I disagree with Riju being the weakest of the four sages. Even without her lightning powers, her master of the sword is still consistently more effective on the battle field compared to Sidon's Trident; though Tulin can surprise foes with his bow. And with lightning, she may not have control unless Link uses an arrow as a lightning rod, but the striking power if above Yunobo's cannon balls. She is still easily below Mineru, but I at the very least would have put her above Sidon, most likely Tulin, and the lack of control would at least be enough reason to put her below Yunobo.
I know I initially said I agree with the rest of the list, but looking back. The sages are easily above the temple bosses and Riju mastered her lightning strikes and took out Queen Gibdo on her own. As did the other sages against the other bosses. Also, Mineru easily can own Phantom Ganon via her mech and did you even see how Rauru did that Kamehameha like light beam that vaporized all those Moldura? And even Ganondorf feared pure brute strength wasn't good enough for him to go against Rauru?
Yunobo should be the lowest the only thing he has going for him is the abillity to roll and all Gorons have that. Its not even goron sage exclusive. and Sidon is atleast the second strongest. He has the strongest abillity for actual combat he can take any hit. It could be from ganondorf and it works.
@@nathanpfirman625 That makes sense on paper, but in execution. That leaves out the fact that Gorons are very strong in general. On average, Gorons are considered the strongest race in Hyrule excluding deities and creatures that are just pure monsters. And he still hits a lot harder than Sidon or Tulin can.
Sidon's ability barely hurts most foes unless they're fire elemental or muck covered. And it's good for defense but I found it useless compared to just either dodging or using shield to repel an attack. Though if "Strength" is being argued, I can see him being stronger than Tulin since his water attack is still more "Deadly" than Tulin's wind gust.
Anyway, after rereading a lot of the comments bringing up some valid points, I would revise the list like this. Adding no new characters or removing them either.
15. Grandmaster Kohga (Has a big clan and lots of craftsmanship and also has crazy high durability. But he still backfires everything he attempts)
14. Marbled Gohma (Can be easily crumbled by Bomb Flowers that Gorons are naturally immune to and smashed by a naïve Goron at that)
13. Mucktorok (Polluted Lanaryu providence, but can be washed away by large blasts of water. And Sidon managed to defeat him single handedly later on)
12. Coldera (Much more durable than the previous entries and when spikes are scattered, some strong rise and fall strikes can penetrate it, but the snow storm is clearly a much stronger feat than simple corruption. And the one I consider the weakest of the 4 Sages now was able to defeat it single handedly)
11. Queen Gibdo (She has a mass sandstorm and a whole swarm of gibdo, which is far more threatening then the aforementioned Temple bosses)
10. Tulin (His wind ability is extremely useful, but not the most powerful. But he has flight and skills with a bow that he managed to used to defeat Coldera single-handedly)
9. Sidon (His ability might be the weakest offensively barring Tulin's wind, it grants strong protection and thus he is able to take Mucktorok on his own. And he is fairly skilled with a Trident though not quite as mighty as the next two)
8. Yunobo (He may be cowardly and clumsy for a Goron, but he is still a Goron and thus a powerful heavy hitter that can tank anything that would smash Marbled Gohma)
7. Riju (She was young and inexperienced at first and no where near as powerful as her predecessor Urbosa, but she eventually trained herself to beat Queen Gibdo and her swarm single handedly)
6. Phantom Ganon (He is a true global threat and a repeat of Calamity Ganon)
5. Mineru (Her badass mech makes quick work of any foe including Phantom Ganon)
4. King Rauru (Initially made Ganondorf fear his might and trained Zelda to become the great Sage of Time)
3. Zelda [Bronze Medal] (She has all the powers of King Rauru and Queen Sonia and then some, especially as the Divine Dragon who restored and empowered the Master Sword)
2. Ganondorf [Silver Medal] (Obviously he would need to get high and easily should have been number one in terms of pure raw strength and he stomped early game Link. But end game Link turns the tables with all his new found powers)
1. Link [Gold Medal] (His various arm powers, time manipulation, crafting, building, ect give him the Gleeok stomping Dreadnaught abilities. And he can make the Master Sword even stronger with his crafting)
same personly i hate sidon
Fr
I'd put the bosses below the sages because at the end, each sage takes on their respective boss alone, and best them, making them more powerful than the bosses.
Exactly
Super Mario Galaxy : Good to Evil
Definitely need this to exist
The 5 sages at the end of the game each kill their respective dungeon boss in a 1v1 since they make it to link in ganondorfs second phase so they should be higher
Didn't Yunobo say he needs link to guide him when he rolls to attack?
because if that's the case how is he above riju when that's basically the same thing?
The art style in this game is gorgeous.
let me guess, some fortnite kid is going to come and say something that will ruin this comment.
Yunobo being the 2nd strongest while he sets fire to things but on a dry land it's pretty much useless. Also it's hard to get free time in battle to grab yunobo and launch him at monsters. And he can't roll himself.
Don’t forget that when Link dies: He time travels.
It has to be the leader of the yigi clan 0:43 😂
Agree with others who say that the Sages are more powerful than the bosses, although I do get that the bosses are very powerful in that they pollute whole areas of the map, so I can see that point.
Rauru should definitely be more powerful on the list to me.
Can’t yunobo not control his own roll though??? He claims he can’t see while doing it
Good point
my personal ranking of the sages, not based on usefulness, but based on power would be from worst to best: Tulin, best ability but still young, riju, older and has the strongest potential, Yunobo, strong but clumsy and pretty timid, and then Sidon, even though he has the worst ability he is the most skilled fighter
Id argue sidon has the best ability. Being able to trigger being wet not only gives you heat/hot weather resistance, it also doubles zora weap dmg. Making zora weaps some of if not the most practical strongest in the game.
@@RubenRyb66 but the usefulness is quite limited and there are other stronger weapons without using zora weapons
@@enochsaursy6408 other than abusing royal guard durability for lynel back attacks or sneak attacks with an eightfold blade and puff shrooms, what outdoes fused wet zora weaps? I mean the gerudo weap buff only doubles the fused mats dmg. Wet zora weaps including the lightscale spear double both the weap and fuse mat, just like the first teir low durability buff on royal guard weaps and it doesnt break in 3 hits lol.
...-" Miniru, being able to survive death," THEN SHE'S NOT DEAD IF SHE SURVIVED
I find it interesting that we do not get to see what Link would look like if he were boosted by a secret stone. He just gets a taste through Rauru’s arm. The sages, most of whom, who are also combat efficient get their powers boosted. Unless the restored master sword is Link’s version of a secret stone or is Link a form of neutrality power called upon to bring balance if other powers get out of control?
Didn’t the sages beat the bosses by themselves? Sure it was offscreen but still
Not to mention, even Rauru initially fired a blast that made even Ganondorf fear facing him in brute strength alone. But Yunobo easily is above Marbled Gohma and could take him out himself easy. It's funny how of the four sages and their respective Temple bosses, it almost looks reversed; strongest sage has weakest boss and weakest sage has strongest boss.
when you were talking about rauru i was eyeyeyyeye no spoilers for me
I honestly think Totk Ganondorf is the strongest iteration of Ganondorf (not Ganon) in the entire series due to the level of destruction he was capable of and how much it took to seal him away.
You can make cases of the feats other Ganondorf's make, but I feel like none have made it close to the prowess and mass effect on Hyrule as this Ganodorf has
Yeah and not to mention even when he was imprisoned he still had enough power and malice to create the Calamity during his absence
Ganondorf is the strongest ganondorf
It's surprising how even a simple avatar of Ganon was able to devastate Hyrule harder and/or for longer periods than various previous time periods of Ganondorf have done in the past; maybe it's a sign Ganondorf got even stronger naturally even without the Triforce of Power.
But anyway, I was about to agree he should have been gold medal since in the end, Link needed a lot of help to beat him. But as the video mentioned; one could potentially craft an entire Dreadnaught full of lasers and cannons. Just like a lot of hardcore folks use to sneeze Gleeok boss fights. So while I agree with Ganondorf stomping early game Link, I think by the end, Link has the potential to surpass him.
@@IHitTheWater Did other Ganondorfs conquer all of Hyrule within a matter of days or hours with pure, brute power? No. They had to plan, build alliances, grow and expand their reaches of power, and throughout their entire process, nobody really could stop them before Link.
Totk Ganondorf, like I said, reached levels of destructiveness unlike any Ganondorf beforehand, being able to summon and revive his armies at an alarming rate, tearing through lands and viilages within minutes, weakening and shattering the master sword before Zelda revitalizes it through thousands of years, his mere leaking hatred and power from his imprisoned state creating Calamity Ganon, as well as all the regional phenomena, spread of the gloom, and the appearance of the depths a little bit after his seal is broken, still not even in full power.
Most Ganondorfs have power, yes, but a lot of them also rely heavily on tactics and waiting for the right moment, but Totk Ganondorf jumped straight into his invasion mere moments after killing Sonia and getting his secret stone. But most of all, Totk Ganondorf technically won, twice. First time after Ganondorf has already conquered almost all of Hyrule and the six sages, Rauru, and Zelda couldn't even defeat him all together, so Rauru had to sacrifice himself to temporarily seal Ganondorf away, and thousands of years in the future when Calamity Ganon devastated all of Hyrule before Zelda sacrificed herself for hundreds of years before Link defeated him. Again, I just don't see any other Ganondorf who's reached this level of pure power unless we count Link to the past where Ganondorf had the full Triforce.
Actually even better. Calamity Ganon ruled over it for 100 years and forced Hyrule into a post apocalyptic stage. And CG is merely an avatar of TotK Ganon.

Mineru's Mech is my cannonholder, it's perfect for mining gemstones and zonaite. it's a strong fighter, but it's really slow. It also is great traversing through depths, it gives light and protection against gloom, but once u get the miner's armor set, it get outshined.
Almost every ranking on this list I disagree with.
Isn’t Recall the equivalent of Zelda’s sage oath, and phantom Ganon Ganondorf’s sage vow equivalent? It wasn’t mentioned, so I thought I’d bring it up
Yeah, when Zelda gives it to you it looks exactly like the vows of all the other sages, that is something I've only noticed when watching pointcrow's no stamina run for the game.
The true strongest character is Beedle. The only character able to go from snowfield stable to dueling peaks stable as fast as link, without the ability to teleport.
I’d switch Link and Ganondorf since Link couldn’t defeat Ganondorf on his own, in fact Ganondorf owned Link in their first fight.
Link was surprised and didn't expect ganondorf to suck him off. Also wdym he can't beat him on his own? Link defeated ganondorf while he was buffed up without a secret stone of his own.
@@fakefish7268 that’s uh.. an interesting choice of words to describe that
Fun fact, if you draw your bow twice while in Tulin's gust, you will glide faster.

Before I watch, I'm going to guess #1 is Link, since he rarely ever shows limits to his combat/survivability.
Master kohga is quite strong actually since he was the first person in centuries to figure out how zonia devices work, is able live more then 100 years and able to fight against link and the monsters in the depths

i'd say if sonia would have been on this list she would atleast be behind zelda since she also has time powers but hers seem to be not as strong as zeldas as seen in the cutscene where sonia and zelda appear to lend their strenth to raaru to defeat the malduras since zeldas light shine way biger then that of sonia

I love the yigi clan
I can't believe Riju is second weakest just because Thunder is 70% accurate without help from an arrow.
0:43 the yiggy clan Hyrule’s biggest threat
The thing is though wtf happened to yunobo's champion ability was that just retconned😅?
I also disagree will Riju being the weakest sage I mean she's a child she's still learning when. You can't judge her when she' not even 20 yet at least.
She's still the weakest...
The reason why link is in first place is that he is the players character and if the player is so good at the game then link will be good at the game
Link is shown to have super strength, beyond human endurance, the power to slow down time, and the greatest fighting skill in all of Hyrule. He is canonically stated to have defeated a rogue guardian with just a pot lit, was able to defeat fully trained knights in sword combat when he was just a small child (4 years old I think), and was able to take on an entire hoard of enemies (including several lynels) at once with just the Master Sword while only sustaining a minor cut. Beyond the argument that Link is powerful because he can be as strong as the most skilled player playing the game, "canon Link" is shown and described to be ludicrously OP.

Link is not more crafty than Master Kohga, who made all of his builds by hand. Kohga survived the fall from the survace to the depths and then explored and concord the depths wearing weak armor and leaving the lightroots unlit. There is no one with a stonger will, mind, or body in the entire zelda mutli-verse in any of its constantly rebooted forms than Master Kohga. I wasn;t going to dislike your video on that ground alone but then you dropped the ending without any spoiler warning so I no longer feel petty.
I disagree with alot of this 1: riju can aim like n the castle at the end of the game she was practicing at the time 2: don't you ever disrespect sidon 3: tulin makes wind and you said he was better than a lightning attack and a water shield and attack 4: colgera can be easily taken out 5: zelda is 2nd most powerful she has light and time powers she just isn't physically strong like look what rauru did to the molduga she has that along with the power to manipulate time she literally traveled to the past by accident when it was her first time using those powers 6: and ganon should be most powerful it took link Zelda rauru Sonia, 2 generations of sages, and because of the events of botw it took all 5 champions+zelda to beat him(not to mention how these are the continueation of most all other zelda games(now i feel like a zelda nerd)

Крутой голос:) жду видео я теперь твой фанат
I agree with most of the ranking but I think ganondorf is way stronger then link. In the beginning of the game he almost managed to kill him. Link would’ve died if it was not for Rauru. When Ganondorf was on the bring of death he could’ve easily turned invisible or teleported away as he see doing in cutscenes even before turning into the demon king, instead of swallowing the stone. Therefore Ganondorf is the most powerful.
When it comes to all Zelda characters, I think Hylia, Cia and Lana, Ganon, Vaati, The Golden Goddesses, Dethl, Link, and the Windfish are the most powerful in that order.
How could Vaati, or any really of the characters you put above the Golden Goddesses be powerful than them? specifically How could any character be more powerful than Din Goddess of Power and Fire?
@@markbasilejr9808 Windfish is an eldritch God who creates entire realities accidentally by simply dreaming. Dethl beats Windfish, Link beats Dethl. I did not put Vaati above the Golden Godesses. Cia and Lana are put here for obvious reasons, Hylia is here because she created skyloft and the sky islands, Ganon is there because of his appearance in WW, ALttP, and most importantly Hyrule Warriors. Vaati is put higher than Ganon because Octavo is implied to be an incarnation of Vaati. Octavo manages to gather the full triforce, defeat Zelda, Link, and Ganon, and is the main antagonist of Crypt of the Necrodancer in his future form. Octavo proceed to kill his future self after realizing how he went to far and joined the forces of good.
Why is Raaru so low he should be above Phantom Ganon
GOOD 1UP BINGE LEGENDS OF ZELDA TEARS OF KINGDOM CHARACTERS: WEAK TO THE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😉💪
I'm still so annoyed that TOTK erases just about any memory or progress of the heroes. Zelda reduces Calamity to a singularity and the entire premise of that game was for her to master her power. Why this same power couldn't be used against dehydrated Ganondorf I have no idea why. But this is the same person who thought it was a good idea for her and the first Hyrulean queen to confront Ganondorf without Rauru or even just fodder infantrymen or constructs.
"I can no longer hear the voice inside the sword. I suppose it would make sense if my power had dwindled over the past 100 years... I'm surprised to admit it... but I can accept that."
Even if Zelda was at her full strength when she and Link encountered dehydrated Ganondorf, Zelda's power CAN'T *DEFEAT* evil; Zelda's power is limited to dispelling/weakening/sealing evil and blessing items or imbuing them with light power (or summoning the Bow of Light). This is EXACTLY why Link, Hylia's chosen hero, exists: neither Hylia nor any Zelda can directly DEFEAT evil. Hylia and every Zelda rely on Link to actually defeat or kill evil.
EVEN IF Zelda's power allowed her to directly fight evil, she wouldn't even be POWERFUL enough to stop this Ganondorf. This Ganondorf is by far the strongest villain we have seen in the Zelda series (he destroyed the Master Sword!), so her power, even if it could directly fight evil, would be *no match* for Ganondorf.
@@sandjgaez257 it is strongly implied that this game isn’t part of the normal Zelda timeline so you can’t really scale Ganon’s strength to the rest. Still very powerful though.

I think community and cooperation are the central ideas of these reboots. The heroes and their divine beasts, the sages and their secret stones. It doesn't make a lot of sense for me to put Link above the great evil he passed two entire games assembling a team in order to defeat. The demon king is by definition stronger than anyone including the hero.
Then, Link is a royal knight with a fancy sword. It is stated that Link doesn't have any chance to beat Ganondorf without the master sword strengthened by Zelda's godly powers through millennia. This is why the past sages were defeated. Zelda is the avatar of the Godess, and shouldn't be below Link.
Besides, Link is not characterized by his raw strength , but by his noble personality and courage, and therefore his ability to gather people around him. All powers he has, he was given by others stronger than him, mainly Zelda and the Zonai in TOTK (recall, fuse...). To avoid being two shot by red bokoblins all the time, you need to seek for ancient power given to you by Sonia and Rauru through shrines. The Zonai are godlike people with a vast knowledge, and none of them should be below Link.
Finally, none of the main bosses were beaten by Link alone, but with their respective sages.
I would put link way down along with the other champions, but below Mineru.
Raru is top 5
Seized Construct?
Riju weak? Huh? Her ability is in my opinion the best sage ability, tulin is still the most useful sage overall

Nah links more powerful he deafeats a king of demons and has been chosen by a god and also uses a sword that SEALS darkness
Just because Tolan's power is useful does not make him powerful
Tulin is the only sage capable of delivering a critical hit, and when he gets one, due to shooting twice in a row he often crits twice. Additionally, Tulin's sage ability is the only one that can be used to instantly kill nearly any enemy. Either by blowing them into water, or blowing a pile of bomb flowers at them.
Spoilers jeez lmao

I think that Link is the strongest even without his powers, he was able to beat Calamity Ganon with a sword and an IPad
Zelda is easily the weakest of all the characters here. Riju is much better than Sidon. Tulin is the best of the Sages. Mineru is the weakest of the sages.
Nice bait
Ok link himself in a 1v1 against ganandorf. Link loses no questions asked. Link needed 5 sages, the master sword ( which broke at the start) AND AN IMMORTAL DRAGON just to take on Ganondorf. Even if link was the only reason Ganon lost everything else he had was the only reason he himself won.
You do realise ganondorf KO’d the other sages later in the battle, leaving it a 1 on 1 between him and link. He also boosted his power even further by this point and he still lost to link.
