Fun fact:sceptiles actual best feat was catching speed form deoxys who has a speed stat of 180 while sceptile has a speed stat of 120

@@tesladrew2608 I see where you are coming from, but ANIME LOGIC. Stats don’t matter. All that matters is whether or not it’s epic and who is the better trainer.
Considering that deoxys was probably higher level then sceptile if becomes more impressive.
Is it possible that Ash’s Sceptile was faster than the Deoxys by a point (based off of IV’s and Ash’s possible EV’s)?

I remember back in the Ruby and Sapphire days I used to use my copy of Ruby as my main game, and my copy of Sapphire for the version exclusives and to create secret base gyms for my Ruby copy. I remember making a character named Ash and giving him a Pikachu, Swellow, Grovyle, Corphish, Torkoal and Snorunt for his own secret base gym.
Slight correction: light ball doesn't increase Pikachu's attack stats by 50%.
It DOUBLES them.

I don't watch usually such a long video, but this video kept me hung till end!!
An optimisation you could have done in this run would have been to utilise Swellows guts ability by prepoisoning/burning it before a fight. That way due to its high speed stat it would be able to deal even more damage (and before someone mentions it guts ignores the attack drop from burn). I know you used it at the end but theres a few instances where it would have made some fights a lot easier
I love this so much! However, I reject the idea that Ash can't use Latios. If Mimey is his biological father and hence eligible for these types of runs, then his love interest/creepy stalker Latios can also be eligible. And didn't Ash ride on Latios in one of the Kalos Movies, in the battle against Hoopa's Unbound Form?

Dude although Thunder armor doesn't make any sense but the writers cleared at the beginning of the Hoen series that ash's Swellow can take multiple Thunder Attack without any problem ... so it isn't that much weird maybe that Swallow's father was a electric pokemon or a pokemon with lightning rod ability, who knows

My favourite hoenn pokemon of ash is Torkoal as he is a lot strong in his zone and is quite underrated but he is really cool and strong .People who have used torkoal in their hoenn playthrough feel the same as in my opinion.Plus Torkoal was my first shiny team member in Pokemon Emerald.
