Blastoise has awesome passives that only activates when he is hit. So vigilance will help. Also a striker build blastoise under rain will hit only slightly more than a Palkia with no rain

@Jass Annimation Red is very powerful @1/5. 3/5 is only for sync nuke which is not that necessary. Blastoise is self sufficient @ 1/5. Venusaur is good @2/5. 3/5 Venusaur only if you want to use her as a striker

Well I started playing around 6th month anniversary. Basically try to play everyday and complete all daily objectives and also all objectives whenever there is an event. For scouting prioritize pokefair unless you really like a unit or it is seasonal.

Try saving until end of banner and see if you can get enough gems for a full scout on red
