot | Episode 1 | Alberta | Les Stroud | Todd Standing" The context: Les and Todd had just heard and reacted to a whoop sound to their left. After a brief pause and acknowledgement they moved on down the trail. While Les is narrating the camera picks up an image moving from right to left behind him over his right shoulder. Time in the video is 24:10 thur 24: 26. The exact moment is 24:21. Hopefully some viewers will look this up as well.

That's awesome! Thank you for sharing this story. Perhaps Sasquatch was testing you as well. Have you run into Mr. Gimlin since then?

My sister and her husband own a ranch in northern Washington state. As she says, you can walk 700 miles north into Canada, and never get out of the forest. And once you get there, choose a direction, and you can do it again. Yes, a creature of that size could easily live there.

“Most native cultures don’t fear Sasquatch. They respect them”
Well … look up a list of native names for the creature and their actual meanings.

Les. i have been a bigfoot believe for a long time.

Your a brave man Les, I'm not so sure I would be able to walk those hills and trails. I do so look forward to your next videos on big Foot.

The "trying to light the fire " part of the video was FUCKING AWESOME, Mr Stroud thank you for this.
