I am about to tackle replacing my valve cover gasket on a 2003 Infiniti. I have avoided it for two years, but your video has given me renewed confidence to get it done. Thanks.
What a great video. Gave me the confidence to tackle it myself. I had to do both sides though. I messed up and overtorqued the bolts on the left side, stripped 2 and broke a bolt. Were it not for that, following your instructions made the rest very straightforward. Thanks.
I have a question about the tube protruding from the valve cover closest to the driver side. I’m pretty sure that’s a pcv breather hose but when I took my valve cover off, it did not have one. Is that normal? Also my air intake did not have a rubber tube under it either. Is that normal as well?
Can you do the right side😂. And can you show how you placed the gasket on that valve cover with ease? I've seen so many people use different techniques. Wish you had shown how you did it without it going all over the place. Great videos, though. Especially that you reminded how much to torque the bolts.
Watching you miss that miss that washer at 4:00 and drop it behind the motor at 4:29 gave me PTSD. Great video though. EDIT: Now that I've watched again. Did you just not use the washers for any of the upper bolts on reassembly. Is this OK to do?

+@briandorais3690 Thanks for the feedback! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Do you snug the bolts on the valve cover first then you torque it or do you just torque at first

Hello. Can someone please confirm if the VQ25DE uses the same size rocker valve covers? Thank you.
What is the tightening force for the cover screws?
Bery well explained video.
Thank you 🙏🏽
