Les should definitely check out the Sierra Camp that was highlighted on Missing 411 The Hunted. Maybe he can get the camper to take him there and tell his stories again. Their audio recordings are the most compelling I’ve heard.

Agree with all. I live in Poland in suburb of Warsaw near forest, and I also spotted these 'tree truck structures'. Also in my place there is a Wendigo and people been bited. Maybe thats why Humama migrated to higher place
He actually totally believes in Bigfoot and has encountered them many times. He just making show. He actually captured a Bigfoot in the trees on camera by accident.
The fact that nobody can get a clear HD shot of this creature, we can't find bones, corpses, better evidence than anecdotes, is enough to keep the door pretty closed on this. Tell me when they find a corpse or a living specimen would be best, otherwise I remain unconvinced.
@@michaelwhitewolf6988 he makes more money doing these than all the other survivorman combined! There has never been any good proof of this animal... it's bullshit
Les, I don't know if you will ever see this comment and or reply to me but here it goes anyway. I've recently been watching all of your Bigfoot videos. When I came across the episode you did in these texts it brought back memories from 1976 when I was 10 years old. We were at our deer lease just south of the Alabama coushatta Indian reservation and north of Woodville Texas. A couple of deer had been harvested that evening and we were having a good time by the campfire eating supper and reminiscing over the days hunt. I went around the back of a barn to get some more wood for the campfire and it was the area where we had cleaned the deer to process them. The gut piles we're left laying there close to the woodland for we had cleaned the deer that were hanging from a big oak tree limb. When I walked around the back of the barn I smelled something that was very foul and I knew that the entrails from the deer refresh but I shine my flashlight in that direction. That was when something moved and my flashlight landed on something very dark but Harry and it stood up the eye shine that I saw moving no more than 30 ft from me was probably at least between 7:00 and 8 ft off the ground and I could hear heavy breathing. That lasted for about 5 seconds and I heard a growl and it turned and ran off into the woods and I did the same except I ran back to the campfire for my dad and the others were at and told them the story. They just laughed at me but I know what I saw and they quit laughing at me the next morning when they saw the footprints in the mud by the creek right behind the barn where the deer had been processed. Mr Les Stroud I'm a subscriber of your channel and I love watching your videos and I truly hope that you are the one that eventually proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that what all of us who have had these encounters no is real. I hope you get the credit for bringing forth the evidence that once and for all shuts the people up that say that Bigfoot, Sasquatch or whatever else they are known as is real. Keep up the good work and God bless your fan the Texas Big Bear.
People that don't hear or see what you did, will never believe unless they experience it too. Just outside tonight, in the pitch black dark about 50 feet away down by my creek I heard large branches pop. Not snap......pop. definitely large pieces of wood. There's no bears around here either. Then only seconds later about 20 feet or less away when I was walking away, I heard a loud low tone hiss sound. The small animals here that do hiss have higher pitched hisses. I got super chills when I heard that (and I do now thinking about it), but I went inside to get my large machete. Something for the next 30 minutes was hanging around down there, but never came past the wood line. I had a fire going too. The sounds stopped as soon as my friends got back from the store. Maybe I was being hunted? When I shined my phone light into the woods, I could swear I saw a quick glimpse of a yellow glowing eye, but I can't confirm it. It was so quick. I live in a fairly populated area so I doubt it was a "big foot", but what could be large enough to pop branches that thick? Again, there's absolutely no bears around here.
We need more of Les Stroud regardless of the series. I have learned so much and my interest in bushcraft and survivalism and just camping and hiking in general. Les has been the base for which propelled myself to want to grow and learn these sometimes simple yet life saving techniques.
Hey Les! I am a professional wildlife photographer and I’ve been in nature for many years studying animal behavior and birds. Something I do often to attract certain bird species is play recordings of their calls off my phone or a JBL portable speaker, if the birds are in the area, they come right in my area to check me out where I can shoot them. I was thinking, in the previous episode where you played the recording from your witness of a suspected big foot, you should isolate that video clip and play it on a speaker out in the wild where you are in hopes you get a response and bring them in (if you want haha) I have had much success with this method and getting stunning closeups of rarer bird species and other wildlife. It’s worth a shot! Love these episodes!
Agreed, and that's also because he isn't fake like so many other programs these days. I hope he keeps it real and doesn't add a bunch of bs to add to anything because he doesn't have to! ✌️👍
@@sc0tte1-416 I agree, the only script is almost all written by nature. Remember the episode in Temagami Ontario? Temagami is about 30 -40 kms from the start of The Boreal Forest in Ontario along Yonge Street/Highway #11. Yonge Street starts near Lake Ontario a Great Lake.
😂 He's not very smart then. All you'd have to do is put two cameras facing each other and no one would be able to disturb them without being recorded. Almost always, they put cameras facing away, and that just makes me suspicious of their intentions.
les, if you see this, in texas they were there, but all the infarred comming off the cameras night vision kept them at bay. infarred is like us looking into the sun without shades. to get them in turn the infarred off on the cams and put a separate infarred source wide beam so it diffuses and covers the area allowing the cams to pick up but not running the bigfoot off. i use a 500watt infarred as protection when in the woods. when shined on their face it is like ya threw hot water on them.
I have been a Survivor man enthusiast, from his first show! It is great to wake up and watch all these new shows from his experiences! Thank You Mr. Stroud! Thank You very much!
These Survivorman Bigfoot episodes are from about 3 years ago.....though they may be new to you....not a big deal because they are enjoyable to watch whether you watched them 3 years ago & you are seeing them again for the second time or an hour ago for the first time. This was one of the very best Sasquatch series ever made...period! Yes, even the one with fringe wannabe researcher Scott Carpenter ( nice guy, just nuts) You gotta take the good with the bad too fully understand the Sasquatch Research Community. Like it or not.
Years ago I loved watching outdoors shows on survival and I could Les Stroud was the most genuine because it matched a lot of what I've learned in wilderness survival. Not like the other hosts who had army of cameramen to showcase survival and taking stupid stunt risks just to show off your skills or "toughness" that's how you die alone. With Les you really felt the loneliness that can happen when your in the woods on your own and the respect that you have to give your environment because it can keep you alive or kill you. Keep doing what you've been doing Les and being honest tons of us support you!
Humans assume it's all about them, it's not. Let me tell you, when you have an experience such as these in the deep woodlands, it changes you for ever. I'm into my 40's and, some days, I can't think about anything else and, it gets very lonely. Steve from how to hunt is also onto some great and, interesting things. I hope you two stay seperate for you're two different sources bringing awareness to this subject. Miigwetch for your hard effort and, all the money spent on gadgets Les. I have come to realize the technology you use is by far, not cheap! Keep up the great work Les and, thanks for making quarantine more tolerable for us who are in urban and, rural area's. Positive Vibrations To Everyone!
I never miss Steve's episodes. He's all about the people who've had the experience with these creatures and others not believing them or ridiculing their experience. He is not out to prove they exist, he knows they do.

Les, thank you for your approach and documenting this "phenomena" called Bigfoot. I'm a skeptic/fence rider like you. But I am open minded and know that we do not know everything about our planet yet. About 15 years ago (I was 35ish and have been hunting Utah & Idaho woods with my dad; since I could walk). My dad & I experienced the "hair on our neck standing up" feeling when we pulled into an area at o'dark thirty, approximately 20-30° F and about 6" of fresh snow on the ground; after a long day of whitetail hunting in central Idaho. We both, almost at the same time...said "do you sense that?". We were still in the truck, windows rolled up & engine running. We agreed it best to go a few miles away to camp for the night. The eeriness subsided as soon as we drove away. We didn't see anything. Didn't smell anything. Didn't hear anything. But we both definitely felt something. What it was...we don't know. Drove by in the dark the next morning to hunt again, and the feeling was gone. It would be interesting to ride horses deep into some of Idaho's wilderness's areas, where truly few people go; and spend a week or 2 researching. That way, you could almost rule out hoaxing 100%. Just a thought.
Interesting that Les treats these as animals that would be captured by cameras but later in the series, as more enlightened beings that know our game. Love it!
THIS is why I feel like this is legit. This was basically a video where nothing happened, but thats all part of the game. This goes to show that this isnt about producing an entertaining show, its about the truth and science behind it. Thank you Les!
yea that other show that wont be named nothing happens but its incredibly overproduced and overdramatic. basically every snapped twig, fallen eggcorn and hoot'n owl is "thats definitely a squatch bro!" *music swells *cut to commercial* Its always in pitch dark with shitty night vision too. Yea this is about as good as a bigfoot show you can do I dont believe in it yet but I dont know
Les is the only person who "gets it" the fear and paranoia of the "boogy man" when you are out there by yourself. He is a brave brave man. I have been on many solo backpacking trips and even have been chased up a tree by a bear. Camping alone is very scary. I admire he has made a living out of this intense trial.
I have spent hundreds of days all alone backpacking, camping, hiking etc. No one ever wants to come. Bunch of city boys who'd rather screw around watching movies or playing video games. The few times anyone came, I spent more time babysitting than enjoying the trip. I never used to carry a gun. NOW, I would not go without, and that's not because of 4 legged critters. It's the 2 leggers that are really dangerous. Way too much strangeness going on out there now.
Years ago some friends and family were discussing the bigfoot topic and things we had heard while hunting in Northern California. Each of us had our own opinion of who would discover or had real sightings / experiences with the hairy dude. The Eastons or Bill Bear were at the top but my choice was Les Stroud. He is the real deal and I knew if anyone had seen or heard something it was him. Here we are today , maybe not as far along as I would like but he's still searching. I have nothing but faith in you Les. Bring us the proof and prove me right. Good luck buddy.
i was walking the board walk in the Mineola Nature preserve with my pup.....aussie, red heeler mix.... we were the only people in the area.....she was on leash.....enjoying all the smells, sounds, etc.....all of a sudden she stopped, turned around and started pulling me back....at that point, i saw nothing, heard nothing.......no birds.....just crunching sticks, undergrowth, etc......we got to my car at warp speed.....never went back....
I never have been a bigfoot/sasquatch fanatic. Seemed like it's an interesting possibility well worth research, but I wouldn't be interested in sitting for hours to look at videos. Les has me hooked. No bias, not over zealous, no exaggeration. What is, is. He is handling this with more open mindedness, scientific approach and intellectual integrity than anyone I've ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if he finally settles it on one side or the other. Epic.

The screams and baby crying is the sound of coyotes. We had a pack that lived by our house on state land. The sounds they make leave you feeling uneasy if you are not used to it. Family that lived back East came to visit and were freaked out the first night they stayed with us. Sleep with the windows open so it clear. Don’t worry the downstairs windows have bear bars so everyone was safe.
Mountain lions can scream just like a woman in severe distress, Bobcats too. They can also make chirping noises like birds. Owls can make a whole plethora of weird noises that can straight freak you out when hearing a mating pair for the first time.
I almost went into the woods at night because it sounded like a baby crying or like a cat getting killed I couldn’t tell but my friends talked me out of it

Mr. Les Stroud - thank you for the series, most interesting from a man that has experience both in technical department and also in nature department and just wants the truth behind it all.
The "tree structures" (trees "stacked" upright) at 36:41 and 36:53 look a LOT like wood caches that hunters/backpackers will make to keep wood dry (and out of the snow), and as an easy-to-see marker to find a favorite campsite in the snow.
That’s exactly what I’ve thought on several instances when they investigate those tree….teepees essentially. I can see draping a large plastic tarp around it, and you have a quickly erected tent. I’m not sure I understand what point these would have for a Bigfoot…? if they are intelligent, I wouldn’t think they would waist valuable energy erecting pointless tree structures?
Man please don't stop these uploads. Survivor man helping us survive 2020, I also love the behind the scenes stuff of your episodes. And explaining more about certain stuff. I just love all of it

I hope there's more to come! The best bigfoot series by a country mile! I appreciate Les putting the spotlight on the subject and objectively scrutinising each and every belief system within, I just hope he isn't done with it?
I really enjoy this sub-series of the show. I think Les can probably realize now that he was underestimating the intelligence of these beings and overestimating his ability to outwit them. People ask the question; How would a sasquatch know to hide from a camera or even know what it does? I like to answer this question with a question of my own; how do birds know to fly south for the winter and north for the summer; how do cats know to bury their scat ; how does an octopus know to come out of the water and take a coconut to hide in when sharks are nearby? The sasquatch are highly intuitive creatures that are highly evolved and adapted to meet their needs of survival. The forrests are their domain and they are as familiar with them as you are with your living room.
I'm sorry but that is not a good argument. Animals have instincts from millions of years of adaptation, cameras have only been been around a short time and trail cams only what 20 years?
Nothing ticks me off more than when people mock those who are out trying to get evidence and find out what's going on while they do nothing but sit in front of the boob-toob drinking beer and watching wrestling! Great video!
We need more director’s commentary of your BF series! It’d be great to hear some of your thoughts along the way for all of them. I’ve had my own crazy experiences in the wilderness, and I’m spent a good percentage of my life exploring nature. So, I know there is more going on than the couch surfers realize. It would be awesome to hear more of your personal thoughts on the matter, though, especially with the amount of wilderness time you have accumulated!
Love the work Les and how open minded you've been with this but reserved from being persuaded. If I'd get the chance to ever travel and do this I hope we cross paths.
Thank you so much Les for doing what you're doing. I love your approach .... your show is great .... this episode hits me because I miss being a young boy and camping with my dad out by the Lewis River it was just such great memories!

Hello. I'm not sure who from Les Stroud's crew will see this, but I hope they will. I'm not sure what Season it was but Les actually filmed a Bigfoot or something Bi-pedal moving across the trail behind where he and Todd Standing just left. I first saw it when the Episode first aired years ago, but found it again on TH-cam. The Title is: "Survivorman Bigfoot | Episode 1 | Alberta | Les Stroud | Todd Standing" The context: Les and Todd had just heard and reacted to a whoop sound to their left. After a brief pause and acknowledgement they moved on down the trail. While Les is narrating the camera picks up an image moving from right to left behind him over his right shoulder. Time in the video is 24:10 thur 24: 26. The exact moment is 24:21. Hopefully some viewers will look this up as well.
Loved this episode! You one crazy booger! David Pallides wood um his pants seeing you out there all alone etc! But what you're doing is some good work. Hats off to you. I used to be a skeptic but am now a believer. I also live in a remote forrest. I found a very large footprint last winter in the mud right near where I see some of what looks like structure half a mile up my gravel driveway which need to check out tomorrow with aid of binoculars and camera to see if what I,m seeing is two small nests. There is a large X right in back of them and broken trees it could be nothing but I,ll see. Upon moving back last summer I heard whoops but one time only. I can't tell my family they think it,s all nonsense anyway. They live out here too. We live in GA and around us is nothing but hundreds and hundreds of empty forrested acreage and bodies of water and tons of deer.
Les, You are an incredibly gifted and knowledgeable, North American woodsman. I admire your rational objectivity. Thank you for all your wonderful videos. Did you get any DNA from any of the locations you travelled to?
There are more people than ever, but at the same time A TON of wildlife is making a comeback. It's because the populace doesn't really spend much time outdoors anymore and we tend to live in large metropolitan areas, that don't constitute much landmass. They are starting to find mountain lions as far east as indiana and missouri, that was unheard of 10 years ago. I personally think that sasquatch isn't in danger (as a whole) at all. They could be in danger in select areas of North America, but I can't imagine there being a declining population, given all of the sightings we've had. I think this animal is very real and I think it needs to be protected, but I also know that we're doing better with the environment in recent years, so I'm optimistic about the future of wildlife populations.
From my limited experience camping in wilderness areas, I can say animals are not afraid to investigate your camp. The soft pad landing of a mountain lion close, a bear drifting by or just a pack of coyotes or a wolf scouting around. You get used to the sounds and when something unusual happens that can’t be explained, you want to learn more. Just the fact that Les is spending time and resources on BF tells me he has had those unusual experiences.

We need more of this series.
Amazon Prime video has the series.

I was thinking, in the previous episode where you played the recording from your witness of a suspected big foot, you should isolate that video clip and play it on a speaker out in the wild where you are in hopes you get a response and bring them in (if you want haha)
I have had much success with this method and getting stunning closeups of rarer bird species and other wildlife. It’s worth a shot! Love these episodes!

I love how Les tries to figure out different ways to outsmart Sasquatch with the cameras. He is such a master in his craft and so enjoyable to watch

Scott Carpenter is anything but a nut.

The Gold Standard is "Monster Quest". PERIOD! Nevertheless, for a Canadian production Les Stroud is very entertaining.
You’re just rambling
Interesting that Les treats these as animals that would be captured by cameras but later in the series, as more enlightened beings that know our game. Love it!
THIS is why I feel like this is legit. This was basically a video where nothing happened, but thats all part of the game. This goes to show that this isnt about producing an entertaining show, its about the truth and science behind it. Thank you Les!
yea that other show that wont be named nothing happens but its incredibly overproduced and overdramatic. basically every snapped twig, fallen eggcorn and hoot'n owl is "thats definitely a squatch bro!" *music swells *cut to commercial*
Its always in pitch dark with shitty night vision too.

Les saved my life during these quarantined times with these episodes!
The fact that you believe this crap is hilarious
I have spent hundreds of days all alone backpacking, camping, hiking etc. No one ever wants to come. Bunch of city boys who'd rather screw around watching movies or playing video games. The few times anyone came, I spent more time babysitting than enjoying the trip. I never used to carry a gun. NOW, I would not go without, and that's not because of 4 legged critters. It's the 2 leggers that are really dangerous. Way too much strangeness going on out there now.
@@metalhead9849 Sad thing is that the animal that scares me most out in the wild is other humans. I don't go unarmed anymore either!

It's like, I know he's not gonna find Bigfoot. But I can't stop watching anyway
i was walking the board walk in the Mineola Nature preserve with my pup.....aussie, red heeler mix.... we were the only people in the area.....she was on leash.....enjoying all the smells, sounds, etc.....all of a sudden she stopped, turned around and started pulling me back....at that point, i saw nothing, heard nothing.......no birds.....just crunching sticks, undergrowth, etc......we got to my car at warp speed.....never went back....

Peacocks sound like dying women and crying babies too.
Yes coyotes are noisy. People hear things and see things that they are not familiar with, and make up stories.
Sounds like big foot
Mountain lions can scream just like a woman in severe distress, Bobcats too. They can also make chirping noises like birds. Owls can make a whole plethora of weird noises that can straight freak you out when hearing a mating pair for the first time.

Good morning Sir Stroud! Blessings upon you and our hairy brother of the forest.
Man, this series has been so intense and lovin it. Keep up the awesome work Les!

I'm legit so excited to watch this series
Legit huh? Not JUST excited but literally legit so excited for sure man
@@mattysee24 to legit to quit!
The tree structures remind me of bushcraft shelters I’ve watched guys make on TH-cam
Can't wait god bless Les you are the man love ya merry Christmas and happy new year from Huntington WV
Thank you Les..you are the best researcher /documentary maker I've watched! I wish you would research cryptids full time..no need for any tv crews..tv is going out..just be a U tuber...your videos have thousands of views already..you can be monetized..and also get patreon..have your own regular U tube channel like many others and never have to deal with directors other than yourself.👍😊 Merry Christmas!!🌲 and thanks again..👍😊
I remember watching Les before the advent of the selfie stick lol.
Merry Christmas Les, glad to see another one coming
Enjoyed Les's interview with Curt at TOE (Theories of Everything). This interview is worth watching.
I never go in the woods without a firearm. That cougar being a few feet from your tent is the perfect example of why.
It would had been a perfect example if the cougar had been aggressive!
No aggression - no danger!
If you would use your superior mind instead of a gun you would be a perfect example for a real human!
Superior "mind" is bringing the best tools for the job of self preservation, and not much is better than a firearm.

If this is your only way to face nature - stay at home and watch TV!
This is the best way for you of "self preservation"!
@@diderichlangmannen Ha I don't think so you prob. have never been deep in the woods before.
@@tuberider2077
Don't worry.
I have been eye to eye with bears, wolves and wolverines, big moose and horny deer bull. I never had to use a gun.
So what?
I would love to see Les do a live show.
Prediction...no clear answers by the end of this series . But I'm still going to watch !
But the freaking apple vanished.
If he found Bigfoot he could not tell us about it. If it got out that they existed then they would be hunted to extinction. We humans are too stupid to not F it up. Sure maybe me and you might not but someone would have no problem.
I was watching a documentary from 1972 and they didnt find Bigfoot but they said " With technology advances the chances of finally catching one is inevitable , Any day now the questions will be answered " Fast forward to 2020. We still havent gotten one. All the famous researchers have come and gone. It's sad but.......anyday now😀LOL !!!
@@CANControlGRAFFITI Todd Standing shot it down with a pellet air rifle. Or he ate it.
@J Han Thats right. We have video, audio, photos, cave paintings, eyewitnesses. etc..The proof is overwhelming. But still no body or bodyparts. The big question is why not.
What a great source of information and a great how to in the field of bigfoot research.
I like how les has played with so many scent chips but when he pulls out a human scent chip hes like "oh! Oh! God!"🤣👌
