After the repair is your steering feeling a little bit different from before? for eg, reluctant to return back to center position, hard feeling, not smooth etc. What work you did in laithe ? My city also has steering rack issue and mechanics are recommending to change the entire unit.

Hello nakul. I have a Honda city 2010 model. I am having an issue where when I make a sharp turn there is a click click noise from the steering. It is I believe the same issue. I have recently changed the suspension struts after 70k on odometer. So suspension is I believe not a reason for the problem. Can you guide what can be done next. I am from delhi. thanks

This is 2009 There is no such thing as when this usually happens... Because it all depends on what kind of road you're driving on and how you drive... Suspension can last even 1.5 lak kilometres or can go bad even in 25k kms
Hi m facing same problem..after watching your video i went to a local mechanic n checked the entire suspension system arms , shockers end..replaced the bol joints everything is fine..but issue with the the steering rack ,so sent it for repair and even after repair sound is coming... Please do reply
@@nklkhanna yes springs r fine they removed n checked it infront of me...yes the problem is with steering rack repair wasn't done properly...they said most of the times repair doesn't work.

We had this same problem aur humne ise showroom me dikhaya. Unhone ₹1.5 lakh bola😱 pura ka pura steering column change karna padega bole. Then ek garage me dikhaya to he said he'll do it for 5k although there's not much of a guarantee. We did it and as he said steering got tighter a little bit but after around 5-6k I again feel it's making noise, not the same as before just a little bit.

Same issue with my Hyundai i20 replaced steering rack for 28000, two years ago. Now experiencing knocking sound from front end of car. Planning to sell car, one less thing to worry about.
I Had also done the same work of steering rack and alignemnt man told it will be little hard because the bushes are new in the steering rack it will take time to be free means chala chalake hojayega hardness nikal jayega u r aslo facing thsi same problem after doing all this sterring wrk

Could be axles... Could be steering rack or something else... Would recommend you to bring the car to the garage so we can check

Did you remove spring from shockers and check it?
There is a possibility that maybe steering rack wasn't repaired properly

There's a bush inside the rack which warns out and breaks ... When it breaks it causes lots noise and rattling...
