I think that’s the harness connection but really there’s only 1 place for any connection to go. Even the coil packs have only enough length to get to the right plug..
I only end up doing this yesterday cuz of 2 throttle check engine lights. Since I live at an apartment, if I do work here. So many people wanna se it not work it gets me in a mode to wanna proform which caused me to rush and not not putting that corner bolt under the plastic harness case causing a big leak. I think the bolt is wedged under the cover but it ran amazing just smoke, 😂. I did the majority with no video until the last 10 bolts but I didn't take the rail off or disconnect the full harness like I should have.
#1 never care what others think about you! Haters will only hate on someone doing better than them, you’ll never see a hater, hate on someone doing less than them. When someone does that it’s only bc they are jealous or envious of what you are doing. Not sure what you mean by what happened… I took more off than you need too bc I was doing work to other stuff if you can do the work wothout disconnecting the harness that’s fine not gna change anything unless your unplugging and plugging stuff in with the battery connected. That’s the easiest way to fry a brand new sensor or an old one. The old ones will almost always go bad if you plug it in and the battery is connected. A leaky valve cover doesn’t always cause a check engine light but there’s an easy way to tell if it’s the gasket. Pull the pcv vacuum lines out of the intake tube and plug the actual intake so it’s air tight the rubber hoses can go in an empty soda bottle for 5 mins make sure the battery is unplugged and resetting the computer (30mins min disconnected battery)once that’s all set start the car and let it run too see if the codes gone. If it’s gone then the gasket leaks causing the light. You can drive the car like this but I suggest getting a cheap oil catch can for driving instead of the bottles used only for testing. As long as the intakes sealed it’ll run fine if it leaks it’ll cause the same issue. I hope this helps

in the middle of the video you mentioned you knew which one of the spark plug seals was leaking, how did you find that out? Just checking the plug wells?

I’ve heard ppl say the spacer on the rev up is a loss in power? Anyone else hear this? I’ve heard unless you are adding the mrev2 with it it’s useless… I have a spacer… do I just not put it on?? Getting dyno tuned for bolt ons soon.. so I Wana make the best of it
Good question. I am not sure on the rev up but me personally I ported & polished the plenum and lower manifold with the spacer and with headers it made a massive difference! Low end torque and responsiveness is crazy from 2k -7k rpm it’s just there! And honestly if I didn’t do the headers I wouldn’t see 1/2 the difference bc the stock ones are baffled and tiny! Opening them up is crucial you can try to add all the air and fuel but with nowhere to go it’s best to open up the exhaust flow.
Why take off the lower? Makes no sense it’s more work for nothing. Not hating or nothing still appreciate the video. Thumbs up 👍 Edit: do know a trick to unhooking the right side valve cover hose? Mine seem to be stuck and the hose seems brittle but it’s not held on by clamps so idk
If you watch my other videos I took it off bc I was there and why not replace a 30$ gasket and it’s a total of 3 more minutes of work. And the real reason is because I ported and polished the plenum and lower manifold and injector ports.
@@lilgoon8613 ya try and get some wd-40 under the edge. I’ll pinch it with pliers or a small screwdriver under the edge and spray it then use pliers and don’t squeeze hard just enoug to wiggle the rubber back and forth and it’ll brake loose. If not just check if u have extra slack and just cut it as close as possible so when it goes back on you have enough hose.
I use High Tack Gasket sealer to keep the gasket in place it make it stick better then RTV
