Would have been helpful to show exactly how you install the o-ring on the floating valve. To those that do not know, the flat side of the o-ring seal goes downward against the valve. (JD Jetting has pics showing the correct install of that critical o-ring seal) Also, on some factory service manuals with some bikes (Suzuki DRZ400 comes to mind), they showed the floating valve installed upside down on the parts schematic! Andrew mentioned this incorrect upside down valve install when he first broke down this carb....NO BUENO! So folks, DO NOT screw-up the valve orientation/placement and make sure the valve seal o-ring is correctly installed!
did this affect on hangin idle? im struggling to find my culprit.
Hanging idle means your pilot jetting or fuel screw are set too lean. Back the fuel screw out 1/8 turn at a time, blimp the throttle and give it 10 seconds to stabilize until idle doesn't hang.
If you need to go 3 or more turns out, your pilot jet is too small.
