Argentinean here, some history:
The FM slide is like a 1911 because in 1989 we had inflation in the 2000% mark IIRC and after the election the new president implemented budget cuts which hit the military factories and the belgian license was left expired and we did not renew it.
This left us with no capacity to build the handgun most police and armed forces carried, so what was done to keep producing the guns was to modify the slide to what you got, that is either an FM M90 or M95 slide.
The gun still has the exact same function and general characteristics of the GP35, but there is no blatant patent infringement with conservation of the capacity to produce the most issued handgun in the country.
Production of the M90, M95 models is still running to this day, but not with the output of the 90's (in part thanks to Bersa and Beretta being selected in new trials because obviously they make more modern pistols).

Any work done to the barrel lugs or frame cam since the FMs (and practically all the modern FNs and clones) are designed for the oval cams and most lightweight frames usually having the circular cams? I know that the square lugs are supposed to work fine but I wonder for how long? I’ve read KKM will machine there barrels to work with the round cams if it’s requested.

There's very little information on these. They were only available to police over seas. You'd have to contact browning.

I was wondering if you could build me a custom frame for my Beretta 92 Slide? I want to replicate Albert Wesker's Samurai Edge frame, from the Resident Evil video game.
