People are talking about Ash vs Red, but I just like how they included Ash’s creative fighting style. It’s always a treat to see how Ash thinks on his feet and make use of a situation and his pokémon’s skills in order to turn things in his favor.
@@dragonball51255 I don't know, Ash has traveled to every region by far except Paldea. And if Red sent out a Flying-Type like Charizard, Pikachu would have the advantage as an Electric-Type. The World's Strongest Trainer vs the Living Legend of Kanto? Ash clearly has Red right where he wants him. If Ash could defeat Leon, he can somehow defeat Red.

I am still waiting for the big moment. Can't wait. One of the questions I have been asking if Red and Ash were to coexist with each other, what kind relationship would they have? A brother, a cousin, a neighbor, or could know each other as Pallet Town residence, who knows. Maybe Delia has two sons.
neither actually Ash is based on Red so pretty much they're the same but different versions and Ash confirmed in the first episode of X & Y that he doesn't have any brothers or sisters

Red and ash & Gary and blue are each other game and anime counterpart respectively.. although Ash have satoshi, Shu etc manga counterparts as well , even he has his own manga story which is based on his journey in kanto and orange archipelago

They could’ve made a non canon movie where ash battles red but it’s obviously not canon because of continuity issues and stuff like that and also ash is a variant of red like ash is red but in an alternate universe and blue is Gary and remember team rocket still exists in the main anime timeline.

Ash just became World Monarch but Red was already established as a long time Living Legend, the Legendary Trainer, Battle Legend, Battle Master, and blatantly stated by the game as 'the strongest trainer in history'. So I believe it will be Ash who should really be worried when battling Red. Red was never defeated in 1v1 in this game and consistently one shotting many characters in the game. While Ash, he was more inconsistent. Immediately after crowned as World Champion, he was defeated by none other than Misty.

You do realize that the games have referenced the anime as far back as Pokemon Yellow, correct? Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have Steven reference Alain from X and Y. Anime references are all over the place in the games.
