There is a very good reason these interviewers pick this man above all other so called experts and that reason is nobody else is on this mans level of knowledge into the mind of a narcissist , there is absolutely nothing this man doesn't known about this subject , he as forgotten more than anyone of these so called experts will ever now, there is only "ONE EXPERT" on this subject and that is this man, credit were credit is due..🐐

There is so much to learn, its like If I had been all this time asking why and here is the reason with HG Tudor.
My husband was diagnosed with Narcissism, he was forced to go to Psychiatry by the judge if he wished to see the kids, he had a frame of psychosis. I helped him to hide it after a car accident and 9 years of me going to psychiatry for our family, and me, not enough was learned until Ive meet HG. A path changer and beloved one to listen at.

There is a genetic factor for narcissism which is totally out of your control-You needn’t blame yourself, you’re not flawless. If you’re an empath you parented as best you could. If your daughter is a narc, I’m truly sorry-Mourn the child she was, but don’t allow your empathy to set you up for defeat against the woman she now is.

Very true about the DSM! I think to really understand it you have to be ensnared by one. Narcissists also target mental health therapists so some of us understand it. The classifications really helped because other people blend them together so it's contradictory and hard to understand. Thank you HG!

Interesting interview with a medical doctor. It’s great she is exploring the biological aspects that may contribute to NPD and treatment. I think psychedelics can open a higher level of consciousness in a being giving them a more expanded vision of themselves and our place in the greater universal scope of existence but with a narcissist this knowledge or awareness can deepen the sense of grandiosity and be used to gain power over others unless there is a total transformation in consciousness and purification of the ego. Otherwise ego just gets more grandiose thinking it’s little self is God.

Thank you for the explanation about what makes a narcissist. I've been concerned about my daughter turning into a narcissist. Her father is one and he's got custody. I have little contact with her, sadly. Yet, I see her temperament is so much like mine. As a small child she displayed a lot of empathy, but I am afraid that is getting lost as she grows up. I see her more and more imitating her father's temper tantrums and excessive anger over little things. Yet he takes pride in her being a "rebel" and being "independent" because that's how he sees himself. I wonder if that can save her...

Great interview. In my opinion, a true Narc will manipulate and weaponize any psychedelic treatment and the provider will be at great risk especially if they are an empath. The therapist who is an Empaths is at risk if they treat NPD with any modality including LSD.

    • @doctorchristineb
      @doctorchristineb 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Just to be clear, the use of psychedelics in the studies done was a one time use coupled with intense and highly monitored psychotherapy. It isn’t just sporadic use of the psychedelic. The objective of treatment is to compline the therapy which is ongoing, with the use of the psychedelic once to allow the person with NPD to experience the realm of the e world on a bigger spectrum of people and feelings vs their own little world of narcissism.

    Spot on, HG. Short answer:
See Pink Floyd. RW giant ego.
Most bands ( psychedelic rock or not) are led by huge narcissists.
Quick survey of all of the psychedelic bands of the 60s and the personalities of its members will debunk the good doctor’s theory and the respective papers.
    Your intuitions are correct, sir.
There are entire multiple generations of people who have had psychedelic experiences repeatedly with their groups of friends and everyone knows a) that one narcissistic person who totally changed and became more decent and kind and loving and shed their protective armor ego and let down their guard and exposed their vulnerability and had a change of heart or had a true conversion experience, and b) that one egotistical person who remained unchanged despite the same medicine and environmental setting, whom we all realized was a Narcissist/( cluster b at least )

That was the only time that was actually easy to get along with My ex narcissist who was diagnosed with ASP D in prison was when we took mushrooms or for the few weeks after we took mushrooms. What I would see was just a reduction in his Negative behaviors. One of the other things I noticed that he would do to what I would say run from the horrible voice that tells me so evil and awful would be to play music very loudly all the time or always be busy with Several projects at a time it was as if he could never stay busy enough. No contact for almost 6 months now I'm still waiting to feel better but I know that it will come I burn bridges so that mother could never be in my life again though because apparently there is no cure not even the mushrooms worked As a permanent solution. That is just my personal experience others may have had different experiences either way I don't think there's any cure that will last.

Well I have empathy but my narcissistic traits tend to center round middl mid range B Type of a mindset so I am going to work on those Character defects and practice gratefulness every single day and I am feeling better already thank you HD for giving us an insight into our own latent narcissistic traits this can be a way of moving forward in a more Aware manner after being devastated by someone like your kind. I want to kind of scrub my inners I guess that sounds weird but I want to clean up my inner working so that I am less attractive to your kind. One of the things I realized is that I got and snared with this person as a result of my late narcissism because he was choosing me over another girl at least that's the way I saw it at the time now I see it is totally different that there is no comparison between me and the other women that he was dating The most important aspect being that we all share the same purpose to the N ...that we provided fuel.
Ask for the mushrooms me and my ex narcissist used to do mushrooms several times and I can say that it is true when he was doing the mushrooms he was much easier to get along with but they are not a cure for narcissism. Whenever he comes to from the mushrooms hes still a narcissist but I would say that for within a week or so after doing the mushrooms that he would be more pleasant but the problem with mushrooms is if you do them too often they lose their effect on you so it's kind of a maybe a kind of help if it was like a once every 3 months treatment I think I could see that as being true That it can ease the symptoms of needing to fill that fuel for a while, but it will not cure the narcissim.

Can a narcissist use marijuana to substitute for fuel if fuel is scarce? I think that's what my ex did. He was able to be alone for extended periods of time but I don't think he is a psychopath, he does seem to experience fear and a lot of anxiety. He used huge amounts of marijuana before he met me but he told me he would stop during the love bombing phase. He never did stop completely, but he reduced it a lot.

As you reflect upon the notion that Narcissists seek pleasure and avoid pain, Do you believe Narcissism is an extreme self defense mechanism from feeling negative emotions , such as a wounded ego, a wounded heart, a wounded soul, rejection, and from having empathy which would involve knowing others emotions , and rather prefers to be, if even at a subconscious level , “anti human “because it’s too great a risk to ever put one’s self in this position? Or could it be that a narcissist believes ( at a subconscious level ,) that they will never get their needs met as a result of insecure attachment in infancy or early childhood so they have learned to get their needs met anyway they can with no concern for people ( I.e., substituting main caretaker ) because they never had any concern for the narcissists or unstable response to needs, and distrust anyone who might show concern as fake , false , or manipulating ? And under these conditions , could a God who loves you so much he sent his son to die for you , promises to never leave you or give up in you, meets all your needs , and is preparing a home for you to live with him for all eternity , help you become a caring, loving, empathetic individual ? Can a narcissist be born again, new man new spirit ?

This is why I follow your work, HG. These "professionals" are often unclear and ultimately, unhelpful, in their work. Twenty seconds in and I already want to dismiss her. Another instance of people with degrees just throwing big words out and expecting they will magically make sense to the listener.
