Fumoto valve looks pretty cool! Makes changing oil even easier I guess.. even though it's pretty easy anyways! LOL

I have same bike with 24k miles (primary commuter) I’ve done all oil changes myself. I prefer K&N wrench off filter. Also, I’ve run different brands/full synthetic and believe it or not that machine LOVES Yamalube conventional 10/40 the best. In fact, Yamaha recommends this oil. Anyway, go figure.

24k nice! I just got to 4k. Did the oil change over the weekend. I go with Rotella T6 strictly for the cost, I change my oil more than the recommend maintenance recommends. Every 2k Miles. I’ll have to check out K&N, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 👍🏽

I have a 2018 and I've run Motul 5100 semi synthetic 10w 40 and Mobil One Racing 4t full synthetic 10w 40 and my bike runs great with both. Never tried the Yamalube though.

Is it okay to go with full synthetic at the 600 mile first oil change?
