Lyrics:
If I never come through
Yes, it haunts me
Sunny days, I'd miss you
Yes, it haunts me
First you see it, then you feel it, now I'm caught
And we're making our own thing
Now I'm following you out to the coast
If I never come through
If I never come through
Don't tell me I lost a step
Criss-crossed in the wrong direction
Found myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
Standing there in a purple dress
Point my eyes in the right direction
Find myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
La-la-la-la, la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la, la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la
From a missed connection
I lost myself in this maze (La-la-la-la)
Yes, it haunts me (La-la-la)
Felt it slipping sideways (La-la-la-la-la)
Yes, it haunts me (La-la-la-la)
But I see it and I feel it in my soul
Is there something I'm missing?
Should I follow this wherever it goes?
I will always come through
I will always come through
Don't tell me I lost a step
Criss-crossed in the wrong direction
Found myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
Standing there in a purple dress
Point my eyes in the right direction
Find myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
Only as alone as I want to be
Passing all the people standing on the street
The fallen fruit of a family tree
A crystal ball and the odyssey
Did you find whatever you were looking for?
Had to open every single door
I get the feeling you've been here before
From a missed connection
Don't tell me I lost a step
Criss-crossed in the wrong direction
Found myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
Standing there in a purple dress
Point my eyes in the right direction
Find myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
La-la-la-la, la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la, la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la
(La-la-la-la, la-la-la)
And they're falling to see it
(La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la)
We'd be fools to waste it, but we can
(La-la-la-la, la-la-la)
Falling to feel the heat again
(La-la-la-la-la)
From a missed connection

Joshua Tree was where we started this new album, Living Mirage, and it set us on a path to find a deeper connection to each other and to push our songs to a new place. Thanks for watching Missed Connection! Much more soon.
❤️THATH
The Head and the Heart You’ve been a part of me for years and years, and I’m so happy to see how much you all have grown and found yourselves ❤️❤️
Patiently waiting for a video for Honeybee....
@The Head and the Heart thanks for putting me in a good mood. Great music that has “feeling” always boosts my mood!!
I thought I recognized it. I lived in Palm Springs a few years. I know exactly where you guys were in this video. Fantasic hook in this song by the way. Great job guys. Keep the great music coming!!
Was this filmed in Joshua tree or twentynine palms? I use to live out there two years ago, awesome song and video!
Was driving and the car beside me was blasting this song and all I could remember were some words and I looked them up. Now I’m here. Thank you stranger next to me haha
*Dude this happens to me a lot, not people in the car next to me but when I'm out in public. It's funny because I don't like talking to people but when it comes to music I'll break that wall and ask a motherfucker what song he's playin lol.*
It was probably me
I don't blame that motorist for blasting this song, it's pretty great.
Windows down!
I love hearing about people uncovering music for themselves in this way.....AWESOME!....certainly the right "connection"
When I first heard this song, it sounded like it's existed for decades. And I mean that in the best way possible.
Yes!!!
Though is was a classic from a while back. I heard it, and though "I remember this from when I was younger" then saw the date. Amazing
Same!! I actually just heard this for the first time today, even though I was a fan of THatH back in the self-titled day (I just lost contact with what they were putting out). I swore I heard the song somewhere before; like a song that had to have been a classic on the radio back when. But nope...
It's just a damn good song.
dude seriously when i first heard this i fr thought it was one of those songs from my childhood
3 years this month. A truly missed connection.
it slices through me like a dull knife sometimes.
C'est la vie!
Nous ne pouvons pas regarder en arrière!
I'm 60 and I love this song
I'm 50 and blasting this song all day. Mabey we are a Missed Connection....💜
Same here. Most listenable music I’ve heard in a long time.
33
I'm 19 and I love this song😌
I'm 12,love this song with all my heart.
one of those songs. right as you hear the first line. you already know.
exactly
Yup. You know you love it.
Hahaha its exactly how i found this song! Heard one line and knew right away i was gonna love it!
Yeah that doesn't happen too much. Usually a song has to grow on me...
Same here just heard it on the radio now found who sings it
Heard this At Boston Logan airport.
Thank you terminal auto DJ.
That really made me laugh .
my ex showed me this song. at least I got one good thing from that relationship!
A truly timeless song. I could’ve been convinced it was 30+ years old
Nahh. It sounds good but it doesn't sound 30 years old. It's got some MGMT vibes.
Heard this on the radio a while ago and knew immediately it'd be a favorite. Melody is smooth af.
You’re lucky to have heard it on the radio.i had to hear it by chance in Shazam’s suggested songs. Wouldn’t have known otherwise 🙃
I just heard it on the radio a few days ago
I wish I had local radio stations like yours lol
Still on the radio in 2023.
Heard this on the radio on the way to take care of my grandmother. She passed. This song is a slippery slope of love and sadness
i have a lot of respect for this group. instead of pounding album after album they make something you can listen to for a life time.
So well said !
Indeed
Timeless!
Honestly thought this was an 80s song Ive never heard. Excellent. A def stand out in todays under achieving music seen...
If you can’t find amazing modern music in a time when technology makes it offensively easy, the problem isn’t with the music.
@@InertiaCreeps If you cant write a complete and intellectual comment without typos in a time when technology makes it offensively easy, the problem doesn’t lie with technology. I’m sorry most music today is talentless. It’s not art. It’s marketing.
@@nobodysprophet1435 Nothing you said is wrong but an unwarranted attack regarding a typo from someone on TH-cam whos's first language might not even be English reeks of elitism.
@@chandlerscaringia5260 It wasn’t unwarranted. It was a response. I’m also not responsible for their emotions. First language or not. You said it best. I’m not wrong.
@@nobodysprophet1435 LMFAO I embrace your grammar Nazi-ism. However, you’re wrong on the larger topic. There will be more music made this year than you can listen to in your entire lifetime. I stand by my original, if typo’d, comment. If you can’t find good music in this day and age, it’s not the music. It’s you. Step away from the radio... do a deep dive on the bands you like from (I’m guessing no later than the 80’s at most) the time period of your choice and see who cites them as influences, and give those groups a listen. “Marketing” is for large labels and pop music. There are literally millions of artists/groups who don’t have a major label, and don’t do pop music. You my friend, need to open your mind and stop being lazy.
This is one of my absolute most favorite songs ever
The bass in this song is so good
Sounds exactly like the bass line from "Self Esteem" by The Offspring
Yes, it is quite awesome. Best part of the song.
Can we take a minute to appreciate how amazing this song is. Because my replay button is broke
Same
Thank you for this song. It came out when my childhood friend died at the age of 52. I Remember such epic times with her. To be 13 again and free. I miss her and this song is just so perfect.
I'm feeling you honey. Hold on tight to every one of those memories for in them lies the secret to life.
Just love this band!!
this song is the biggest surprise of 2019. I am loving it and never heard of this band before
liona1982 welcome :D
@Cindy lou Betris then why do they have music from 5 years ago on there channel
Cindy lou Betris what? You’re wrong.
Cindy lou Betris look who’s the idiot now
@Cindy lou Betris 🤣 fake news!
Sunny days I miss you..yes, it haunts me. 💙
I've heard this song on the radio yesterday and now I'm addicted, such a good vibe.
That piano piece at 1:35 is magical and so haunting. Oh yeah, and this drummer kicks ass.
I get the shivers when the voice goes high pitch.....great feel good song. America is another band fron 70's with great melodies like The Head and the Heart.
I absolutely agree with you about America! One of my faves. But I don't think I'd compare them to this band lol. Love the song though.
It does have a 70 feel the video
"I'm only alone as I wanna be."
So very true. Learning lonleyness is state of mind, not actually having to be physically alone.
That falsetto is golden!!!
Thank you starbucks! They were playing the whole album today. Bought it. This band is awesome
Yikes
I agree ☝️
Heard it while I was shopping with my girlfriend in a Victoria's Secret. Needless to say, I wasn't focusing on the models that day.
Wait people still buy music?
The voice kind of sounds like Brandon Flowers pretty lucky to have such an amazing voice
I thought it was him
@@CastrocJorge me too
Not just it, he worked hard
Yo pensé lo mismo
Yeah I, uh, I heard this, and I was positive this was from years ago. I mean like, I thought this was a “classic” from decades ago. I seriously can’t believe how new this song is.
Believe me when i tell you I'm addicted to this song. From the first time i heard it i new i was going to play it over and over. Help!!!
I listen to an adult alternative station in Southern California, and have done so for years now. It's amazing, I hear a great new song on the radio and think to myself, who can that be? Many times it is The Head and the Heart. They never seem to disappoint.
This is my favorite song🎶🎶🎶🎶🎤🎤🎤
I first heard this song at work. Everytime it comes on it makes me happy.
No missed connection here😇🍑🌊😊🌬🐊💫🐸my Lord there are no coincidences...this song...i have no doubts🌹🌹🗝⚖️
I'm 63yoa...haven't heard a song with hooks...like this...in a long time...I'm all over you guy's..great..great...
This has got some U2 vibes. Please don't be insulted. I totally enjoy it. The music, that is. The message is a bit deeper.❤
Main singer looks exactly how he sings. The hat and white shirt combined with the song makes it flawless. Amazing!
Sitting in a quarantined hotel room fighting Covidv19 virus but jamming out to great music. I live that the band posted to this wall. I instantly loved this song
U ok?

Heard this song blasting in a Florida mall and it was epic.
I’m 16 and I love this song.
Hands down their best song.
This belongs in the "it never gets old and it's a masterpiece" part of my favourite songs. Plus, those few last moments were pure art
The Head and The Heart, Thank you for existing.
Heard this at Qdoba and Shazamed it. I know the "Badadada" is so commercial now, but damnit, its catchy!
Thx for an AWESOME show at Red Rocks last week!!! Way exceeded my (already high) expectations!!
This job motivates me to leave my toxic life and start a new chapter ,do what makes you happy people

Been stuck in anyone else's head all day? Beautiful song!
How is this song not popular lol
my favorite song of the all time
They'll reach the top one day, mark my words . Hope fame don't change the way they do music.
Ah, when you can feel it in your soul and get goosebumps 💯
The official "Ear Bug of 2019". Amazing song. Well done!
Love it. I don't know why it takes so long to hit the radio. Just heard last night.
This song gives me nostalgia.
if the rest of the album is this good, its gonna be fire.
Lovely❤
Why does it feel like this was made in 2014-2016? it revives unknown memories.
What a good song and exciting vibes, much love from Tunisia and all Africa
Good vibes
Damn this is the jam
Jesus, this song ticks all the boxes 💣
So soulful 👨🚀
His name was not JESUS.

Am in Africa, was streaming Japanese radio stations( yes am a weirdo) when i suddenly turned to KBVU, a radio station for Bueno Vista university when all of a sudden this jam started playing 🔥🔥🔥🔥
i've heard a concerning amount of good songs from the supermarket radio at my grocery job
Never heard of this band until the other day, looked this song up, its genius. Very underrated song and band.
They're modern day hippies and I love them for it!😁✌
Modern day SCORPIONS!!! ❤❤❤
Great song!
I was in Kohls and heard it and looked it up….timeless song…
Very very nice. Well done.
One of the best sounding songs in a while
I have more fingers than modern mainstream bands that I enjoy. This is one of them bands.
I heard it in a shop .After one line i Shazam it.I knew that it would be a exceptional song .
I'm love this song, the rhythm is really catchy but the voice of this singer is the reason why I press the replay button 😊
This is the only song that EVER on the radio. So I figured I’d check out the video since the songs been drilled into my head over and over again🤓
I’m a straight man but this man’s voice is sexy. And this song is amazing.
In love with this song! All the way from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰👩🦲&❤️
This has turned into quite the earworm for me. I'm not even mad about it.
Yeah it's an earworm.
