    I was lucky to get permission to photograph the thermal pools after opening hours, around 15 years ago now. This was before various renovation projects and looked fabulous, faded and ancient. Got some awesome shots! I used to stay in the Hotel and go down for my morning soak at 6am as it opened. Ahhh luxury indeed.

    Just visited the place and was sorely disappointed. Although it was a Thursday morning, the place was packed, it took me almost an hour to find a locker that worked, and it was very loud. Also, some pools were closed for renovation and there were hardly any lounge chairs available to relax. Architecturally it is stunning, but the experience was anything but relaxing. The inflated entrance fee of 10.500 HUF (27 EUR) is not worth it, in my opinion. I would much rather go to the Rogner Therme Bad Blumau in Austria, which also has amazing architecture, a large thermal bath landscape and actual quiet areas where you can truly relax.

    This video shows the beauty of the inside. I also made a video but mine is not good as this video. I need to learn how to shoot.

    Hello. Swimming pool is just the bigger one? Thank you

      Hi Mariana, yes the swimming pool is the big middle one, for that cap is required, but it can be bought at the Spa Store. That one isn't as warm as the other thermal pools :) I mainly enjoyed just sitting and relaxing in the hot water :)

    It isn't the 'last chance' really as it's closed only because it is getting renovated 🙂

      Yeye, but it will be a very long time until it gets opened, and I sure hope it it wont feel like an eternity (Looking at you, Rácz Fürdő :D)

      @@harryshouse007 Haven't heard anything... and considering situation with energy prices and inflation, I don't think they will re-open anytime soon, which is a pitty :(

      Hoping to be back in my beautiful land of spas next year and venturing to Arpad, Szeckesfehervar and Torok, Eger. Very exicted,

    Do you have to bring your own towel ?

    • @StuffedCabbageAdventures
      @StuffedCabbageAdventures  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's advised to bring your own towel and flipflops since the place sells them at horrible prices 😊

    Are there any nude baths or spas like Austria?

    • @StuffedCabbageAdventures
      @StuffedCabbageAdventures  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey there! Nude beaches and baths aren't really a thing around here. Some Spas have nude Saunas but that's really it.
