    Holy moly, that is one sexy Hi Power! The fact that it's a '60s Hi Power somehow makes it even cooler. Really goes to show how time and dedication can transform a relic into a modern classic. As far as I can see, it's indistinguishable from a modern-production Hi Power in its current configuration. Congrats, man!

    That hi power is awesome (also one of my top dream guns) your channel is awesome but just one thing. When you're practicing single shots from concealment you're reholstering faster than your drawing the pistol - slow down on your reholstering or you might develop a bad training scar. Just a suggestion I don't mean any offense.

    I’ve had my hands on a 2015 for a few months “I think” I’m planning to overhaul it (safety disconnect was the first to be ripped out by my me) also going through www.BHSS.com who work on BHP exclusively ( and possibly cz’s and recently teamed up with a top Serbian (Quote me if I’m wrong) designer for a new drop in trigger assembly that also incorporates a new designed magazine ejection spring that literally shoots the mags out even more so; I plan on getting a threaded barrel and a new set of high-end springs and an rmr cut with suppressor sights. Are u making AIWB for these yet cuz im definitely want one. Didn’t realize you were a BHP fan. Nice!

      @@edge-u-cation5058 so did you do the master class spa . I’m about to do the exact same thing. That new trigger is brand new as far as ready to ship, and designed by some well known designer and mark/BHSS team. I’m getting front serrations, and the list below that BHSS manufactures and they primarily work on BHP but also CZ; I’m also Gunna take a crack at installing BHSS SFS which it so cool how it works. Catch me on IG because I would love to hear how things are coming along and may need you to trouble shoot if necessary. Or even Let me know how that new trigger is. I’ll message my # and we can text or shoot the shit; I believe they are one of the best BHP modders I’ve seen , I’m also snagging a match threaded barrel and the ultra spring kit and I am a kid waiting for Santa.

      @@xmk-zc9eb I ordered the universal spring kit with tools for full size bhps. It may be different if you have have a newer model. Mine was made in 1981 so it's considered a classic. I'm mainly keeping mine stock on the exterior minus the rosewood grips I got from hogue. Basically just freshening up the internals bc it's pretty best up and all the springs are messed up. I am going to delete the magazine disconnect so mags drop easier. I think the brand I heard of for triggers is cylinder and lock but I could be wrong

    • @xmk-zc9eb
      @xmk-zc9eb 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@edge-u-cation5058 I was told it was 2015 model by some dude on 1911 addicts forum but it’s stamped on one side bade in Belgium assembled in Portugal. Did you watch the video on BHSS’s Totally new designed from the ground up trigger assembly with a prolific firearms designer (I’m sure the designer put most of the work into it) it drops into any original or variant (even the Tisas) the trigger was built where the shoe was designed to be actually set as far back as they could get it and angled so when putting your finger on it your right in that sweet spot; the kit comes with a boat load of different weighted springs from the hammer spring to the seat springs; (3) for each component that requires spring action. It’s also adjustable for weight; from 5-6lbs to 2.5-3.5 with a short smooth take up and was said it has the best single action trigger pull out of any pistol including the 1911’s which is impressive if it’s true. They incorporated magazine ejection springs into this kit that literally shoots them mags out when depressing the mag release which was a great idea; these guys are raving over this trigger and I want put one in my pistol, along with front cocking serrations, suppressor height night sights with a milled rmr cut out that co-witnesses with the iron sites; I’m also buying one of their March threaded barrels that are so dam nice and expensive, I will also get a 30LPI checkering on the front strap but go around the serial #. Of course I’m going with the SFS system that a lot of people have no clue about but makes carrying appendix a lil more safer. Have you seen what the SFS is? If not go to their website or TH-cam and watch a video on it. It almost acts like Lionheart’s double action plus but better. I’m getting the frame hardchromed and the slide Dan Wesson Duty Coated or. Staight up nitrated check my BHP on IG under the same user name if u get the chance, I’d like to see yours.

      I once owned a brand new SA CZ75, and honestly the trigger was a hoax. It had the exact same characteristics and pull-distance as the double-action, only it's flat-faced trigger sat far too forward compared to the traditional curved style. I learned the hard way that it was nothing like their match guns.
