My wife just got a 20 dollar immersion heater on lazada for the shower water. I'm impressed, heats up 5 gallons (20L) to ideal bathing temperature in under 10 minutes. Electrocution hazard, gotta watch that. We moved from town up to the village. Much cooler up here at about 1400 feet elevation. It's 73 in the house now after a cloudy day. So sometimes it's nice to heat the water. We also got rechargeable battery camping showers to shower with since there's no running water here. Saves water versus using the tabo.

My Filipina is unusually OCD about picking up trash. She can't stand even one piece of wrapper or paper left on a table, sink, or floor. But the hair...... that will never go away and it is always piled up in sink, on the sink or the edge if the tub.
I am often guilty if leaving a package or wrapper on the table though. She freaks out about my stuff being wherever it is.... BUT the bathroom is a chaotic mess of bottles, jars, rags, brushes, cleaning supplies, beauty supplies, etc. etc. But I, the foreign guy, "leave my stuff everywhere." Hahahaha

The rack is for towels not for bras. Do not keep rubbish anywhere have a little rubbish bin. Your home is your palace. Looks like the king is getting to the point to where he moves away from the wife’s family again. There is mold at the bottom of your bathroom tiles, spray a combination of bleach and water to get rid of it.

Once a week, go in there, round up all the packets and all the little tear off pieces and throw them in the trash.
Then have the girls go in there and scrub all the tile and grout joints. Make sure you hide your toothbrush. Don’t cry over spilt milk, kind of thing. Life’s too short.

Yes, it's a matter of principles and habits and hard to change.
So, I take it as my own "thing" to pick up the corners, because (as you say) they can get into the drain.
But also, I have learned to let certain things go.
I knew a few years back, after visiting a few months , that I could adapt to many things with little to no ill-effects. A decent sense of humor helps... especially about oneself !

If you buy a bigger bottle, they will just consume more, and it will go even faster. I buy the 10kg of laundry detergent from S&R and it goes like 3 times faster than the individual packages.
Towel rack is for towels ,,, anything else found there should be filed in the rubbish bin. Conditioner empty packs should be stapled to the bra's :)

My son stayed with Me the summer He graduated High School. He would leave wet towels on my new carpet. I broke Him from doing that by putting the towels on his mattress and covering them with the blankets. Now He puts them in the laundry basket. HAHAHAHAHAHA

The trash on the bathroom sink though, that's no excuse. The sink should be spotless. Also the bath tub and the shower. That's why there's a trash can in the bathroom.
Bottled shampoos and conditioners are less expensive than the sachet ones in terms of how many times its used.
Littering in the Philippines is violation of city and provincial ordinances laid out by their laws. There are fines for it and even some jail time in Manila. There are no enforcement of those laws. The end result is the negative behavior of throwing trash and other litter in public places. They seem to be not mindful of that habit. Sorry, this is where the government has to step in and they will comply. There are various towns in the provinces with efficient local officials elected that actually has made their areas clean. Education to socialise everyone that being poor is not an excuse to live like pigs.

The thing that pisses me of most at the moment is that she is putting her hair in the bathtub (when combing) instead of into the toilet. Its right there just turn right instead of left... So every time my kid (or me) is taking a bath I need to clean the tub before use. She dont care, she just flush it and clogs the drain instead. Now she is the one cleaning the drain since I refuse, but she still dont stop...
I have a Filipina wife and putting hair in the toilet is just as bad clogging wise. Wait till you need a plumber because of hair

More like what is an issue to us isn't important to them. Because of the xpat is in the Philippines it's always important for him to:
1 Keep the leverage in his favor
2 Have at least one close American friend on hand in the Philippines 😊
3 adapt, be patient and , look at the positive.

I learned that we foreigners should be careful with our way of communicating with a filipina woman. They do not accept that we are sometimes too direct with them, they consider it a form of shame and aggression. By the way , communicating with a filipina is very complicaties, they often don' 't understand us unfortunately.with all due respect in that regard i no longer feit at home in their mentaliteit.

I live now with a nice woman in the netherlands, free in my expression, free in the way i act and think. I'm happy with that.

I am right there with you, King, right there with you. The panties, bras, and clothes in general are always a big problem. As is the hair in the drain. And my girlfriends mother is coming to stay with us in September, lol. But let's face it, They will not change, brother. The same goes for the kitchen and refrigerator. But that is a whole new video. I brought mine to the states.She loves hot water, padded toilet seat, and toilet paper, problem is she acts surprised every time it’s her monthly and there’s usually a huge mess in the bed on the toilet oh and the hair, it’s like they’re oblivious to it. And don’t get me started on leaving snack wrappers everywhere they go. In the car, the living room, the driveway. Just blind to it, and the food left out on the ale for 3 days and keep eatin on it, but hey…I’m learnin

Think what makes many foreigner choose to leave their country, one reason is less taxes. I grew up in Canada and people here are as dirty, but we pay Extreme high taxes and someone picks up the trash that the citizens throw on the ground. Careful to want Philippines to be more like your country.

Don't get pissed, it just raises your blood pressure. Rectify the problem by putting an extra towel rack in the CR. Also I noticed that the floor and walls need regrouting.
