Listening to this, I am greatly reassured that I got my children out of the situation before they were changed forever. I know it would have happened. I think--hope--that I got them out in time. I should have seen the signs when I saw my father-in-law in action early on. I should have seen the signs. But I had never before known anyone like these people. I thought that love could cure all.

Excellent interview, again more insights into the narcissist and how they think and work and use people for their prime aims! The mother who never praises! By the way, every time you said "watering hole" I was brought back to the Lion King movie. HG, your voice would make a delightful SCAR...

I always love these interviews HG. They show amazing self awareness and honesty about the narcissistic dynamic so much more than the Google searches on celebrities and calling them "forensic analysis" imo. Thank you.

This part two was excellent. I particularly liked the discussion around impulsivity and cognitive dissonance. Christine brought some interesting insights based on her professional background.
I particularly enjoyed where you went more in-depth with regard to narcissism vs. psychopathy - really whets the appetite for more on that topic from you.

HG: Love this! More and more HG is the best authoritative person; the go-to-guy for people who need help and understanding about Narcissism.
HG your interviews offers clear authoritative information and advice on the topic of Narcissism is considered to be the best of its kind and unlikely to be improved upon! I think so anyway..
HG : You represent power....for example:
The power associated with someone who exhibits full authority of delegated power individualized.. In every area of your Life..
Most people wish to be and become..but can't...Why?
    Because they're not You...
    A rare Pearl....A rare Find...
Superb quality through and through in this interview.. Thank-you 💖

Wow that flattery is transparent. I think u have to be more veiled in your attempt to get his attention. Maybe mix it with an ambiguous insult.

That explanation about the difference between psychopaths and narcissists was very helpful. I always thought that psychopaths were also narcissists by default but you said they embrace the emptiness unlike narcissists.

This series of interviews was great! Flows like a lecture and very informative. Even though I had much of the information from programs in the knowledge vault, it is very useful to hear this detailed presentation and there is also always something new. Good questions also that help bring forward the presentations.

When I called out my mid-range narcissistic husband, he rejected it and blamed me that I’m the narcissist. So I just ignored him.🤗

This is fascinating, H.G, thank you very much. What great and highly interesting insights! More of that please! 😍😍🥰🥰
This is horrible what happens to the narcissist with low fuel levels! From my own ensnarements with narcissists and what you describe here and in your wonderful material, I´m sorry to say that I see NPD as a SEVERE mental illness, a very very bad disease! Even my mom, who does not know that my dad has NPD and is still with him, sometimes calls him "balla balla" or "coo coo". 🤪 She admits openly to me "Your father has a terrible mental illness", she just does not know what it is. To me as well, NPD is a terrible, horrible disease ! 😔 Let´s hope for a good treatment some day!

Hey H G, would you say everyone to some extent works to fulfill their own needs when relating to others or is this a narcissistic trait? I ask as I think a lot of people do this unconsciously especially if they have low self worth and are looking for some sort of validation. Maybe that's part of co- dependence?

Well done HG, nailed the pace and timing with lots of excellent information. I listened to a video just now from the Tarot about a Narcissist wanting to knock a friend of yours off their path and attempting by any means to destroy them, to leave them with nothing.Any advice on why a narcissist would react like this and how your friend could make peace with that narcissist?

When I would cry, and it wasn't my mother who made me cry, she would tell me, "Stop crying before I give you something to cry about!" Or, she would say, "Stop that crying, it doesn't do you any good! It doesn't solve anything!"

Fascinating interview again. Quick question though. If a narcissist can never heal can a normal or empath become narcissistic? I’m not sure which camp I fall into but I know one thing for sure, I’m definitely done with being surrounded by people behaving in narcissistic ways. How do I find my narcissism? It sounds so much easier than being on the receiving end of it.

So if I have no feeling of fear in my grandiose state, that means I have psychopathic traits? Outside of my grandiose State I have intense self-loathing and lack of self-esteem. Over empathizing with people. In my grandiose State I have done things that I still have to remind myself that they actually occurred. I never really felt that I split in two like this until I started dating a covert narcissist.
In my 20s I was a correctional officer. I had a taste for violence that was almost unquenchable. After a while I found myself behaving timidly in order to attract a predator to try and pray on me. It worked on the more obvious socio/psychopaths but the advanced ones could see right through my bullshit. Especially if they were in and out of jail they would remember something that I did to someone from a previous incarceration and then would spread that information around the housing unit. So it didn't matter how I acted I couldn't bait anyone into a fight if their lives depended on it. It helps to understand how and why I behave the way I do because some part of me doesn't want to be like this and is in conflict with the dominant part of my psychology.
My question is...how to I control my need for fuel when its pursuit becomes detrimental to my best interests?
