WRT Costa Mesa - Harbor Blvd... All the SoCal True Zero gaseous stations (those with single dispenser) and several of the gaseous Iwatani stations are supplied by Linde which has been having issues since Sept 2023. It was sporadically supplying some stations through March, but none since then.

At 4:49, u almost got me to spill my coffee there 😂. I'm not too sure if there is a need to worry about scaling up or selling more mirai anytime soon. Realistically speaking, ppl would probably be happy if they could just keep existing stations operational reliably. i love having alternative fuel options (ice, ev, hfe, natural gas etc..) so i wish this could eventually work out, but its just hard to see this at the moment, in this market, where ppl are unhappy with ev charging infrastructure. If u do any research on mirai (ur videos included), unless u have special reasons (making content, test or whatever else....), i would find it hard to believe someone would pick this over other available options. If you have to pick, would you go back to the Mirai once your fuel card runs out 🤭...?

I went back after 3.5 years of my 2021 lease (so 6 months paying out of pocket). Purchased a 2024 XLE with a new fuel card. My circumstances of low mileage driving and high MPGe, it works for me. Also, I believe price of hydrogen should decrease within a year given LCFS credits should return to levels from two years ago and with federal grants for hydrogen hubs, supplies should increase which should also decrease prices.

What is the absolute cheapest a Kg of Hydrogen costs in California? Where is the cheapest station?

Toyota Mirai blows away in quality an craftmanship to a Tesla. The problem with the Mirai they need to get the infrastructure more station pump, realibility not to be offline so often and price to be 13- 15 kg or less. Give it time Totota is working to fix this issue.
Toyota Mirai and Lexus LS500 share a platform, and some say the Mirai has a Lexus-like feel. The Mirai is built on the GA-L platform, which is rear-wheel drive (RWD) and high-strength. The Mirai has a refined demeanor and a solid, big-car feel, similar to the LS500. The Mirai's faux-leather SofTex upholstery is also said to be similar to the Lexus.
Mirai Club thanks for your TH-cam updates.

I don’t understand how paying over $100 for a full tank of hydrogen is better, there are much better options like hybrid imo.

I did 315 Highway miles without charging in my 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance and I had 24 miles(8%) of charge left. I charged at my house before I left so it cost me about $7 for the full charge. My car has 615 HP and more cargo and interior space. How will Hydrogen ever compete with that?

Once hydrogen supplies increase (e.g. through $7B hydrogen hub grants) and/or LCFS prices stabilize, price of hydrogen should decrease. You are fortunate to be able to charge at home. Not everyone is able to, so there should be options in order to reduce use of fossil fuels.

@@bruhabox Hydrogen is never going to go down in price. It never has and it never will. It is just too inefficient and wasteful. Years from now you will still be saying just wait for the price decrease that will never happen.
